UILoader content gets smaller when coming back

Hello all,
I have several external loaded swf's in my website...
For example;
When in home and clicking to contact.
Then contact gets a little bit smaller.
When clicking back on home, home gets smaller... and so on...
if i repeat this process everything gets smaller and smaller...
How can i lock this size?'

You can chhose the backup when you would reset your device. In this case you would get the option, during the set up process, to choose your backup and restore your device from it.
(You can find a few information e.g. size and date of your backup in "Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage")

Photoshop Elements pic gets smaller when I drag to paper.

I assume that the "one sheet" which you reference is created via File>new>blank file.
Make the resolution in this dialog the same value as the resolution of the picture files.
Ideally, all 4 components (i.e. the canvas + 3 picture files) should have the same resolution.
You can check the resolution of the picture files via Image>resize>image size.
So, for example, if the pictures files have a resolution = 240px/in, make the blank file 240px/in, then copy/paste, or, drag the pictures from the photo bin to the work area.

Cache problem when coming back from external application

Let's see if I can explain this properly. We have an application consisting of a left menu with books and pages. Each page consists of one Struts portlet. In one case we direct the user to an external mail application. This is handled by the Struts action class setting some fields (identifier and a url to return to when closing the external application). Our action class forwards to a jsp page like this (where url, SESSION_KEY and LINKBACK_URL are populated by the action class)

The external application opens up in the same window and when the user closes it you're linked back to our application through the LINKBACK_URL. Now, when I click in the left menu as I did from the start all I see is a blank page (if I click once again it displays correctly) and if I press F5 I'm logged into the external application again so it seems the jsp page with the form is cached. I can in a way understand that it does but I don't want that so are there any way to get rid of this behaviour?

Why loosing sync when coming back from Sountrackpro to FC7?

Hello everybody...
I am having a problem that happens for the first time, never had it before. I finished a project in FC7 and then sent the audio to SountrackPro to work it.
Everything was fine but when importing the final mix, the track was shorter by a number of frames than the lenght of the project, which makes sync to be lost.
My native setup work is in 25fps. My guess is that somehow something in the preferences or some setup has been changed. I checked in FC7 and my timeline settings and the system are at 25fps non-drop. Also checked in Soundtrack and I have the same settings, but somehow in the process everything gets screwed. I think is Soundtrack thats is messing it but I am not sure anymore.... Any ideas please?

Hi Nexus_9, I've had this very same problem for some time now. No matter how I exported via FCP7 it would always loose sync going through STP. By accident I opened up a new project with a new sequence and voila! it didn't happen on that project. I went back to my standard project template and it did it again. Something had to go screwy on the old template and there was no fix. Now I have no problem. I can't tell you what was wrong, but I know it works fine once I started with a new project file and sequence. To save all of your already precious time, just copy everything from your old sequence into the new sequence and it should all work out okay.

How do you turn off audio when coming back to a branched slide?

I have audio on a slide (like the main menu) and I want the learners to return to this slide when they get to the end of a section. However, I don't want the audio to replay. I tried creating an advanced interaction to stop the triggered audio but that isn't working. Does anyone have another approach for making this happen?

Is this audio attached to the slide, then there is no way to stop the audio when you enter the slide a second time. The statement 'Stop triggered audio' - which tells me that you are using CP6 - will only stop audio that has been started with 'Play audio'. Both are new statements. Do not add the audio to the slide, but create this condtional action to be triggered on entering that slide:

Problems using the phone when coming back from abroad

I have a problem with my phone -- I live in Denmark. When I travel abroad, my iphone phone works fine. But then when RETURNING to Denmark, it doesn't work. I cannot call out, cannot receive calls. It has happened several times in the last months. Usually it works again after some hours, or lastly a day or longer. This is really irritating. How to prevent this? How to handle it when it happens?

If you tried with two different Sim card and still have the problem. I would advice you to simply reset the settings. That way you don't loose your medias.
a. connect your iPhone to iTunes.
b. Right click on it when it shows up on iTunes and choose back-up
c. Right click on it and make sure you transfered all purchase items
d. Take your iPhone, go on settings, general, reset all settings.
e. follow the directions
f. choose restore from back up when it ask you
g. connect to iTunes
h. right click on it and choose restore from backup.
i. choose the back-up you had done earlier
j. You should be good with your newly restored iPhone
But honestly... I really doubt that the problem is the phone. You should try with the sim card of another carrier.

Iphone 4 don't reconect automatically to 3G net when coming back from a no signal issue

I live in Sao Paulo - Brasil and since last week I am facing a strange behaviour of my iphone. When for some reason I lost the mobile signal, it doesn't recover the 3G signal automatically when the signal is back. I need to restart the device or reset the net configuration to recover the 3G or Edge conection. As I could realize by doing a research on the internet more people with different services providers are facing the same issue. Is this some kind of bug of ios? Is anybody face similar issue in a diiferent location?

Linked picture gets smaller than its original size when it's copy-pasted.

This confuses me because some does and some doesn't. A picture always gets smaller when I copy-paste from Mspaint. And some pictures does this too when I just copy-paste itself. So, I need to adjust size manually and it really bothers me, is there any solution for this?

Some application disply images pixel by pixel, that is: one pixel in the image is one pixel on the monitor. Illustrator uses the image's resolution to display it.

Changing color label of edits coming back from photoshop

I am currently using lightroom 3.2 RC. The issue is when sending a raw file out to photoshop then at the conclusion of editing as the file arrives back to lightroom, it now keeps it original color label (yeah), but if I now attempt to change it's color label from one color to another that I use to denote a completed PSD file, the file losses it color label completely and ends up without a color label at all (similar to what use to happen in 3.0), and I have to go find it and relabel it again.

I only have PSE8 and not Photoshop, but I cannot reproduce this behaviour by externally editing a Raw file in PSE8 from LR. When using PSE, you have to have LR render the PSD on the way to PSE already, which is a difference to Photoshop.
What technique are you using to assign the new color label when coming back from PS (keyboard shortcur, Metadata panel, ...)?

Retrieving the previous session fater coming back from a different appserv

Currently I am in Application1 with session1 -now i went to Application2(different app server than application1) with session2 ....now i want to come back to Application1 with previous session i.e session1.is it possible to retrieve the old session using urlrewriting?? if yes then how??

Hmm,
I don't think so, with URL re-writing. The reason is because application2 would need to do the re-writing, and so would need to know the JSESSIONID of session1, which presumably it wouldn't know.
Options, I guess, would be to pass the JSESSIONID for session1 to application2, which stores it, then uses it to re-write the URL when coming back to application1. Or you could add a persistant cookie that stores the JSESSIONID from session1, then when you enter into application one, check for the cookie, and re-use the same session. You would want to double check your session timeout however, because the session may die if the user is in application2 for too long.

Settings>Store>Your Apple ID - tap the ID and then sign out.
I only have one app in the Newsstand folder - the Sports Illustrated app. I have never gotten this message about connecting to iTunes so I'm not sure what that is all about. I would quit the Newsstand app and the other apps and the restart the iPad and see of that helps.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesnt work, reset the iPad. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
