Uknown Error in update rules while loading into InfoCube

I load data from BC 0FIAR_O03 ODS into BC 0FIAR_C03 ICube.
While loading I got error on second data package (1st package loading ok)
The error message in monitor informs about error in update rules.
I got nothing special than I looked into Application Logs (tcode SM21). It tells about message 560 with addition "no documentation exists for message 00560"...
I can't get what's wrong. The update rules for ICube is BC without any modifications and data loaded succefully into ODS.... Any ideas?? Where I can find more inforamtion about error occured during update??

update rule terminated if data load contains more than 1 data package. don't know why. I solved problem by spliting load process by Fiscal Year ranges

Have you transferred the global settings from the context menu of source system where all the units from the source is replicated to BW system

How to debug start routines of update rules from ODS to InfoCube

Dear gurus,
I have an update rule from ODS to InfoCube. I wrote a start routine in the update rule. Now I want to debug it. I went to monitor and simulate update the data package and only got the prompt "No data exists in the corresponding PSA table". So how can I debug this start routine?

Jin,
In order to use PSA between ODS and InfoCube, you may have to use an exclusive InfoPackage and load separately. In that InfoPackage, choose the radio button to use a PSA.
I think you are currently updating the InfoCube directly without using a separate InfoPackage.
Look for an InfoSource under DataMarts (search for 8<ODS Technical name>) and create your InfoPackage there.

Delta Update with flat file into infocube

Can any one explain me the steps how to achive the delta update with falt file into infocube?

There is a documented way of managing a delta but it mostly boils down to how you model the process. SAP says you can add a ROcancel field ( or something similar to it) in the transaction data within the files
that way when you update the data into the cubes, it would be managed - whether it has to be added or over written,
therefore the best way to manage this would be to make some changes i the flat file-
are the flat files being generated by some program? maybe you can add in further to check the updated records -

Self Load into infocube of a specific request

Hi all
I have to do a self load on a infocube, Can do load only for specific request?
For ex: Infocube->Manage->Requests I see 4 Requests, can I pick only one request out of those 4 and do a self load into infocube for that one request?

Please do a fetched run in the DTP(i hope the option will get enabled for delta DTP) and reset the datamart status only for that particular request in the source which you need to load. Try loading it again?

Error While loading into BW using infoPackage

Hi All,
While following directions posted at the following wiki page https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/ConfiguretheLoadJobinBW%28DS+3.2%29,
we get an error while loading data into BW using infoPackage via Data services 3.2
In SAP BI side Error says :"Error while executing the following command: -sJO return code:220"
On DS side for the RFC server log we get the error" Error while executing the following command -sJOB_SQL_TO_DBI -Ubbu -P;(encrypted password) -A (encryted information) -VMODE=F"
Issue is still open with support as we still cannot excute the job from infopackage. it is succesfully executed from designer, admin console, batch file.
Any insights/help would be appreciated.

Sure I will.
One thing we have noticed is that in the server_eventlog parameter for the log line "Starting job with command line parameters are different"
When job is executed from DS side parameters -Ct -Cm -Ca -Cj -Cp -S -N -Q -U -P -G -r -T -Locale are used
When job is executed from BW side parameters -Ct -Cm -Ca -Cj -Cp -s -N -Q are used
Also when the job is executed from BW, log files start getting created but then trace and error file show an error that cannot open database - and that points to DSCentral repository.This repository is not even mapped to the job server and the job has been exported from the correct repository as command line execution of the job works perfectly fine.

Just an update we were not able to figure out why this happened in the existing environment. One reason given was that somehow the commands which were being executed from BW side were getting corrupted. We had to build a new environment and this is no longer an issue in the new environment, as now all jobs can be executed from BW. Only difference between the 2 environments was we are now on 12.2.1.3 while earlier we were on 12.2.0.0.

Error while loading into DTP

I am loading data to a DSO from 0FI_AP_30. PSA I am able to load successfully but while loading this PSA data to DTP i get the following error message:
@5D@ Request REQU_D44GG0YIPPH7NBQ5F1VOCB890 not extracted; request is in obsolete version of DataSource @35@
and in help this is the respose:
Diagnosis
The request REQU_D44GG0YIPPH7NBQ5F1VOCB890 was loaded into the PSA table when the DataSource had a different structure to the current one. Incompatible changes have been made to the DataSource since then and the request cannot be extracted with the DTP anymore.
System Response
The request is in PSA /BIC/B0001232, version 001. The current PSA version is 002. An extraction would lead to a short dump because of field incompatibilities.
Procedure
If you no longer require the data, you do not need to take any further action.
If you do still require the data, you can just extract it by creating a generic DataSource in the Myself source system in PSA /BIC/B0001232, version 001. You can find the technical name of the PSA table in the table RSTSODS with the specified PSA name and version. Convert the data using a separate transformation into the new target format.
Please let me know what can be done for this? pl give me the solution.

I am also facing the same error for data source 2LIS_03_BF, i am unable to load the same in one DSO, can you elaborate how you solved your issue ASAP?
I can't run IP because this data source requires downtime in ecc. We have already done that.

Currency conversion error in Update rules for 0SD_C03

Hi All
I have freshly installed Sales Overview cube 0SD_C03 from BI Content(3.x version) and when extracting data from datasource "2LIS_13_VDITM" there is an error "Error: Conversion foreign curr. -> local curr.: 0090000000 20080516 M -> SGD".
Till PSA data is loading fine, there is error while loading from PSA to cube(ie. in Update Rule).
Checked in the PSA for the errored records, all the records which have 0(zero) as amount are green and the rest of them are errored with the above message.
When checked in the manage cube there are added records but the request is red.
Please let me know if some one as the clue.

Hi
You will find the transfer global settings for the source system where you are extracting the data.
Select the source sytem, right click,go to transfer gloabal settings, (select the currencies in this)
Then Reload the data into the cube,
After, Reloading the data into the cube replicate the master data, and activate the mappings,and load the data.
I think, this will work....

Hope, SAP Note 588247 will help you to resolve this issue. It is giving "Rule incorrect" error, may be because of Infoobject 0RECORDMODE is ignored.

Error in Update Rule migration using "Create Transformation"

Hi gurus,
We are encountering errors in the migration of our 2LIS_03_BF and 2LIS_03_BX update rules into a transformation via URs Context Menu Additional functions - > Create transformation
This action creates a new transformation, but is only generating very little Routine assignements in our KF fields. That is, some KF have their old ABAP converted automatically into ABAP OO while the rest (majority) of KF fields have no rule (routine) assigned at all.
However, the most surprising thing is that after executing the "Create Transformation", the log shows everything correct and warnings (message 652 "Routine created. Verify sintax").
Have you ever faced this problem?
Is the automatic migration tool working correctly?
If not, do we need to manually create all those KF routines that have not been correctly been migrated? Even after two years since new dataflow that was released?
We are on SP 15...

Hi Juanjo,
In fact, if I understand you correctly, I'm facing the same situation: all FORMS based on OLD individual KFs routine are now available in the global transformation routine in ABAP OO, but what I'm missing is the individual source to target KF field mapping to routine, where the method with the perform to each coding should be done.
Shall I understand this is a common bug? Manual correction proposed?

Error in update rules *urgent*

Hello all,
We got error in loading 2LIS_03_BF due to loss of connectivity to source system ,
After correcting the connection I tryed to reload the delta.
while loading we got all the records (100000 of 100000) but the processing is still running at

Hi SAP,
HAs the extraction been finished for your data load? If so are you able to see the data packets in processing in yellow state? then try making the status red and then update the data pckages manually.
If your data packets taking time to get processed in the update rules stage, reduce the data packet size and then reload, this should give less records to process in the update rules.

CDC Error (JOURNALIZED DATA is not loading into tartet database)

I have enabled source database for CDC and got green mark on source database model tables.
while inserting data into source, J$ tables updating JRN_SUBSCRIBER and other filed.
when I run the package/ interface JOURNALIZED DATA is not loading into target database.
i have implemented cdc for 7 source table.
and using JKM MSSQL Simple
and enable JOURNALIZED DATA in interface level.
and
source database is : MSSQL Server
Target Database : Oralce 11g.
please advice me.

also before running Can you right click on the Source Datastore and click on Journal Data and can you see the data ? and if still the data is not passing through ,in that case make temporary objects t- yes in LKM , IKM and debug and see at which step data is not flowing through and look if there is any filter or condition which is stopping it .
Still not able to figure out please tell us which step the data is not flowing through we will try to guide you.

Error in ALPHA conversion while loading hierarchies

I got the following error while loading hierarchies:
Error in ALPHA conversion in NodeId00000088 for InfoObject 0PROFIT_CTR
Message no. RH224
Diagnosis
The technical node name for node id 00000088 is not consistent for conversion exit ALPHA, which is stored with InfoObject 0PROFIT_CTR.
Possible reasons for the error:
The original consistent value returned by the DataSource was changed by a conversion routine to a non-consistent conversion exit value.
The DataSource returns a value that is not consistent in the conversion exit.
System response
Loading the hierarchy was terminated.
Procedure
Check whether the correct conversion exit was entered for the InfoObject. If necessary, change the conversion exit, conversion routine or the data to be extracted.
A further option is to activate automatic conversion in the transfer rules. Here, the system executes the conversion exit, making sure that the data is in the correct format.
If it is not hierarchies, we fix this error by prefixing the zeros (as we are working on Qbox we wont change the transfer rules to select the conversion routine) but here there is no PSA, the data is coming from ALE. Based on this please suggest me to how to fix this error?
Points will be given for any helpful suggestion

Error with Update Rule Formula

I have the following formula in an update rule
CALMONTH_FISCPER( Calendar Year/Month, 'SO', 1 )
and get the error (below) when loading data to the cube (loads ok to PSA). I have checked ROUTINE_0001 via the Generated Program and it is referring to a problem with the formula could someone assist? Thanks

Hi:
Yes. You will have to maintain Fiscal Variant and Period breakdowns for that year.
If data is coming from R/3, its a good idea to speak with R/3 Finanace and tell them to amintains variant and periods in R.3 and then you can do a Global Transfer.
If not, you can maintain them directly in BW. I think you know how to do this part.
