Ugh..third party flash problems

While this forum has been very supportive and helpful to Window's users, I'm a Mac user with the same problem. I cannot click on the Flash box that says "accept third party" etc...The other two boxes are fine, but it's impossible to cIick on the middle box. I  use firefox, but it's an issue on all my browers (safari and Opera) so it must be another problem. When I try to listen to Myspace, the player goes for a sec then stops and I can't listen to Pandora either.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Pat, is this the thread you are thinking about?

If not, I may have another one. Let me know.
Thanks,

P.S. I just checked that thread and it is Post#16 instead of what I just deleted. Also comments that you made regarding Windows is very important.

  • Not seeing "allow third-party Flash content to store..." in Flash 10.0.45.2

    Hi,
I just upgraded to Flash player 10.0.45.2. I would like to review and choose my privacy settings.
When I go to the Settings manager through the online interface, I do not see the "Allow thrid-party Flash content to store..." as expected and as described in
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/546/4c68e546.html
    Instead, I see
I want to set up my settings to allow to store information from the original domain, but NOT from third-party domains, how do I do this?
The first choice is in French and says :
'Allow Flash content to store information on your computer". There is no reference whatsoever to "third-party" information.
Is this normal? Is this a translation mistake? Does the first choice there apply to ALL information (so-called Flash cookies), from the originated domain AND from the third-party domains?
Second question: I can't seem to find how to see the Settings manager in English...
I am using Firefox, but I tried with Opera, and the Settings manager looked the same: no choice for "third-party" thinsg either.
My OS is Windows XP SP2 (French), but all my browsers are English, so I'd like to see the Flash settings in English, too.
Thanks for any help, I really want to block the third-party cookies, but not the others.

    Hi again,
Thanks for your time... but I'm still stuck.
    The Language problem
I CAN change the language settings for the Global site, but the Flash Player settings 'live" window is ALWAYS in French, no matter what I do and which language I choose.
    The Third-Party Settings problem:
    As you said:
    In English, the choices are:
    Never ask again
Allow third party content to store data on your computer
Store common Flash components to reduce download times
    In French, the choices are:
Ne plus demander (This is a correct translation of "Never ask again")
Autoriser le contenu Flash à enregistrer des données sur votre ordinateur : This is an INCOMPLETE OR WRONG translation, the french sentence means "Allow content to store data on your computer". There is NO MENTION of third-party here.
Stocker les composants Flash courants pour réduire la durée de téléchargement. This is a correct translation of "Store common Flash components to reduce download times.
So, am I to think that if I uncheck the second choice, I will disallow third-party stuff (as in the English sentence), or will it disallow ALL content to be stored (as in the French sentence), regardless of third-party or not?
This is very important for me, and for all the French speaking Flash player users.
I can't believe there is such a mistake in a product used as widely as the Flash player is...
The Website Storage settings are per website settings, I do not want to have to accept/deny each website individually, I want a global policy for disabling third-party cookies, exactly as the second choice in English is designed for.
Unfortunately, the French second choice (apparently) doesn't say the same, as it allows/disallows ALL contents.
Could someone from the Adobe translation team (or equivalent) help to solve this, maybe?
Regards and thanks for any help.

  • How Access a Third Party Flash Media Player

    Hello eveyone,
I was wondering if there is any way that I can know some how
what buttons "Play, Pause, FF, etc. " has been clicked a third
    party Flash Media Player?
Thank you and have a great day.
    Khoramdin

Thanks for the suggestions it appears I was doing more or less the right things but miss reading the error message:
    Cannot access keyword.classes.thirdPartyClass
    bad class file C:\java\keyword\classes\thirdPartyClass
class file contains wrong class: thirdPartyClass
please remove or make sure it appears in the correct subdirectroy of the classpath.
While looking I have found that the classes do not contian src folders of Javadoc so I will go see if the third party can supply a Jar file or similar.
    Thanks

  • "Allow Third-Party Flash Content to Store" possible as a Linux user?

    Hello,
is it possible to activative the option "Allow Third-Party
Flash Content to Store" on the "Global Storage Settings" panel if
you are starting a webbrowser as a normal user under Linux? At the
moment it is only possible for me if I start my Firefox (or Opera,
Konqueror) with root priviileges. Do I have to change the rights of
a certain folder or something like that?
The reason why I ask is that I noticed that you can activate
sound in YouTube Videos only if you activate Flash Cookies.
My Flash Player version is the current one, version 9. I use
Kubuntu 7.10, if it is of any importance.
    Thanks for any help
    UltraBreyten

OK, I solved it. There is a hidden .macromedia folder in the
home folder, where the youtube sound settings are stored.
Everything in the macromedia folder was set as root. I simply
deleted the .macromedia folder, it was recreated with user rights
when I came back to youtube.

  • Third party Flash transition effects

Can third party transition effects be used in Catalyst?

The effect code would not be accessible to Catalyst. You can use Flash Profession to animate the item with the effect you want, then import that swf into Flash Catalyst. FC does allow you to play and stop a swf.
The imported swf should be published with player 10.1 as the target.
    Hope this helps,

  • Third Party Apps problem on my Intel Mac Pro

Third party applications such as Quicken, Microsoft Word (for Mac) and Palm Desktop will launch once with no problem. But, when I close the application and try to boot it later, nothing happens. Nor will the other afore-mentioned apps open. If I shut down my computer and re-boot, all is well again until I shut down the app. Any clues? I do repair permissions but the problem persists.
    MacPro   Mac OS X (10.4.7)   12" iBook

OK Gulliver and anyone else interested in this problem. I ran the latest version of Cocktail using the Cron script and permission repair as well as deleting the user and internet caches. When I rebooted, the problem seems to have gone.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  • Third-Party Cert problem

    WLC 4402 - 4.2.130.0
I have generated a CSR and received a certificate from GlobalSign. Has followed the instructions in "certificate signing Request Generation for a Third-Party ......"(DOcID 70584) , and uploaded the certificate to the WLC.
But still, when a user tries to log on to the portal(https://1.1.1.1/login.html), they get a sertificate error: "The adress does not match....."
The dnsname for our controller is: wlan-controller-1.xxxxxxxxx.xx
Any tips on how I can solve this ?
    Regards
    JF

had the same problem with a globalsign cert - problem is with your WLC software rev. the doc you referred to states:
WLC software versions prior to 5.1.151.0 do not support chained certificates. The workaround is to use one of these options:
Acquire an unchained certificate from the CA (which means that the signing root is trusted).
Have all valid intermediate CA root certificates (trusted or untrusted) installed on the client.
with WLC v5.1 we installed chained globalsign cert and the cert works fine.
    cheers

  • Cannot view third party flash (windows 7)

I've been trying to check the box to enable me to allow third party content but it will not check no matter what I do.
I've seen people post about this before, but the other posts were from users with different operating systems. I'm running windows 7 with firefox 3.6.12 and adobe flash 10.1
    Please help..

Delete the 'Flash Player' folders at %APPDATA%\Adobe and %APPDATA%\Macromedia and try again. (Type or copy/paste these addresses into the Windows Explorer address bar.)

    re:  http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager03.htm l
Found this info recently, try this:
Note for IT / Tech Support staff: If you are in a Windows domain login environment, such as a workplace network, there could be a conflict with the location of the Desktop directory. Some users have reported success by creating an empty folder named "Desktop" in their home directories (so if you already have a "Desktop" folder in your home directory, this probably will not help).
In explorer, go to your home directory location:
    XP: C:\Documents and Settings\WINDOWS-USERNAME\
    Vista: C:\Users\WINDOWS-USERNAME\
Create a new folder named "Desktop" in that location. Then try enabling Flash Local Storage again, as above.

  • Third party PO problem.

    Hi all
I am trying to create a Third party PO  against one of my company codes .for that purpose , i have defined plant as vendor .
I want the material to be directly dispartched to customer by that plant with reference to third party PO.
But system is giving me error that
'Third-party not defined in the case of vendor with plant assignment.'
    Diagnosis
You are entering a purchase transaction involving a vendor to whom a plant has been assigned. Normally, this will involve the transfer of materials from one plant to another.
This process necessitates a delivery and a billing document in the SD system. The PO appears directly in the delivery due list of the issuing plant (vendor) and therefore does not need to be transmitted.
However, an item with the procurement form "third-party" (triangular business deal) cannot appear in the delivery due list.
    Procedure
An item with the procurement form "third-party" can only be ordered from vendors without a plant assignment.
please help me to sort out this

    Hello Akshaya,
Go to the vendor screen in the change mode MK02 , enter the vendor number and  purchasing Organization and then check Purchasing Data box and press enter.
It would bring you to  Change Vendor : Purchasing Data  screen.
Click on Extras on top of your screen and then click on Add.purchasing data.
A pop up window appears, delete the the plant  under Plant Assignment tab and hit the green check mark and then press save.
Then retry to your process, this should help in resolving that error and if you have made all the settings of the Third party Process perfectly , you would be able to create a PO to the vendor.
    Reward if helpful.
    Thanks
    Murtuza

  • Third Party App Problem

Hey i live in jamaica and i have a curve 8520, in jamaica u pay a certain amout of money to get ur data plan for a month and i already did that but the money that i have on my phone for talking is starting to come off so i contacted my customer care and they said one of my third party apps were eating away my money, is there anyway to stop this? thanks in advance

Some third party apps incur extra data charges besides the BIS subscription. There is no way to bypass the charges because this is how the network provider set their billing. Use the app on a need basis and avoid running it in background to minimize the cost. An app that I know can run down credit is Youtube player or downloads.

  • Third party scenarios -- problem

    Hi Gurus
In third party scenario.  The vendor supplies the material and if
1)by unfortunately goods get damaged before reaching to the client
2)client identified some of the materials are poor in quality.
In these scenarios what is the business process and how is this mapped in SAP
I am having these scenarios please give your inputs...
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Suddu

    Dear Suddu,
Quantity adjustment takes place via the shipping notification and the variance in purchasing can be updated in Controlling using retroactive billing
    <b>Order</b>
When the order is created, the specification of material numbers, quantity and conditions takes place at item level. As the material is not available on stock, a purchase requisition is created directly within the sales order.
    <b>Purchase Order Processing</b>
The purchase requisition can already be automatically assigned during creation. If not, it is possible to assign the purchase requisition manually. The purchase order is created with reference to the purchase requisition. Quantity and material are transferred from the sales order. The purchase order price can also now be determined via the condition records.
    <b>Shipping Notification</b>
When the vendor has sent the material to the customer, they will normally send you a shipping notification, which, amongst other things, contains the exact quantity of material sent. You have the possibility to enter this shipping notification into the system in the form of a dummy goods receipt. It will be posted directly in consumption so that no stocks are created. The quantity of goods received then updates the quantity to be invoiced in the sales order. Therefore, it is possible to create the customer invoice before you receive the incoming invoice from the vendor.
    <b>Billing Documents</b>
The billing documents are created on the basis of the order. <i><u>Since the vendor might not deliver the exact quantity ordered, quantity adjustment takes place via the shipping notification.</u></i>
    <b>Vendor Invoice Verification</b>
The vendor invoice verification can take place after billing. <i><u>The variance in purchasing can be updated in Controlling using retroactive billing.</u></i>
    <b>Controlling</b>
The revenue and costs will be posted to CO-PA using the billing document.
    Regards,
    Naveen.
