UDI Form Blank When Starting Within Windows

I seem to have a strange issue where when I start a UDI form from within a task sequence that starts within Windows (for a refresh scenario) the form loads fine but appears blank.
When I load the form in WinPE it seems to work fine. No errors are shown in the smsts.log file. Not sure what the problem is?

Firefox hangs when starting, Firefox window title bar says "Firefox (not responding)". (was: Firefox crashes)

Firefox hangs when starting, during session restore. Uninstalled then installed new Firefix. Same problem. Firefox window title bar says "Firefox (not responding)". It just hangs, won;t display even one page. What to do? Tried -safe-mode, smae result.

I keep too many tabs open and whilst trying to download a pdf file Firefox 8.01 hung and when I restarted it the Embarrassing page opened. I knew which tab I needed to delete but as soon as I tried to navigate to the errant tab it said "Not Responding" and nothing I could do would make it respond. I tried command line opening in safe mode and the same thing happened.
I have read the other posts but cannot send a crash dump as it is "Not Responding" and does not get far enough to crash.

Forms blank when sent from IPAD.

I've created a fillable form on my PC. All of the recipients use IPAD. When they fill out the form and email it back to me it is blank. When I do it from my PC it works fine. Can someone help me figure out why??? We downloaded Adobe Reader to the IPADs to fill them out....but when they click to email it back, the form clears....HELP!!

Hello Georganne, I would like to get some information to understand what you're seeing, so we can help you through, or discover if there's a bug that we need to fix.
When you say they fill out the form on theur iPad and return it, that the form is blank. I'd like to dig on this a little more to make sure of the exact situation.Are you opening the form on your PC and seeing the form as empty? Or are they saying that when they look at the attached form in the iPad email application it appears blank?
I ask this question because the iPad email app's rendering of PDF has a bug that makes it not render form contents, so it may appear blank there, even if the data is in the form. If you got the form and looked at it on your PC, and the data just isn't there, that is a different problem that is in our product somewhere.
If you could send a sample of the file you sent out, along with a response that was returned empty, we can take a look and give a more definitive answer.

403 error when starting in windows 7 sp 1 O.S.

I am using Firefox 5.0 in Windows 7 Ultimate O.S. Recently Adobe Flash and SP 1 upgrades appear to have corrupted the URL of the default startup search on Yahoo to produce 403 "unauthorized" errors. I cannot use existing Firefox bookmarks or change the bad URL. My I.E. browser appears to be O.K. I tried Wisefixer software repair program but the problem still persists. Are there any articles on Firefox 5.0 running in Windows 7, SP 1? or, How to fix 403 errors? Problems? Known issues?

I have done what you mentioned several times now, also a hard reset of the device.
I have made the observation that after installing the mentioned files and not starting the MI yet, there are the following files in the inbox-folder:
create.dir
8 xml-files
sap.comtcmobilewdlitecontainer~implementation.sda
Then I have tried to start the MI client, but same error as described. In the inbox-folder, only the create.dir and the *.sda-file are listed there. Is it possible that there is an error in the *.sda-file?

Oracle 11i forms crash when run on Windows 7 using IE 8 or IE 9

I am trying to run oracle apps form on my windows 7 pc using ie 8 or ie 9. But the browser crashes whenever I try to open the form. I am using Oracle EBS version 11.5 and Jinitiator version 1.3.1.18. I tried replacing the jvm.dll file in Jinitiator with that of my JRE 1.6 update 27 but it did not work.

Mac Pro Screen Blank When Started

I have a Mac Pro 1,1 running 10.7.5. I turned off my computer. When I went to turn it back on all I am getting is a blank screen. No apple logo or moving wheel. I have a bootable hard drive, so I tried to reboot holding down the option key. Blank screen.
Now what?

YOU HAVE TO INCLUDE THINGS LIKE WHAT GRAPHIC CARD YOU USE.
Because the first suggestion is X1900, OEM 7300GT, 8800GT are all due for upgrade/replacement.
Do yourself a favor the ATI 5770 from Apple works well for us and 10.7.5.
You could also use Lion Recovery Mode / pull your hard drive and boot from a bootable clone backup (because you know about and learned to do that years ago with SuperDuper or CCC or one of the other programs).
Dust, heat, old FBDIMMs, graphic cards that literally do give up and die.

Itunes 10.5.2 freeze when starts on windows 7 home premium 64 bit

I've uninstalled, restarted then installed again the 64 bit version of Itunes and it keeps freezing even in safe mode, there is no way that I can sync my iPod touch 4g to my computer. Is there any other .exe file that I could install to make itunes work on my computer or will i have to wait for the next update that will come out in a while I guess.

Having the same issue here....a quick fix is to just minimize the window, and immediately maximize it. It will now fit the screen. Trouble is, after you close it, you'll have to do it again when you re-start itunes. The good news is it takes all of about 2 seconds. Apple should fix this. Should.

Problem: Deployment to WL10.3 Server Instance started as Windows Service

Hi Everybody,
I have deployed my J2EE Application to a Standalone WebLogic Server Instance (in development mode) started from the Windows Command Level via startWebLogic.cmd. I also tested the deployment to a Clustered Managed Server Environment(1 AdminServer+2 MS Servers in the cluster; development mode), all servers started from the command line. The application could be tested and everything worked fine.
But:
When I set up the WebLogic Server Instance(s) as a Windows Service(s) (following the instructions http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs103/server_start/winservice.html) my application can’t be deployed at startup time.
I get 3 ClassNotFoundExceptions:
- on startup class "DMS-Startup" (oracle.dms.wls.DMSStartup)
- on startup class "ODL-Startup" (oracle.core.ojdl.weblogic.ODLConfiguration)
- on startup class "JPS Startup Class" (oracle.security.jps.wls.JpsWlsStartupClass)
The Service is started but under Administration Console/Deployments the Enterprise Application is marked as “New” and not as “ Active”. The other Deployments: adf.oracle.domain(1.0, 11.1.1.0.0), jsf(1.2, 1.2.7.1) and jstl(1.2, 1.2.0.1) are shown as “Active”.
I tried to redeploy the Application directly from the JDeveloper to the running Standalone WLS Instance (Single Server) - as I did before.
The Deployment failed:

Why does the deployment work on the WLS Instance started from command line and why does it fail when started as Windows Service?
I am Using WLServer 10.3 and the JDeveloper 11g on a Windows Vista OS - both installed via jdevstudio11110install.exe. My Web Application uses BC and ADF Faces.
The Windows Service is set up by doing the following in a server-specific script placed under the USERDOMAIN_HOME directory:
set DOMAIN_NAME=mydomain
set USERDOMAIN_HOME=C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\mydomain
set JAVA_OPTIONS=Dweblogic.Stdout = … Dweblogic.Stderr=…

I must do this directly in the registry.
Is anything missing? What’s wrong?

This thread was very helpful to get WebLogic 11g running as a Windows service. My problem was that I couldn't get the Enterprise Manager application to deploy correctly on startup, so I had to tweak both the installSvc.cmd and my script that installs the service (by copying important Java Options from the startup script that works as noted above). It was too hard to discern what exactly Enterprise Manager needed, so I copied a whole bunch.
What I ended up doing was using this as a script to install the Windows service:

It needed those extra .jars to deploy properly.

When starting, Firefox opens an extra tab that is about Firefox. I am tired of it already!

Firefox allows for multiple homepages in separate tabs, separated by the pipe | symbol.

Planning picks up default validateData.js when started as Win services

Hi,
I have customized ValidateData.js which is working fine when EPM 11.1.2.0 Planning service is started from Web logic.
If I go http://<Planning_Server>/HyperionPlanning/custom/ValidateData.js, it gives the customized ValidateData.js file which is in "E:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystemDEV\servers\Planning1\tmp\_WL_user\HyperionPlanning\73a6ac\war\custom\" directory
However if I start Planning service from Windows services console, Planning service picks up default ValidateData.js file which has no validation in it.
I have searched entire directory including Planning Temp directory (C:\TEMP\servers\Planning1\tmp\_WL_user\HyperionPlanning\73a6ac\war\custom) and replaced ValidateData.js with the customized one. I even replaced ValidateData.js in HyperionPlanning.war but Planning still picks up default ValidateData.js when started from Windows Services or startPlanning.bat
Does anyone know where Planning service picks up ValidateData.js when it is started as Windows Services? or why Planning behaves different when it is started from web logic / win services?
Any help would be much appreciated.

EPM 11 Planning admin guide says that but ValidateData.js and SampleValidateData.js is not in \WEB-INF folder.
I have customized ValidateData.js in Hyperion 9.3.1 before and changing ValidateData.js in \custom directory did it.
I copied the customized ValidateData.js file into \WEB-INF folder and restarted planning (as windows services) but Planning still picks up default ValidateData.js.
I still can't find where in the planning server this default ValidateData.js is sitting.
