Being the cheap ass I am.. I said, "sure why not"! Ended up with their World Mastercard cash rewards card $7000 limit. And also saved over $700 a year in Home and Auto insurance premiums! I'm a happy camper! Now back to the garden! That brings my total CL to $73600. May 26, 2015 my CL was $2600. I've raised it $71,000 in 6 weeks.

Bought Lightroom upgrade version in error. Thought I was buying the full version. [was: Adobe took 80 bucks from me. I need it back.]

After I used it for 30 days, I then Clicked the 'buy' button followed the steps, payed for the product, claimed the serial number, plugged in the number for the product, and then it presents me with a screen that says i only bought the upgrade and I need my original serial number. Why did it do this. I just paid for and upgrade to a product I never had. And the website never told me that I was buying an upgrade. I followed the steps and they practically took 85 bucks from me. How do I fix this? and why did they do this too

It probably did but it was not made clear enough to you.
The default buying option on most screens (exact screens vary) is the Upgrade version. Unfortunately this subtlety catches many newbies out.

The TEC (Total Equipment Coverage) through Verizon (the actualy insurer is Asurion) does nothing for the phone support, extends the warranty for as long as you keep the phone (free overnight shipping for replacments) and gives you two incidents of replacing a lost OR stolen phone. The deductible varies based on the capacity of the phone. Apple Care+ is a one time fee, TEC is a montly fee of, I believe, $9.99. So, there are pluses and minuses.

If you have the chance stop by an Apple Retail store and talk to them about it...they often work deals for replacement of out of warranty non-working items for prices around half price. Won't hurt to stop by and see what they will do for you.

Thought I was doing the right thing...Protecting my phone

New to the forum. I didn't see this on here already. Bought the new Z10 learned from my past experiences, so I bought the blackberry hard shell case. Aafter not even a month of using the case. I now have a line in the display. the case has two sections on the front that fold nicely into a stand. But where the fold happens there is a line forming in the display its not dirt its actually in the display. like something is wrong with the pixels extremely visible on a white screen. This is a "BLACKBERRY MADE" case and its screwed my display. Contacted my carrier, my carrier told me to contact blackberry. I can't find a way of contacting them in their support section. Does anyone know of a way of fixing this? Or how I can get in touch with someone at blackberry?

The only way you're going to get through to BlackBerry without paying an incident fee is by going through Rogers. Rogers is contracted to support your device and if they cannot, they're to escalate your issue to BlackBerry. Even if it's the case that caused this and perhaps not the phone itself, your phone is new and it's having an issue which Rogers cannot fix so call them and ask them to escalate your issue to BlackBerry.

iWeb and iDVD have been discontinued by Apple. This is evidenced by the fact that new Macs are shipping with iLife 11 installed but without iWeb and iDVD.
On June 30, 2012 MobileMe will be shutdown. HOWEVER, iWeb will still continue to work but without the following:
Features No Longer Available Once MobileMe is Discontinued:
◼ Password protection
◼ Blog and photo comments
◼ Blog search
◼ Hit counter
◼ MobileMe Gallery
All of these features can be replaced with 3rd party options.
Currently if the site is published directly from iWeb to the 3rd party server the RSS feed and slideshow subscription features will work. However, if the site is first published to a folder on the hard drive and then uploaded to the sever with a 3rd party FTP client those two features will be broken.
There's another problem and that's with iWeb's popup slideshows. Once the MMe servers are no longer online the popup slideshow buttons will not display their images.

However, Roddy McKay and I have figured out a way to modify existing sites with those slideshows and iWeb itself so that those images will display as expected once MobileMe servers are gone. I bought an ipad the other day wich was in recovery mode, I took it to the police as I thought it was stolen, they returned it back to me today as it was legitimate yet I cant contact the previous owner to get him to unlock it?

I Lost all my photos in iPhoto by upgrading and clicking on the wrong Library when restarting.... I also deleted iLibrary on accident because I thought it was just a pointless Logo in my Pictures folder! How do I get them Back?!!

I was trying to clean up my computer and put things on my exteranl hard drive and then delete the items off my computer. When I was going through the pictures I saw a file named "iLibrary" and just saw a little picture for it, so I deleted that as well..... Later on, when I was trying to show my events in the Finder There was a problem and no pictures were showing up, just empty Events. So I went to the dock and quit iPhoto. When I re-clicked it to open again iPhoto asked me if I wanted to upgrade iPhoto, So I clicked yes, then hesitated. "What if all my pictures get deleted' I thought. Then it asked me where I wanted to re-open from and I just click open to the Library that was the 'default'. It was also the ONLY option to click! When it opened I didn't have any of my photos any more. Just a couple events it had selected from my external hard drive!!! I heard I could recover all my photos by going to the Finder and clicking on Pictures then right clicking on iLibrary then go to "Show Package Contents". Unfortunently like I mentioned earlier I had just previously DELETED that!!! It doesn't end there either, just to make matters worse, I "Emptied" the TRASH CAN TOO!! Now what do I do?? I just had a baby 8 weeks ago and ALL ALL ALL the pictures were on there! I was starting to save them to my external hard drive when all this happened! Someone PLEASE help me!!

If not you're into using file recovery software like File Salvage - you can download a free trial and it will scan the disk for you and tell you with might be recoverable. Actual recovery will require that you purchase the app. There may be many files with the same or similar names. Always recover the largest file size.
There are other such apps. Search on Macupdate or the App Store

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.

Yeah that works, but, it involves a click on the event, a click on edit, a click on the date, keystrokes, plus, since you can't see the next month you have to have a calendar in front of you so as to put it to the right date. It's easier just to cut it and advance the month and paste it, once you are in the right month you can move it around helter skelter willy nilly no problems. Although now that you mention it I will try it, maybe it is easier than cut and paste as I don't really care about the date, as long as it gets moved into the right month I can drag it around all I want.

- Select the content (rectangle,text etc) and click on hyperlink dropdown > it should show you the added files list
