UIX breadCrumbs : How to render the last crumb

Hi,
Consider:
<location>
  <breadCrumbs>
    <contents >
      <link text="1" destination="1"/>
      <link text="2" destination="1"/>
      <link text="3" destination="1"/>
    </contents>
  </breadCrumbs>
</location>Question: Why is my last breadCrumb not rendered in blaf?
Ie, what I see in the browser, is:
1  >    2  >  ...whereas I would expect:
1  >    2  >  3In a previous release of UIX this worked fine.... Anybody?

I figured out a dirty workaround, but I must be missing something obvious here. Who has got breadCrumbs working in uix_2_1_7 ?
Workaround:
<breadCrumbs rendered="${cqj2ee:data().RENDERINFO_KEY.renderBreadCrumbs}">
  <contents>
    <dataScope>
      <contents childData="${cqj2ee:data().pageDataObjects.BREADCRUMB_KEY}">
        <link text="${uix.current.text}" onClick="${uix.current.destination}" disabled="${uix.current.disabled}" />
      </contents>
    </dataScope>
    <link text=" " destination=" "/>
  </contents>
</breadCrumbs>Because I added a final dummy link to the list, this will render something like:
" firstCrumb > secondCrumb > thirdCrumb > "
Note:
- Added a final, empte link in order to let the forelast link render.
- because my last DataObject returns "true" for "disabled", it renders as plain text.
- I am still seeing the trailing ">"
I cannot imagine I am on the right track. Anybody help me?
