Uh Oh

Own a PC and Mac. Set up my Ipod Video on the PC. Accidentally said yes to update my Ipod on the Mac. So, installed Mac software ontop of the Windows formatted Ipod. My guess is that it was a partial install. Now all I get is very low battery notice and neither itunes recognizes the ipod. Tried the R's but without any recognition from the iTunes I can't restore.
Suggestions?

Three weeks out of warrantee? YIKES they should've given you another iPod.
Why?
The warranty has expired. Doesn't matter if it's one day out, or 5 months out... the warranty period had lapsed.
because THEIR software screws up THEIR product???
The iPod was being used in an unsupported way.
While Windows-formatted iPods do function on a Mac using Mac OS X, this is not supported by Apple.
