Uknown error when enrolling to Imac

I'v setup an OSX server on Mountain Lion. Made a self singed certificate and started the Open Directory and Profile Manager.
If I go to <myservername>/mydevices I can see everything how it should be. I can download the Trust Profile and I can enroll my Mac Mini. (The server is on here).
But if I do this on an Imac. I get an unkown error when it tries to install the Remote Management. It is an error about mdm.
I've had the same error before but about the bootstrapper. This was fixed by opening the needed ports. But I cannot enroll the Imac or install a Test Profile I made in the profile manager. Even exported the Certificate I've used and imported it on the Imac.
I've searchd around and resetted the Profile Manager before, Even completely reinstalled the OSX Server. But I can't get father then this.
Is there anyone else with this problem or can help me with it?

Make sure that no other Macs are backing up at the time.
Pull the power cable from the back of the Time Capsule
Count to ten
Plug the power cable back into the back of the Tme Capsule
Wait a few minutes, then try a backup again.

Well, just for the halibut I tried opening the book again today and , GLORY BE!, it worked.
Guess it may have taken overnight for Adobe to OK my license to their free ADE software. Also works now using Bluefire app as the reader on my android phone, although it was a pain
to get the book file in the right file folder for bluefire to see it.
I hope that time also heels the issue with all other Error Getting License users.

Consistent 8007 error when trying to download from iTunes / App Store on my iMac.

Hi I get a consistent 8007 error when trying to download on my iMac. Yet can download and it works fine via Apple TV. I'm also having issues downloading on the App Store. I've checked the date and time, firewall and everything else seems to be fine. I can't uninstall iTunes as am running OSX 10.8.4 and am not tech confident enough to run this via terminal. Help!

Extending ClassSearchVO.xml in Oracle Learning Management results in an intermittent error when paging through the results. The following is the error message:
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: oracle.jbo.InvalidParamException: JBO-25043: Extraneous key 61005 of index 0 (in key-value array) passed to findByKey for view object ClassSearchVO.
This issue appeared in 11.5.10 if the results of the VO were > 50 and the user paged through the results by clicking "Next". We were able to avoid it by personalizing the page to display 50 records to avoid having to page through. However, some searches result in > 50 records so the error has re-appeared.

Please check in vo how many key attributes are defined there.
Reason for this error (As Per Oracle Documentation)
Cause: Extraneous key passed in to findByKey(). For example, suppose the View Object may expect no more than a two-part key, but the key passed into findByKey is a three-part key. Then, this exception will thrown.
Action: Provide a valid key.

Quicktime component errors when I start iMovie' 11 on iMac?? Help.

Getting the following error in iMovie when I open it now. It doesn't seem to be importing movies anymore from my computer.
I removed the imovie APP... into the Trash folder. Redownloaded it from the APP store but it is still giving the same error when
I run it.

I would suggest reinstalling OSX. You can reinstall from the Restore Partition. (Restart Mac and hold down the Option key)
If this is in the first 90 days, or if you have AppleCare, you can call and have them help you through it for free.

HT3275 getting already in use when backing up iMac to Time Machine

I'm getting the following error when trying to backup to my iMac to my Time Machine, and I think it might be related to the MacBook I purchased yesterday and connected it to the same Time Machine.
The backup disk image “/Volumes/Data-1/Martin’s iMac.sparsebundle” is already in use.
Any suggestions on how to determine the problem and resolution?

A computer is holding open a connection which is stopping other computers from working.. or you have loaded the sparse bundle in finder and it is not being unmounted.
Go to the airport utility.. (5.6 if Lion) and manual setup.. disks page.. disconnect all users.. you will then be able to use the device.
I am assuming Time Machine means Time Capsule.. it is a common mistake.
There are a number of other issues that cause the problem but that is the most common.

I just agreed to an update of iTunes on my imac (running OS-X 10.8.4) and now I get an error when trying to open iTunes. The error is: "This version of iTunes has not been correctly localized for this language. Please run the English version." What?
I'm not a tecchie and could really use some step-by-step instructions on how to get my Itunes working again! I've never changed the language on my Mac...have no idea where this language error came from.

"Merging data" error when syncing iPhone 5s Calendar to MacBook Pro Calendar, using Mountain Lion

Since a failed attempt to sync data via iCloud (resulting in duplicate entries in Calendar and Contacts, missing data, and other oddities), whenever I try to sync the Calendars via iTunes, I repeatedly get the error message, "iTunes could not sync calendars to the iPhone <name> because an error occurred while merging data." The Contacts sync fine, and the backup runs smoothly. The only discussions I can find in Apple Support are dated 2009 with older systems (I'm using Mountain Lion 10.8.5, iTunes 11.1.5, iOS 7.1.1, but the problem occurred with iOS 7.0 and possibly 6.0 as well). Repairing permissions had no effect. I can't use the option to copy the Mac Calendar to the iPhone because new data are entered into the iPhone. Would appreciate guidance. I'm trying to avoid iCloud but if I have to go there to fix this, guidance for that would also be welcome.

I have iPhone 5 with iOS 6.1.4 and iMac with Mavericks 10.9.3 and iTunes 11.2.1.
I also got this error when I tried to sync iPhone with iMac (after a year when Apple disabled local USB cabel sync in Mavericks - thanks Apple for re-enabling it!).
I tried a number of things to no avail. Finally I tried three things - and hurraaa, can sync now! Unfortunatelly I didn't test sync among these three steps - so don't know which one fixed it - up to you to try. My guess is that it was the 3rd step, actually
Step 1: On my iPhone I opened Calendar and tap "Calendars" (top left). I have 7 items on the list (2 email accounts, Calendar, Home, Work, Reminders, Birthdays). Most of the calendar entries were in my Home calendar, only a few were in Work or Birthdays. I moved all of them to Home. I also checked whether there aren't any items without content.
Step 2: On the list of Calendars I had one custom item (Birthday in my local language). This item had only one entry in it. I deleted both the single entry and the custom item as a whole - so I left the default categories only.
Step 3: At the top of the list of Calendars there is an item "All from My Mac". I tapped this and thus enabled all of my calendar categories. Now the sync worked like a charm!
I actually noticed that when I synced, iTunes automatically checked all items under "Sync Calendars - Selected Calendars". Even if I manually deselected all except the "Home" calendar, as soon as I started to sync, iTunes checked all items automatically. This led me to thinking that if I check "All from My Mac" item in my iPhone it might work.

Errors when writing metadata to files on Windows Server

Good day!
I have an iMac running OSX 10.9 (Maverick) and Lightroom 5.2.
My catalog is on the local iMac drive, and the images are on SMB shared drive (handled by Windows 2012 server).
I decided to do the final layout of my album using InDesign, and for that I needed to access to images using Bridge. So selected all the images (the rated once...) and issue a Metadata/Save command.
The system came back with errors on many of the files (such as Photos are read only, and unknown errors).
Retrying to save the metadata on image that was flagged with an error usually (but not always) worked.
I tried to select save the metadata for few (6) images in a time, many times it was ok, but sometimes, one or two of them failed (and retrying again usually solved the problem).
It looks to me like a timing related issue.
Any ideas?
(After spending about an hour on this, I have exported the images to my local drive...). In general I don't have similar problems with other apps.

I'm experiencing more or less the same behavior (see Read-only error when writing metadata to file over network (Synology DS1315+ using AFP) ). For me however, the problem is more pronounced if I use the AFP protocol and is better (I think as you described) if I use SMB (all done on a Synology DS1315+). With SMB it most often works but in very rare cases I also get the "read only" message!
Do you have solution to this? Or are you stuck as I am?

Just updated to iTunes 10.7 on Windows Vista 64bit and now when I try to connect to the iTunes store and just get "Uknown error has occured-42408" Please help!!!!!!!

The only but is there are again some problems with upgrading from 10.6 to 10.7, but this is another story.
