UK Skype Number - no need for country code?

Hi
Just bought a UK Skype Number here in Oz.
Just double checking that for family in the UK, they just need to enter the 11 digit Skype number, not the UK country code as well- because it is an online number (eg. 0113 not +44 113 etc)??
Dont want to send the number out there incorrectly or give them uneccessarily long number to dial!

Skype Number with a different Area Code

Good afternoon Ladies and Gents.
I'm from Brazil, and today I tried to create a Skype Number, because I work offshore, and on the Rig, it is not possible to call numbers with different area codes.
My question is:
I'm from Rio de Janeiro(Area Code 21), but I would need a number from Macaé (Macaé is a city of Rio de Janeiro state), and its code is 22, but I have no option to choose another area code, because 21 is only for Rio de Janeiro city, and I have to select Rio de Janeiro(state), but cannot select the area code. Is it possible to create a number with the Macaé area code (something like +55 22 4002-6663)?

Yes the Skype number is attached to your account no matter what calling subscription you have.
You can stop your UK subscrition and buy the European subscription, maybe even buy the Euro subscription before the UK one runs out if you can't wait.
Skype can recognise multiple subscriptions and charge the call accordingly.

I need to change some code within the GET_QUERY_RESULT Method, which is found:
BSP->Z_CRM_IC
View->AuiSearch
Controller class ZL_CRM_IC_AuiSearch_impl
Method do_handle_event
Method eh_onsearch
Method get_query_result
At present the method get_query_result belongs to class CL_CRM_AUI_QUERY_SERVICE.
I can create a subclass from this and call it ZL_CRM_AUI_QUERY_SERVIC, then redefine the method get_query_class, and then make the appropriate changes. But that may be all uneccessary. What I don't know is how to ensure this modified code can be called.
I have already made changes for method DO_INIT_CONTEXT, hence the reason the controller class ZL_CRM_IC_AUISEARCH_IMPL is identified. But this was simple because the view linked directly to this whereas you can see the code I need to change is further down in process chain.
I know that method get_query_result calls a number of BADI's, but these BADI's are too low for the information that I need and therfore really need to make my code changes in the get_query_result method.
I have been reading as much as I can on this subject, but without much success and therefore really count on experienced developers like yourselves to steer me in the right direction, or give advice.

I will not suggest to put your Enhancements into CL_CRM_AUI_QUERY_SERVICE.
Rather in Component BT -> Class CL_CRM_BTIL . AUi Query Service will Internally call the BOL Component ( get query result )
In your Framework Profile Config , you specify the Component Set . Ex: ALL
Component set have a List of Component Ex BP , BT .
SPRO-> CRM -> CRM Cross Application Components -> Generic Interaction layer -> Basic Settings
Now you can have your Custom , Component Set ( Ex : ZALL ) and Component ( ( Ex ; ZBT , Totally advisable for CIC Development Framework )
Have BT Copied into ZBT and Specify ZL_CRM_BTIL ( Inherited from CL_CRM_BTIL )
And in your Custom Component Set , Specify ZBT instead of BT .
Now Specify your Custom Component Set in your Framework Profile .
Now you got the Enhancement Spot in ZL_CRM_BTIL->GET_QUERY_RESULT

Conversion Routine Needed for Tax Code MWSKZ in FM Calcualte_tax_from_netam

i am passing BUKRS,MWSKZ,WRBTR AND WAERS in CALCULATE_TAX_FROM_NET_AMOUNT. From this i get WMWST.
which i need 2 use for calcualating CST(logic is where KSCHL = JVCS ).
But while debugging the code, i get value of MWSKZ as V0 which is maintained as 13 in EKPO Table.
Hence i get WMWST field as 0.
Do i need 2 use a Converision Exit to convert MWSKZ from V0 to 13 ????

What authorization are need for T-code se37

i create a user with following roles:
SAP_BC_USER_ADMIN
SAP_J2EE_ADMIN
SAP_MT_SYSTEM_TEST
SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR
But when i logon with this user, and run se37, a warning message will show as following:
"You are not authorized to use transaction SE37".
Then, what other roles, not SAP_ALL, do i need to assign to the user for SE37.

Config need for T. Code PA30, PA71

Dear Experts,
I have a following Client requirement as like,
1. There are two SAP User (AS User 1 and User 2) for SAP Payroll. requirement is whenever "User 1 " will create a record for IT0008, 0014 , 00015 and 0057 through PA30 or PA71 that record should always create in Lock mode.
2. When "User 2" will check the same created record by "User 1". And same he(User 2) will Unlock after the check.
So my quiry is is it possible through std config or I have to do anything Enhancement to achive the same. Please guide me.

You can achieve this at authorisation level. Ask your basis guy to help on this...
Pls maintain authorisation object below for user 1 (which will be by default lock mode when he will create the record 8 , 14 , 57 etc)

Skype Number setup for USA loading blank Area Code...

Is there a glitch with Skype Number set up for the USA? I am trying to get a Skype Number and when I get to the "Select State" and enter "California", no Area code options come up (it is blank) so I cannot continue.

Skype does its best to obtain a wide range of numbers, however in some cases numbers are not available everywhere. Whatever numbers appear on the list of choices are all that we have available to us. In other words, you could contact Skype Customer Service to request a specific area code to be added, however it could take weeks or months to appear on the list -- if available at all.

Using a Skype number in another country?

Im in Australia and will be travelling overseas soon. Can i buy a Skype number with an Australian area code and use that in another country, e.g. Thailand.
More importantly, wouldn't this mean that my friends calling me from Australia would only be calling me on local rates, since I am essentially tricking the system by pretending I am in Australia.
The following however suggests such a trick may not be possible : "Note that before you can set up a Skype Number for certain countries, you need to provide proof of residence." (although since I am in Australia at the moment and a resident, it shuldnt be a problem for me).
Just seems to good to be true.

otherwise Skype Numbers work as you have outlined -- you get an Australian number that the expected callers will ideally call at local rates, and your signed in Skype client magically rings wherever in the world you are physically located

Need help with understanding Skype Number please

Not sure if this is posted twice!
I live in the UK and am trying to offer online coaching through a company in America. I can only offer live chat sessions if I have a US or Canadian number. Is it a Skype Number that I need? Why would it matter which State I choose - will people only be able to contact me from that State?

Unfortunately, for several reasons, Skype Numbers are not available in Canada.
The concept of any virtual number is to provide a way for people who do not have accounts on the service to contact the subscriber, but using a fixed line or land line number. In the case of Skype Numbers in the United States, the best scenario would be to have a number set up where most of your customers would be able to call without incurring high toll charges or ideally no toll charges. Of note, not all states participate in the Skype Number program, again for any number of legitimate reasons.
Skype does not offer "toll-free" numbers.

How do I disable or delete the country code prefix

I'm in Mexico and want to call another Mexican city ant skype keeps adding 52 before my number. Apparently it thinks I'm in the States and will need this code. How on earth do I just type in a phone number without a code? I don't need a country code to make this call. Actually this new "feature" of automatically adding a country code prevents me from using Skype. Help anyone? Thanks!

You always need to start phone numbers with the country code when calling from Skype. Take a look at the instructions for calling landline or mobile phones: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA20/how-do-i-call-mobiles-and-landlines-in-skype-for-windows-deskt...
Best to save phone numbers in you Skype contacts starting with the country code. If you are calling numbers via the dialpad you can change the default country via the dropdown next to the number field.
