Uhhhhh.....Where is my watermark?!?!

I am in the process of editing over 400 photo's I have shot over the past weekend. And everytime I go to export them either 1 photo at a time or multiples at a time my water mark is not being put on the photo's. This is bad. I looked it up here on Adobe and it said to make sure that I am up to date as far as updates. I am currently running Lightroom 3.4.1 , and Camera Raw 6.4.1. I need to be able to put the water mark on these. Can some one please tell me what the heck I am doing wrong or what I need to do get my watermarks back on my photo's. I have people waiting for these photo's.

The original one I started with was informal roman. But then I switched to Brush Script MT. I did just find one that is going to work for now. But I really want to use the informal roman. But I am seeing that blackadder itc is working. So I guess I will use that for now. But I guess this still doesn't solve or answer the questions. Why is it now all of a sudden is informal roman not able to be used?
Really disappointed!

LR5 Watermarks presets saved but linked png signature file lost...

I work recording the lightroom settings/presets in library folder rather than in the os user settings.
I switched from PC (7) to Mac (Mavericks) and I could open my catalogs on mac keeping the majority of my settings and preferences. Except for watermarks: I had 5 watermarks presets with png signature file, they are still listed as watermarks presets, the settings are retained but the graphics signature file in PNG watermarks disappeared. Some of the png were outside watermark's presets folder, some were inside, result is the same, all disappeared.
I think I can not recover them and will have to do them again, that's not a so big problem, but to avoid this in the future, what do you advise me to keep the watermark PNG files stored with the settings info?

I tried to save a new watermark preset, i have my .lrtemplate new file in "Watermarks" preset folder, but linked png is still not copied in the catalog presets folder, and nothing new appears in the folder you indicate, on mine i just have "Library>Application Support>Adobe>Lightroom", but no "Watermark Sources"
So i also tried to create this "Watermark Sources" folder and copy my pngs files inside, reload lightroom, open an old catalog where i had watermark presets; the pngs still not appear.
I have to leave but still open to any other ideas : )

Bug Report for 5.3: Export to disk of .psd -- .jpg, LR fails to put visual watermark on image

An export of .psd (works for raw and TIF) files with conversion to JPG where a visual watermark file is specified fails for .psd files.

You should report this bug on http://feedback.photoshop.com , this is just an user forum and there is no guarantee that a member of QA/PM/Engineering will see this report;
Nevertheless, I tried to do reproduce it, and I had no issues at all.
Please report the problem using the URL above and supply a sample file and as much technical info as you can.

Where are all of LR5 custom settings saved on a PC, i.e, Export Presets & Watermarks?

I need to reload my entire system, and don't want to have to start fresh with LR5. I would like to import all of my existing settings.
I have all my photos and catalogues backed up, but not sure about LR5 customisation settings.

Go to Edit>Preferences>Presets>Show Lightroom Presets Folder.
These folders are usually (see below) actually in the same folder called 'Lightroom' where your catalog lives.
If you back up the entire 'Lightroom' folder they should be there unless you have elected to put the folder elsewhere.
Either way 'Show Lightroom Presets Folder' takes one there.
You can copy and back it up seperately or as part of the greater 'ightroom folder' back up.

Watermark (Where is it?)

After export my photos as you know the window appear and you can change somethings like quality or size of photo. There is a watermark choise but how can I set my watermark in here? It was just radiobutton.

The watermarking option are right at the bottom of the Export dialog. Scroll down to find them.
However there are bug reported http://forums.adobe.com/thread/698811?tstart=0. When you use the "limit file size" option for jpegs, LR seems to forget to add an watermark.

Where did the FAQs go - especially the one about Watermarks?

I see that in the transition the FAQs were lost
Is there anything on how to remove the watermark from using the trial version once the full version is installed?

The FAQ's seem to be MIA. In some of the fora, a few survived, and in some others, the MOD's have been able to reconstruct some. I think that Steve is working on that project here.
It was my understanding that the Watermarks disappeared from the Project (obviously not from an Exported, or Burned file), as soon as the registration # was plugged in for the "paid version." Maybe I'm totally wrong, but old threads, when I read them, seemed to indicate that was the case.
Is this not happening? And, I am assuming that this relates to the PE Watermark, and not to something from NuBlue, or Hollywood FX.

Hi,
     Specify the name of the graphic as well as its description (object and ID). The default values are GRAPHICS and BMAP. The F4 help allows you to view which graphics are available in the system.
     Determine whether it is a black and white picture or a color picture.
     Hint: You can also select the background picture dynamically by entering fields instead of static names which must have a value assigned to them at runtime. Of course, this procedure is not suitable for redrawing templates since you need the preview in the Form Painter for such a task.
     Under Output attributes, you can specify the resolution in dpi (dots per inch). The smaller the value, the larger the graphic is displayed in the form. If you leave the field blank or enter 000, the default setting of the graphic is used.
     The output mode allows you to determine whether the background picture should only be displayed in the Form Builder (which makes sense if you redraw a scanned form that you do not want to print) or whether the picture should be included in the actual form processing process. You can choose between Print preview or Print preview and print. Nevertheless, you can still decide from within the print preview (before the request is sent to the spool) whether you want to print the background picture or not.
     You must also determine the horizontal and the vertical position of the background picture with regard to the page border.
     Update the preview of the Form Painter by choosing Enter on the maintenance screen

Text watermark opacity different in print module

In the print module of both lr4.1 & lr3.6 I find that the print module changes the opacity of a text watermark (to less, by about 20-30%) than what it is in the library & develop modules. Is this some kind of operator error or is it a bug (or feature? )in lr? If operator error, how to fix? OS for 3.6 is MacOSX 10.6.8 & for 4.1, 10.7.4. Documentation pointer(s) are quite welcome. As it may not make the final release, and we wouldn't want the request to get lost in beta land, might I suggest adding it as a suggestion on the Feature Request forum http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family where it can easily be tracked? If you post the link to your request here, others can also vote on your request. If you search there, you may even find similar requests that you might like to add your vote to.

How to print watermark in adobe forms

Hi Experts,
I have one requirement where i need to print watermark on PDF invoice outputs. I am using adobe forms to print invoice.
I am not sure whether logo needs to be used for printing watermark or text.? And please let me kow the procedure to use this in adobeforms.

Hii,
Try to add one more field for text field for each line item and make sure use a flag .
if the flag is true then make it visible use the below JavaScript code to hide a particular field.
his script will hide the field in runtime if it is initial.
hidden or presence make sure use the conditions as per the require to hide the text or to make it visible
Enter the below JavaScript in the editor & Select the language as JavaScript.
if(this.rawValue == null)
this.presence = "hidden";

PDF Watermark - logo image is not displayed in ibr converted pdf

Hi
I have enabled pdf watermark administration and configured image watermark with rule, if the content type is document then the image watermark is to be applied but it is not displayed to the converted word document to pdf by IBR.
If i change image watermark layer to "over", then image watermark is displayed, but word are displayed under the logo image watermark, so it is difficult to study the document.
If the native file is pdf, then its image watermark is working fine.

Hi ,
I think this could be caused by the following :
Check the factor set for Transparency and if it is completely opaque (Transparency =0%) then the converted PDF's will not show watermarks which has Layer set to UNDER.
To get the watermarks displayed PPT's will need to be set to Transparency = 100% .
The intention of the UNDER watermarking layer is that it should appear"behind" whatever is in the content layer.If the content layer completely covers the page and is opaque, then nothing behind it will be visible,including watermarks.The only reasonable solution is to check the above mentioned value before submitting the PPT's for conversion so that users are aware of this behavior for PPT's
The above description if for PPT's where in this was found to be caused by the transparency factor of native PPT . If it is a word document then check for the same setting and set to 100% , then test .

Watermarks in Aperture not working for me

I am having an odd problem with Aperture watermarks through the export presets.
When I select "choose image" button after selecting the watermark check box, then select my watermark (which I have tried PSD's, JPEGS, Tiffs with transparent backgrounds, and just about every other format) it does not show up in the little viewer window. The only way that I can get it to show up is to drag my PSD or Tiff files from the finder into the box, where at that time they actually show up.
However, upon changing the Opacity, the watermark that has been dragged into the box from finder promptly disappears. Not good.
When I do not fiddle with the opacity bar and just click OK then try and export, the images come out without any watermark. But all the settings are the same as I left them, just the box is empty, just like when I change the opacity.
I have read about people having problems with aperture 1.5 concerning watermarks, but I am running 2.1.3 and have not run into any people saying that they have problems.
The PSD/tiff files that I am try to import are 5000 pixels long and 500 pixels wide or 10000 long and 1000 high. Big, I know, but I select scales down so it should be no problem, especially when shooting on the 5DII or D3x I can still use these watermarks without having to create new ones just for the bigger guns.
Is this a bug or a problems only I am having?
Should I re-install?
Or just deal with not getting to watermark my images.

1) Select all/any mutually overlapping bone parts and Pathfinder>Unite,
2) Select all the bone parts and Object>Compound Path>Make,
3) Select everything and Object>Clipping Mask>Make?

Where do we write statements?

I am new to XMLP. What is the prerequisite knowledge to build a report in XMLP? I don’t know anything about XML. Do we need XML knowledge? Because when I read user guide or some articles I get confused with the terminology.
I am building Pick and PO reports
1. User wants to move the address3 to one row up, if there is no data in address2 and so on. Basically they don’t want to see the blank space between the address lines and city, state, zip.
I read in user guide (2-72) we can do this checking Null values. But my question is where do we write these statements? Like If …else...statements or xdofo/xdoxslt
2. For the watermark, I read the PDF doc merge. Where do we write this code?

I think the best thing to do is to have a look at some of Tim Dexters examples and slide shows on the XML Publisher website. Then take a look at his blog. You need to get a good foundation knowledge of the following technologies:

Is it possible with Adobe Acrobat to create a PDF that has multiple usernames/passwors for read access and individualised watermarks or with any other adobe product?

We're looking for a solution where a PDF can be created and distributed to multiple people - each with their own username/password to open - and also when opened created a user based water mark on the document. Is this something that can be done inside Acrobat Pro or is there a higher end product that does this?

If the list of people who and only who you want to be able to open this PDF is predefined, then you can use Certificate Encryption in Acrobat. For this method to work each of possible recipients of the encrypted PDF needs to procure a digital certificate with a private key enabled for encryption and send you the public key version of this certificate. Then you encrypt this PDF with public key certificates (there may be many of them) of all recipients you want to be able to open this PDF. Then you distribute this PDF to all recipients and each of them can then open this PDF with their private key certificates.
You can also create PDFs with Optional Content which contains different watermarks with the selector for a watermark based on user ID or some other identification of the user. I do not know, though how to create such Optional Content using just Acrobat Pro. You may need to write a plugin to Acrobat to do that.

Is there a way to create a jpeg of a video inserting the "play" watermark?

I would like to create a jpeg of a clip in a video that I have created in iMovie and have that clip have a "play" watermark on it.... so then I can insert it in an email and have it link to where I have the video stored.
Let me know if you know if this can be done in iMovie or some other software.
