No, that is not possible. These are totally different cards. They have a different custom design with a cooler totally different and the GAming offering profiles that can't be used with an ordinary N660 TF 2GD5/OC

normal is the pre-overclocked default vbios. LN2 (which can be chosen via the selector switch on top of your card) is not factory overclocked but allows more extreme manual oc without the limits of normal vbios (more voltage and power draw allowed). This is especially needed for extreme oc like if using Liquid nitrogen (LN2) cooling for oc records.

Ah, there is more than meets the eye to it.
I recently newly installed Windows 8.1, why didn't it auto install it to GPT? I'm not gonna do a reinstall right away to test if it's working.
btw: what about GPT and SSD trim? It thought that didn't get along well?
btw 2: Is this particular thing also related to the fact that I can't enable the "Windows 8 feature" in the bios and so also not "Secure Boot"? With it enabled the PC won't go to Windows and keeps hanging on some black/yellow letter UEFI screen...

Old(er) BIOS for MSI GTX 580 Twin Frozr II/OC ?

Does anyone know where to obtain older BIOSes for my videocard (see subject)? It seems I made the mistake of not backing up the old one when I flashed to the new official BIOS that was released by MSI (https://forum-en.msi.com/faq/article/msi-nvidia-graphics-cards-from-570-580-series-read-here).
The problem with this updated BIOS is that although it does increase the default voltage a bit, making it more (but not entirely) stable in certain games, it also causes instability during boot when the card is in VESA mode - I get to see funky pixels, sometimes BSODs when booting Windows. Once it is booted and the login screen appears, the pixel artifacts are gone and I can play games for hours - it's just during boot where the card seems to be flaky.
Considering that I can just increase the voltage for better stability using Afterburner, I'd like to try and flashing the original BIOS for my card that I had on it originally which I believe was version 70.10.20.00.01 - I guess I can't be a 100% sure that these problems are caused by the updated BIOS, but all I know is that none of the problems described above were present with this older version and they appeared immediately after flashing the update

Ah, yes you are correct. I just double checked everything and I uploaded the wrong BIOS file and BIOS info (I was messing around with different BIOSes and upped the wrong one). My serial number is 100% correct, though. This is the current one I have:

I installed the MSI Live Update Version 6 to NV287MH_2C0.
I noticed an improvement in 3DMark11, with the Original BIOS was 2354 points, now with the new BIOS is 2400 points.
From my original Bios for that last BIOS I installed which improved on the board?
Is there a better BIOS than that?
This sure that this BIOS installed on board?

One more question, what is the difference in MH files to MS, or NV287MS NV287MH example?
And what would be GOP or LEGACY?

Your original vbios is NV287MH.200. NV287MH.2C0 is also not correct for your card. The current version for your card is NV287MH.201.

An MH file is a UEFI vbios while MS is a legacy vbios. A UEFI vbios is GOP compliant which is required for using UEFI booting and secure boot. A legacy vbios can't be used for UEFI booting as it is only meant for legacy bios mainboards. The MH vbios is also hybrid as it supports UEFI and legacy booting. Only old mainboards will only work with vgas using a legacy vbios.

Thank you, I believe it worked, however now I have another issue.
Now that I got the card flashed and good to go, now when i set windows 8 mode, my computer boots to the EFI Shell, I check bios and i have no idea how to disable or stop it from happening.. Any ideas?
