How do I remove an app from my iphone 3g...It is not showing up under my iphone in itunes when I expand the iphone...

To remove an App Store application:
1. Touch and hold any application icon on the Home screen until the icons start to wiggle.
2. Tap the "x" in the corner of the application you want to delete.
3. Tap Delete to remove the application and all of its data from your iPhone or iPod touch.
4. Press the Home button to save your arrangement.

Are you in an area where there is no coverage?
You can try a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
If that doesn't help, then yOu'll need to contact Sprint again.

Ummm... where are the apps I downloaded?

I successfully upgraded to 2.0 and I see all the icons from the January upgrade (that I didn't have before) but I don't see any of the actual apps from the app store that I downloaded. Monkeyball, etc.... where do I go on my iPod to access these?

After the update and sync of all your old stuff, you have to sync again to put your purchased apps on your ipod. You should have an Applications tab in the ipod device section in itunes. Make sure it's checked to sync those items. Once they're synced, they'll be icons on your ipod like everything else.

I bought an itunes card thinking i can make a purchase through the steam app, is there a way i can make a ummm, how do i say it?... transfer or trade the $60 of the $75 i have?

iTunes gift cards can only be used to buy content from the iTunes store, app store, Mac app store and iBookstore. They can't be used with the steam store, and Apple (for info these are user-to-user forums) don't give refunds for gift cards - you could try taking the card back to the store that you bought it from (assuming that you haven't redeemed or scratched the silver strip off the card) and see if they will refund you, or (if it's not been redeemed) do you know anybody that you could sell it to ?

I can see it in the list, but when I click on download, it keeps telling me to sign into the account you used to purchase it.......ummm I am...that's why I can see that I purchased it

No, it is picking up my Apple id. I have re-entered it several times. It shows all the apps that I have purchased. It was a clean install, and I used Migration Assistant to move things over from my MacBook Pro. If I click on download on my Macbook Pro in the app store, it wants to re-download the app, which is strange in itself. I don't have any system discs with it. Although I do have a original disc of Snow Leopard. Just seems odd to me that I can't download Lion, but I can buy ML.
Somewhere on a thread, I found where it says you can hold down the option key while clicking on purchases and that will be a work around....not for me.
And of course you can no longer purchase Lion, (even though I already did). It does give me the option to purchase Mountain Lion though.

i tried a few camera app and claim it can shot sharper pic than the original iphone camera app. But end up is no different.
And now i saw the top app, "camera+", which claim it can shoot with optimized "portrait", "beach", "night shoot"... is it a catch? if they can do it, why original iphone camera app cant??

You tell us...it's your phone. Nobody else can speak for you. Your camera needs and expectations are different than everyone else.

i downloaded a few new apps on my laptop but they won't sync to my i phone even after several syncs. the apps are not restricted on my phone and i checked all the boxes before sync them. i don't know what else to do. can someone please help me out.

It's never a good idea to use the same password in multiple areas and (were it possible) with Apple IDs that would be very bad practice.
Umm, I agree. Wouldn't have asked if I didn't have a good reason.
If Apple is forcing me to maintain 4 accounts (only one of which I actually use), at least I'd like to avoid juggling 4 passwords and 4 email addresses.

Ummm, I don't. Over the last 10 years, my wife and I managed to accumulate 4 IDs. I can no longer tell you why or how. For years I've used only one, and was surprised to discover the other 3 yesterday when I ran into trouble verifying an email address in order to install FaceTime on a Snow Leopard Mac I still have.
I guess you didn't read this thread from the top. My first question was how to get rid of the ones I don't need. Surprisingly, the answer was "no way to do it".
I also asked "can I consolidate them into one?" Answer: " no way to do it".
Apparently the rationale is because the ID is buried in every music file I download from iTunes -- must be a DRM thing. Over the last ten years, I've downloaded exactly zero such files. Doesn't matter, still no way to do it.
I suggest you read the links above dilligently; most of yopur problems would then be resolved.

FWIW, I have a very basic approach to my Mac ... keep it simple.
Very good advice -- I've followed it quite diligently since I got my first Mac in 1984, and with the dozen or so I've owned since then. This is not a Mac issue but an Apple ID policy issue. Not the same thing.
Don't think I can be of more help than this, though others may wish to contribute.

Can't review an app that I HAVE purchased, because it says that I haven't..

I purchased and downloaded an app yesterday (Dracula: Path of the Dragon, Pt 3) and I made a review of the app earlier today. Then I went back to edit that review (I had asked a game related question, then figured it out and wanted to update my post, as well as give the useful info that I came up with) and suddendly the pop up says that in order to review an app you must first purchase and download it. Ummm, clearly I have. And I AM logged in. It knows it's me. But it won't even let me access it at this point. UGH!!!! What to do? I have another question I would like to ask fellow gamers, in regard to a knew stumping me stage in the game.

can you go to the app store pull up the purchased area and find it in there and re download it and see where it puts it.
alternatively swipe to the page on the left and type the name of the app, or the first few letters if you dont remember the full name, it should show up in the search results

Accidentally deleted app

hey, i accidentally deleted my facebook app from my phone and when i go to try and download it again it wont let me, i have no idea on how i get it back, if somebody could help me i'd be really happy! thank you x

Ummm..."menu bit"? Do you mean your HomeScreen? Or some other location? Again, step by step of what you did would be more helpful to understanding your situation.

If it's installed, then what you probably did was hide or move the icon rather than deleting it. But, again, step by step would help more.

You could, with the KB above, actually delete the app and then you should be able to reinstall it. That is, of course, assuming it's actually still installed.

My phone wont let me download apps

I tried updating apps on my iphone. When I click update all it acts like it's going to download. Then it tells me there's an error. I put in my billing information but it still won't download them. I don't know what to do.

What is the error?

Looking for Daily Calendar At-a-Glance App

I'd love to find an app that will post an alert to my iPhone each morning listing out my day's calendar events. Anyone know of one? For what it's worth, I have 4 active calendars in Calendar app.

I don't know of any apps like the one you want; however, there is probably something out there that will do the job. I did want to suggest Google Calendar, which will send you email and SMS reminders about events and things you have put on your calendar. You might already be aware of this, so if you are, just disregard. I just wanted to suggest it in case you weren't aware of it. I use it all the time, and it's very handy.
