UIManager and Jpanel back ground on metal LnF

Hi
what wold be the property to change the back ground of all JPanels to lets say Color.WHITE
UIManager.put("what value",Color.white);also where would i be able to fine a list of the standard properties that the Metal LnF has? for colors?

UIManager background color JPanel
i am ASSUMING it is UIManger.put("Panel.background",Color.WHITE);
but how can i be sure? for other values? there must be some documentation?
but i wanted to know where i could find a list of all of these "string values"
i did search the forum only found

UIManager.put("Label.background", Color.WHITE);but i would really more then just finding this ONE answer i would like to know where i can go and look them up for my self?

How to centre down state image and fix back ground to a plain colour

hi please view this website with internet explorer , windows XP. viewers see a down state image that I set but its not centred and also sits over the navigation. I had screen cover on the background image, so this does not look correct either in non html5 compliant browsers.

I would like to specify in the down state that there is just a plain colour background rather than an ill fitting image.

This effect can only be achieved when you use the images as a Rectangle Fill. And as you mentioned it above, you cannot add alternative text to images because it is added as a fill and not as a image.

It's simple, If you kill them your instance crashes.

SMARTFORMS - White letters on black back ground

I am creating a smartform that has white text and black back ground. In print preview it looks perfect but when I send the form to the printer the white letters do not appear, it is all black. I did a print screen when it was in print preview mode and it printed fine on the printer, white letters on black back ground. What am I missing to get it to print via smartforms, something in the CALL FUNCTION?

Welcome to SDN.
Nothing is wrong with you print program.
Just need to change your Printer . As the normal printer can print only black letters.
You need to get a colour printer to get the desired result.

With that behavior you need to take the iPhone to an Apple store genius bar for an out-of-warranty replacement. In the US that is $269 for the iPhone 5.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer

Back ground processes, dialogue processes and Process chains

Hai all,
I am going through making process chains and I am struck with one thing:
"How many background process chains and dialogue processes you have during run time"
This is the problem. I understood everything else except this.The concept says that I have to know what is the capacity of the system, how many background and dialogue processes it could accomodate, how many are left and how many you can use for your process chain.How do we find out this? and could somebody please explain me or refer to documentation about the Back ground processes, dialogue processes and Process chains.

Hi Visu,
You can see the number of dialog and background processes by using transaction SM51 and then double clicking on the server (we only have one but it may be different for each). Our BASIS folks take care of the number of processes as well. And, for us we have a schedule that changes the number at a certain time of day because you tend to need more dialog during the day but more batch at night.
The transaction to look at and change the settings is RZ03. Then use the menu path Edit->Operation Modes you can select either Configuration or Timetable here. Both give information in different ways. I tend to double click around to see what it might tell me.

On the report screen, press F9 (or program -> execute in background). Give the printer name and to send to spooler or print immediately option in the initial screen. Press OK.
Then, give the start time (options will appear) and click on "Save" button.
Now, to see the status of the job, go to SM37.and execute by your username. Here you can see the job status, spool etc.

What is the diffarence between call function in back ground task and call function in update task? Can we do the same functionality by using any one of the above function?

Calling a FM in background task will call FM in background work process as tRFC while calling in update task will call the FM in update work process. The update task will be executed after COMMIT WORK statement. The tRFC FM are will be no. of times (BASIS Settings) till the process executes correctly.

Hey appollus,
Do you get these lines only when printing with ePrint? If not, it sounds like a printhead issue. Here are the steps to fix the issue.
1. Go to the setup menu on the printers front screen.
2. Go to tools.
3. Go to clean printhead
You may need to do this a few times to completely remove the lines in the print.
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

Hello out there.
Like a lot of amateur editors I am looking for a web site to download free instrumental back ground music for my projects.
I am looking for acoustic guitar, drum-n-bass, and also a few sound effects.
If you have used or know of any sites please let me know.
I am starting a project, so it's nothing I need in a hurry.
I don't add any music until the last.
Then I don't have to keep repositioning it on the time line as I make edits and cuts.
