Ultra Newbie Q on adding a Profile to Netbeans

Hi,
I am trying to learn how to add the Personal Profile to Netbeans.
I went to the sun web site and downloaded what I think is the correct one at https://cds.sun.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/CDS-CDS_Developer-Site/en_US/-/USD/ViewFilteredProducts-SimpleBundleDownload which has the Personal Basis Profile Reference Implementation with Foundation Profile Security Optional Package.
My problem now is I still see no way top add this to the Platform Manager. Is there some other way to create a CDC project with the personal profile?

For Clarity.
You can Use AIM names and various other emails like Names from various ISPs or web services like the MobileMe one (and the Previous @mac.com names)
Apple are not the only people who have their email ID's recognised by AIM as valid names.
In fact the @ symbol is a valid character is setting up an AIM name itself (I actually had someone contact me with a Hotmail ID that had used as an AIM name).
Previously in iChat 3 you had a Drop down selection of AIM of An @Mac.com name (it pre-filled the Suffix if you chose @Mac.com)
During Leopard the @mac.com or .Mac service changed to MoblieMe and a further choice was added to the Drop Down.
(And the Jabber/GoogleTalk options in the Jabber side were separated).
It now appears you just type in whatever name it is in full with the relevant suffix.

Adding provisioning profile to organization windows for os x application

Hello Everyone,
I'm working on 10.7.2 with iCloud beta 6 to create a test application to test iCloud functionality. I have created provisioning profile but i'm not able to add it in Organizer window.Can someone suggest me on this .please note that all this i'm doing for my mac os x application not for ios. and also in build setting when i'm adding provisning profile name as "code signing identity" it's giving error "there is no matching certificate or private key pair is available" it's just taking 3rd part application certifaicate. all this make me very cofused.

Sorry if this wasn't clear in the release notes. We implemented mobile first but we're definitely working on getting this into an upcoming beta for desktop platforms (AIR and Flash Player).

Users added to Profile Manager not showing up in everyone group

So profile manager was working quite well until I made a change to the workgroup group.
I removed the password policy from the workgroup group and added a new group for the password policy so we could essentially still manage non user assigned iOS devices.
Now when I add a new user to the workgroup group on the server I have them login to the mydevices site so we can enroll the device and they can login but are immediately presented with:
"You do not have permission to access the page you were looking for. Contact your system administrator."
In troubleshooting the issue I noticed that new users being added are not showing up the in the everyone group which is preventing the users from having proper access. Prior to all this I could add a user and they would show up in everyone as intended.
Any thoughts?

I'm not sure if this is the same issue, but I have a user in Server.app that is not showing up in Users group. She is listed in her sub-group, but I cannot add devices to her account. When I click on the arrow next to her name in the sub-group, it takes me to the Users list to the top user.
Any thoughts?

Adding Facebook profile pic in Muse

Hi There
I was wondering if there was any way to display Facebook profile pics after joining a Facebook page in Muse?
A client wants to display Facebook profile pics in a pop-up box similar to this example:

Is this specialised coding or is there a Muse Widget out there that I can use?

Adding device profile

Hi all,
I need help.
I have PS 6 on my PC and my Surface Pro 3. On my PC my Epson Stylus Pro 4880 printer's paper profiles are all available when i want to soft proof before printing. On my SP3 the 4880 profiles are not available. I have the printer's software installed on both computers and the are on the same net work. The PC is directly connected to the 4880 and the SP3 is connected wireless. How do get the 4880 printer's paper profiles on my SP3? Thanks in advance.

Profile are install into your OS. I have and older Epson a 4800. When I added it to my Surface pro 3 as a remote printer the Epson 4800 device diver and profiles were installed into the Surface Pro 3 Windows 8.1 OS. I do not Photoshop 6 installed on the Surface Pro 3. PS6 is from 2000-2001 I do not know how well a Photoshop the old would run on windows 8.1. I do have Photoshop CC 2014.2.2 the Epson Profiles are available for soft proof as well as for printing in it. Adobe 2x UI did not fit on screen so I used the registry update and external Photoshop manifest file to use windows display scaling rather the Adobe scaling. Adobe scaled the 2160x1440 display to 1080x720 which does not meet Photoshop requirements. Microsoft default scaling for the surface pro 3 is 150% so it scales the display to 1440x960 which meets Photoshop requirements. Without scaling Photoshop UI is hard to use even with a mouse.

I added a profile but i can not find it in cc 2014 for soft proofing

I added a color profile from White Wall a printing company in Germany.
I want to soft proof it before I sent it to them to print it on aluminium.
But the added profiles doesn't show up on PS CC2014?
Photoshop runs on OSX version 10.9.5
Can anyone tell me what I'am doing wrong?

It does show up in CC 2014 (Yosemite 10.10.1) It should show up in Mavericks.
First Place it in /Library/Colorsync/Profiles folder.
When you go to "Device to Simulate" it will be located here on the list.

Adding Custom Profile under Proof Setup

In prior versions of PS, if I added a custom profile under Proof Setup, it would be pinned to the Proof Setup menu (along with the default profiles). That doesn't appear to happen in PS CS6.
Is there a specific place I need to save the custom Proof profiles to so that they will appear in the menu?

I have had no issues with that and the location for me is
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Proofing/
Where exactly have you saved the file to?
Could you provide a screenshot?

Adding roaming profiles

We have an existing farm with only one server in it now that is in production. We have two other rdsh servers on the side that we are going to be adding into the farm. Currently we are not using roaming profiles but would like to. I know
you can set the path for remote desktop profiles in user settings in AD or globally in group policy settings fro the rdsh servers. I am trying to figure out the best way to introduce roaming profiles into the current 1 server farm and add the
roaming profiles to the new servers before they are joined to the farm. Can I do it per AD user settings to test things out on a few users and log into all three servers? If I make the change globally I don't want to have problems on the production
server for all users.

You can specify a Remote Desktop Services-specific profile path and home folder for a user connecting to an RD Session Host server. This profile and home folder will only be used for Remote Desktop Services sessions. You should assign a separate profile for
Remote Desktop Services sessions because many of the common options that are stored in profiles, such as screen savers and animated menu affects, are not desirable when using Remote Desktop Services.
You can manually configure these settings on the Remote Desktop Services Profile tab on the Properties sheet of a user account in the Local Users and Groups snap-in or the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in.
You can also use the following Group Policy settings to configure these settings:
- Set RD User Home Directory
- Set path for RD Roaming User Profile
- Use mandatory profiles on the RD Session Host server
The Group Policy settings can be found in Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Profiles

Flash CS5 Newbie - Need help adding URL link to animated banner

I apologize if this is a very basic question, but I am a newbie at designing in Flash. I have created a basic animation in Flash CS5 and I need to add a clickable URL link to it. I've tried a few tutorials that looked promising, but none of them solved my problem. I've tried a number of things including converting parts or all of the images to simple buttons or movies and linking them that way as well as typing in code for ActionScript 2 and 3, none of which were successful. The animation plays correctly when viewed in my browser, but when I click on it, the link does not work. I would prefer that the entire banner be clickable to take viewers to the linked website rather than using hyperlinked text. Also, when I open the Code Snippets window, it is empty, no matter what image or frame I've selected. Do I need to import code snippets from somewhere or am I simply going about things the wrong way? Any help is greatly appreciated!

It all depends whether you're decisively using AS2.0 or AS3.0 .
In the latter, you would need to use a URLRequest() method in conjunction with a navigateToUrl() call (not sure the exact syntax for navigate to Url, it might be a capitalized "URL" in the method but the request takes a String argument such as http://www.adobe.com)

Adding printer profiles to Lightroom

I am trying to add custom profiles to the Print Module. I have never used outside labs before and want to do this now, , but when I enter custom, the pop up windows only gives me my installed printer profiles with no ability to add. I am using a MAC and the printer that I want to use this time is a Noritsu 311. I have the profiles, but can't seem to get them in to Lightroom. Can anyone help me with this?

Adding Wireless Profile XML In TS or Command Line in SCCM

I have exported my wireless profile to an XML file and have created a package and tried from the command line in TS but keep getting errors (0x00000001 or 0x80004005). The command line I've been using is netsh wlan add profile filename="<Profilename>"
I have to be missing something. Does anyone have any ideas?

My way of doing it is that i have my scripts included in the toolkit package (we do use integrated MDT).
Therefore i need a use toolkit befor i riun my script.
After that I just use a run command line step with Cscript.exe "myscriptname".
Sccm is running as system so it should have all permissions it needs.
By the way, you are not trying to do a gpupdate by chance? That will not work (at least not in 2007)

Newbie needs help with color profiles

somewhat new to digital photography and send most of my stuff to local lab (Costco) when needing to print. I have a mac, with Leopard, and use Lightroom to export to jpgs and upload to the lab site.
Simple enough, but I noticed their site had the icc's available to download. My intent is for lightroom to rendor and export the photos the way their lab will print them.
Why bother to really develop the picture to my liking if it is just going to print differently.
I dont use PS and not sure how I can, if at all, utilize the color profiles the lab provides in LR.

You can now also use the
LR/mogrify plugin to convert to any profile you want. Much quicker than the photoshop route.
Note that there is no reason to do this if you do not hardware calibrate your monitor. Otherwise sending them sRGB is more than good enough. On a Mac, make absolutely sure that you at least software calibrate your monitor. See http://www.computer-darkroom.com/colorsync-display/colorsync_1.htm
Doing this will already improve it quite a bit, but there is no substitute for hardware calibration.

Receive: "Add Profile Failure: Invalid Profile XML" error when adding WWAN profile - Windows 7

I'm trying to import below XML profile to Windows 7 machine and no matter what profile i use (even the one it was on that computer originally it gives me an error.
Command:

- configured the setting using UI and test connection - it worked.
- copied that profile from path: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\WwanSvc\Profiles to

- closed the connection and run command: netsh mbn delete profile interface="Mobile Broadband Connection" name=TestProfile
- and then tried to add the profile under changed name (no profile changes made): netsh mbn add profile interface="Mobile Broadband Connection" name="test.xml"
- received very nice message: Add Profile Failure: Invalid Profile XML

Got an answer. It required some debugging, but I end up finding it.
When you add that profile, system executes a function which compares Subscription ID tag with the one it has in system already. If one is already there then overwrites the profile, if NULL adds the profile. Problem is, as soon as any of
the profiles are configured manually to redistribute later, the Subscription ID tag is encoded. And window doesn't know how to decode it, so it fires an error.
The Subscription tag is an IMSI number, when you right click it on your connection and go to properties, you will see it there, 15 digits. Copy it and paste it to the XML file replacing encoded number.
It works as a charm.
I leave deployment methods to you... :)

The title basicly says it all. I add my MS Exchange email profile and the iPad fades to black and when it returns the device has been completely wiped clean. Because I don't learn the first time I have repeated the process three times, same result. I am able to add other profiles, such as GMail without any issue. I am also the Exchange administrator and can assure you that we have other iOS devices connecting properly.
Thoughts?

Added BT Profile, removed, and now have strange happenings-Help Please

Some Background:
I recently bought some bluetooth headphones, paired them successfully, and found bad sound quality though headphones. Researched and found out about A2DP, also that I need to upgrade to 10.5 to take advantage of it. Ok, no big deal, I was going to upgrade soon anyway. But I am waiting for a piece of software that I use frequently to be updated for 10.5 as it doesn't work for that version yet. Also, the Logitech BT mouse that I have been using flawlessly, started freezing intermittently. The only way to get it to start moving again was to click or scroll wheel. Needless to say, very obtrusive. No thanks, I'll wait until I can upgrade and all will be fine.
So... I go back to using my iPod earbuds as usual until I can upgrade allowing for software update from another company. Deleted headphone(headset) profile in BT preferences, made sure settings are ok for everything and plug in. Now sound is 'tinny' just like they were through bluetooth headphones. Also the mouse is STILL acting up. Never had it do that before the headphones. BT Apple Keyboard is working fine, no issues.
I've lost good quality sound (sounds like a 1970's 4" speaker but in stereo). Mouse is constantly having to be clicked/scrolled to use it. I can't find any answers, and I am getting extremely frustrated. Makes trying to use ANY application a true chore.
Any Ideas? I've checked every setting I can think of to no avail. Help!
