UIButton with the same style of default UIAlertView button
Is there a way to get the same style of standard UIAlertView buttons.
I've tried to add an UIThreePartButton (the private class of buttons used in UIAlertView) but it does not work. The result still:

Thank you
You're going about it the wrong way.
A button component doesn't have a "click" property, it dispatches a "click" event.
So what you need to do is assign an event handler to the button click event, just like you did for the VideoDisplay instances.
What you can do is store a reference to the selected VideoDisplay (which is why I mention in your previous thread you don't need the id at all) and use that when a button is clicked.
private var selectedVideo:VideoDisplay = video1;
private function activateControls(event:MouseEvent):void {
selectedVideo = event.currentTarget as VideoDisplay;
private function playClickHandler(event:MouseEvent):void {
selectedVideo.play();
private function pauseClickHandler(event:MouseEvent):void {
selectedVideo.pause();
etc..
<mx:Button id="play_button" height="40" label="PLAY" click="playClickHandler(event);>
<mx:Button id="pause_button" height="40" label="PAUSE" click="pauseClickHandler(event);" />
<mx:Button id="stop_button" height="40" label="STOP" click="stopClickHandler(event);" />
Alternativly, you could use the selectedVideo in mxml, but that's usually not a good idea.
<mx:Button id="play_button" height="40" label="PLAY" click="selectedVideo.play();>
For instance, in this case, you probably want to stop all other videos before playing the selected one, or some other stuff may need to be done. That can easily be done in the button click event handler.
As a sidenote, you should look into using a different container than Canvas, for easier auto-layout.
A VBox might be better suited for displaying the VideoDisplay instances. No need for all the x, y positioning. Same goes for the Buttons, use an HBox container there.
Control the gaps and padding with verticalGap, horizontalGap, paddingLeft, paddingRight, paddingTop, paddingBottom of the containers, all of which can be set through CSS.

I wanted to create a photo album on dreamweaver with the same style as the ones in iWeb, does anyone know a site to do this or a way to transfer the album to dreamweaver?
Excellent suggestion! I regularly post in those forums too, so I thought I might offer help here, but http://forums.adobe.com/community/dreamweaver?view=discussions would be the best place for a Dreamweaver question.
Nancy O, Murray Summers or Mark Hollis there can be of plenty help. -
firefox plays video, but no sound. when I type about:plugins in location bar, it shows the firefox default plugin is not enabled. When I look at my plugins, it says it is enabled. I have uninstalled 3.6 and re-installed with the same result. Why do I have no sound. Computer plays I-tunes and all other sounds, just no web browser sounds.
Glad you seem to have sorted things out.
The warning about the warranty is light hearted, I think at one stage it warned "here be dragons" but also intended to make us think as it warns that making changes may produce problems. -
Using "Next style" with the same paragraph style for more than one paragraph
Hi.
I have been using paragraph styles with the "next style" option, it's a huge help. But I need a bit more. So I have the following paragraph structure: ABCCCABCCCAB...
I defined paragraph styles for each kind of paragraph, then in paragraph style A, I added paragraph style B as the next style, and so on. However, when I get to paragraph style C I reach a dilemma. Should I define the next style as the same, or define three paragraph C styles (C1, C2 and C3), link them to each other with next style, and then loop the C3 style into the A style again?
My hope is that there is a way, something like the nested style options, that allows me to define that style C should be used for 3 paragraphs and then the next style becomes style A again.
Thanks.You just need two styles, almost identical, you can duplicate one. The only
difference is one has the next paragraph c and one has the next paragraph
a. After that I don't see the problem. -
How do you remove an old conversation using the Beta iMessage on an iMac. When I open a new conversation with the same person the old conversation comes back
Hi,
Previously iChat had tried a Last Chat/IM option when using Saved Transcripts - which itself was an option.
iChat has also tried "Saving" the Last Chat by leaving a Chat window open and using something similar to the Lion method of showing an app in the state is was closed in.
In Messages the option to Save Transcripts has been removed and Chats or all types are saved as a matter of course.
What this tends to mean for your iChat style Buddy Chats is that it opens all the Transcripts for that buddy as a sort of History you can scroll back through if you want (I have some Buddies with saved chats gong back to 2004)
With the Syncing of iMessages with iPhones and iPads (or Touches) then it seems this works slightly differently.
Although you can delete the chat and the contents of the Chat as separate action it is true that in the Beta as soon as you connect to the same Contact that the contents of the previous chats are shown to you.
I have found that Messages stores a data base of info on iMessages in Your Home Folder/Library/Messages
I have found that deleting this chat-db removes the "History" that keep popping up.
By default the Saved "iChats" are also stored in the Home Folder/Documents/iChats (At least this is the default place iChat used and they go to the same iChats folder where ever you had it)
Some people claim removing iMessages saved here stops the "History" reappearing.
In Lion the only access to the Home Folder/Library is via the Finder's Go Menu and hiding down the ALT key

Here's the situation:
Upgrading a SharePoint Server 2010 Search Service Application dB to our SharePoint 2013 SP 1 development environment, using the Management Shell
Running the following commands:
$applicationPool= Get-SPServiceApplicationPool -Identity 'SearchService_AppPool'
$searchInst = Get-SPEnterpriseSearchServiceInstance -local
Restore-SPEnterpriseSearchServiceApplication -Name 'SearchServiceApplication' -applicationpool $applicationPool -databasename 'SearchServiceApplicationDB' -databaseserver SERVERNAME -AdminSearchServiceInstance $searchInst
Creates the search dBs (crawl, links, analytics) successfully; however, in the end, I get....
"Exception: Action 15.0.107.0 of Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Upgrade.SearchAdminDatabaseSequence failed."
Looking at the ULS logs, I find the following:
Inner Exception: An item with the same key has already been added.

Anyone encounter anything like this during their search upgrade process? I'm not honestly even sure what duplicate value to look for at this point, if I were to run a SELECT Id, ClassId, ParentId, Name, Status, Version, Properties FROM Objects on
"SharePoint_Config" in SSMS. Any insight or opinions on the matter are welcome; and thanks to those who choose to reply to this, in advance.Hi ,
You can enable the ULS log on verbose level (note, remember to reset to default level after finished troubleshooting) for more information per the following article, then check there should be more useful message for helping solve the issue.

I have a Problem with Romming Between SSIDs withing the same WLC but with deferent VLAN .
HI All,
I have a Problem with Romming Between SSIDs withing the same WLC but with deferent VLAN . the WLC are providing the HQ and one of the Branches the Wireless services .
Am using all the available 9 SSIDs at the HQ , and am using only 4 of it at the Brnche.
The problem that i have are happening only at the Branch office as i cant room between the SSIDs within Diferent VLANs but i can do it with the one that pointing to the same VLAN. Once the client ( Laptop/Phone ) connected to one of the SSIDs. it imposiible to have him connected to the other ones with Different VLAN. meanwhile, It says its connected to the other SSID but its not getting IP from that pool.
here is the Show Run-Config from my WLC .. and the Problem happening between the SSID AMOBILE and ASTAFF. i have the Debug while am switching between the SSIDs if needed .

In this mode, the clients are still remembers on the WLC until the session timer/idle timer expires. So switching between SSID's in h-reap will not be the same when switching when the AP's are in local mode.
Take a look at the client when connected in FlexConnect in the WLC GUI monitor tab. Thus will show you what ssid and vlan the client is on. Now switch to a different ssid and compare this. It's probably the same because the client has not timed out. Now go back to the other ssid and look again. Now on the WLC, remove or delete the client and then switch to the other ssid at the same time. Or switch SSID's and then remove the client. The client will join the new ssid and in the monitor tab, you should see the info.
There is no need to have clients have multiple SSID's unless your testing. Devices should only have one ssid profile configured to eliminate any connectivity issues from the device wanting to switch SSID's.

I have an iPhone 5s running iOS8 and an iPad, up to date. I have recently changed my mail server but not my email address. My "old" mail account is an Exchange account and I have also set up a "new" Exchange account with the same address but with the new mail server details. When I receive outside, third party emails they are routed correctly to the "new" Exchange account but when I bcc myself or receive other emails from any account with my domain name the emails are routed to my "old" Exchange account. I have changed the default account settings to the "new" Exchange account. Also, if I send myself an email from my laptop, through the new mail service provider, it is routed correctly on my laptop but incorrectly on my iPhone and iPad. It appears as though the Apple products have cached my email address and routing and won't look to pick up the new mail server details. I don't see anything in the mail account settings or contacts that allows me to refresh or clear the cache. The result is I now have mail in 2 accounts. If I can get the misdirected mail from the odl account to the new one I will then make the old account inactive. Anyone have any ideas on this one?
Thanks in advance for your time and ideas,
DAACan you set up a rule in your old account to forward mail to your new account and then delete it from the old account?

How do you organize multiple mailboxes for each accepted domain with the same local part?
Let's say we are aceppting emails for the two domains wine-and-cheese.com and beer-and-pretzels.com.
I plan to create two mailboxes [email protected] and [email protected]
By default, the local part of the SMTP address uses the alias, which is the same as the sAMAccountName. Since I cannot have two AD users with the same sAMAccountName, I choose to name them "info-wine" and "info-beer". The result is, that
I have two mailboxes with the address [email protected] and [email protected], respectively.
One thing I could think of would be to manually add [email protected] and [email protected] to the corresponding mailboxes. I prefer to avoid anything that has to be done manually.
Another idea, that involves manual editing is, to change the aliases of both mailboxes to "info", but that results in having the second mailbox create the SMTP address info2@….
I am very interested how you handle those situations, particularly in bigger companies with more than 50 employees and 75 mailboxes.Hi ,
Alright , based on my knowledge i have given some points please have a look in to this.
Step 1 :
Please create the first user account on AD in the below format.
info as the first name in AD
wine as the last name in AD
Then please create the second user account on the AD in the below format.
info as the first name in AD
beer as the last name in AD
Step 2 :
Then you need to have the email address policy with the custom type attribute which should apply the email address based upon the first name.So that all the email address will have the first name (i.e ) "info" on the prefix.
Custom type attribute should have to be like
%[email protected]
%[email protected]
%[email protected]
%[email protected]
Note : The custom type attribute which is created first will be the primary address for all those mailboxes.In the above example
@wine.com will be the primary smtp address for those mailboxes .In case if you want some set of mailboxes need to have the suffix @wine.com as the primary smtp address and some set of mailboxes to have the suffix @beer.com as the primary smtp
address then you need to create the separate email address policy with rules.

Two groups with the same name in File and LDAP realms
Hi,
I configured WLS 6.0 SP1 to use an LDAP caching realm
as default one. In the LDAP server (Netscape Directory)
I have a group called Administrators. There is a group
with the same name in WLS own File Realm. When I click
on the Groups menu item in the administration console
I only get the Administrators group from the File Realm
listed. Is that expected? What will happen if I protect
a resource ti the Administrators group? Which one will
prevail - the one from the LDAP or the one from File
Realm? Or maybe the two will be merged?

SwedenHi
First of all I want to know that where you created your class, In SE24 or in any programm.
if in SE24, then go to se24 open that class go to methods tab and check if that method name accurs at two places, if not, then
click on that method and check the code.
or if in a program.
then you must have defined like
class <class name> definition.
public section
method <method name>
endclass.
class <class name> implementation.
method <method name>
code for that method.
endclass.
It might be possible you have set the implementation part twice for that particular method, So please check and delete one implementation for that method.
Thanks

Can I have two LANs with the same IP route to each other
Hi there,
I have a customer who has a televantage voip network on a private 192.68.0.0/24 network but has two sites connected via a wireless tower that wants to enable QOS over between the two sites by using a 2621XM router at each end. I've enabled QOS on both routers for voice and video but haven't deployed this yet since I'm not sure if I need to change one of the sites networks to a different network number since I'll have the routes in place with a 192.168.1.0 on the WAN side. If both remote networks stay with the same number scheme of 192.168.0.0/24 will they be able to find each other when requesting where a remote 192.168.0.0 host is or do I need to change of the offices networks to a 192.168.2.0 network to make this work? Sounds kind of basic but before deploying I wanted to get some input...thanks.Routers cannot route unless the address blocks for each interface are different.
If you have two sites connected by any kind of link, and you'll use one site as a gateay to the Internet, then you'll need at least four different addresses/ blocks:
The 'b' site LAN, i.e., fa/0/0:192.168.0.0/24
The 'b' site WAN (interconnecting link), i.e., fa0/1: 192.168.1.1/30
The 'a' site WAN (interconnecting link), i.e., fa0/1:192.168.1.2/30
The 'a' side LAN, i.e., fa0/0:192.168.2.0/24
(assumes that your wireless link is acting as a bridge or non-routing link) - the fa0/1 device connects to the wireless devices).
If you use the same router on the 'a' side for the interconnecting link for both the 'a' LAN and the Internet gateway, then the third interface would be your Internet WAN address.
The 'b' side LAN interface is your 'b' side default gateway for you clients
The 'a' side LAN interface is the 'a' side default gateway for your clients
Set a default gateway on the 'a' router to the ISPs Default gateway / next hop address.
If you're using a third router for an Internet gateway, then the LAN interface address becomes the default gateway for the clients on that LAN, and you'll need to set up a static route pointing to the other LAN in the routers that connect the two LANs..
A routing protocol may be useful but, depending on your actual bandwidth available, it's probably better to just set up static routes (no routing protocol bandwidth utilization).
The /30 for the WAN link gives some economy of address usage, but it may also secure the link better, since there are no additional addresses for the intruder to use; they'd have to spoof one of the two valid addresses (.1 & .2) as well as crack your encryption (and / or other security).
There's an armload of other possible configurations / topologies / address schemes, I believe this one would be reasonably common.
The bottom line is that a router can only route from one address block to another. In order to pass traffic between two segments with the same address block, you need a bridge / switch, or some other layer one/two device (like a wireless transceiver pair).
Good Luck

Communication between two network with the same IP segment
Good Moorning:
How can establish communication between the production environment and test environment with the same IP segment using switch Cisco Nexus 5548?Carlos
The short answer is you can't as far as i know. You need to do NAT to able to do this and i don't think the Nexus switches support NAT.
You need a device that can NAT both address ranges. If prod is always the one that initiates the connection then you need static NAT translations for the test machines and you can dynamicaly NAT prod addresses as they go into the test env.
But if both prod and test can initiate connections then you need to have static NAT translations for both sides.
We used a pix firewall for this when we connected our prod and test environments. A firewall is a good choice because you can make the test enviornment the outside interface where all traffic is denied by default. You do not want test affecting prod.

How to display data with the same text and key in the drop down list?
Hi All,
Would like so to seek for you advice on the above mention topic. How to display the data with the same text and key using function module 'VRM_SET_VALUES'. From my testing by writing a program, this function module will only show the text and key if both have different data. Please find the coding as below. Is the normal behaviour of this function module? How to overcome this problem? Thanks in advance.

This surely seems to be a bug to me(if not by design), did you check for any SAP notes? Perhaps a front end trace can help(Note 407743) !
-Rajesh. -
Every time I open Address Book (Lion) it opens to the same vcard with the same name in the search field. How do I keep this from happening? I have tried deleting the vcard, deleting the plist, and importing/exporting my contact. However, the search field contents are alwyas the same - even if I delete the field, close, and re-open. Thanks.
Hi Romulus949,
You should take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[How to set the home page]].
There are steps in that article to reset your homepage preferences to default. I would try that first to clear out any strangeness. Then you can set your homepage to anything you like.
Hopefully this helps! -
RE: multiple named objects with the same name andinterface
David,
First I will start by saying that this can be done by using named anchored
objects and registering them yourself in the name service. There is
documentation on how to do this. And by default you will get most of the
behavior you desire. When you do a lookup in the name service (BindObject
method) it will first look in the local partition and see if there is a
local copy and give you that copy. By anchoring the object and manually
registering it in the name service you are programmatically creating your
own SO without defining it as such in the development environment. BTW in
response to your item number 1. This should be the case there as well. If
your "mobile" object is in the same partition where the service object he is
calling resides, you should get a handle to the local instance of the
service object.
Here is the catch, if you make a bind object call and there is no local copy
you will get a handle to a remote copy but you can not be sure which one!
It end ups as more or less a random selection. Off the top of my head and
without going to the doc, I am pretty sure that when you register an
anchored object you can not limit it's visibility to "User".

Subject: multiple named objects with the same name and interface
All,
More than once, I have wished that Forte allowed you to place named
objects with the same name in more than one partition. There are two
situations in which this seems desirable:
1) Objects that are not distributed, but are mobile (passed by value to
remote objects), cannot safely reference a Service Object unless it has
environment visibility, but this forces the overhead of a remote method
call when it might not otherwise be necessary. If it were possible to
place a copy of the same Service Object (with user visibility) in each
partition, the overhead of a remote method call could be avoided. This
would only be useful for a service object whose state could be safely
replicated.
2) My second scenario also involves mobile objects referencing a Service
Object, but this time I would like the behavior of the called Service
Object to differ with the partition from which it is called.
This could be accomplished by placing Service Objects with the same name
and the same interface in each partition, but varying the implementation
with the partition.
Does anyone have any thoughts about why this would be a good thing or a
bad thing?
