Hallo, wie kann ich bei Adobe PDF Pack meine in Word geschrieben Dateien direkt vom texte her in das Format pdf. umwandeln? Mit vorherigen Version war es möglich. Danke.

I have a word document of the product, which I am updating for next product release. However, there are some excel, word, and pdf files embedded within a word document. When I double click these embedded files in word, these files open in a new window. However, we deliver documentation to the customer in the pdf format. Therefore, when I am converting the word document in the pdf format, only an icon of the embedded file is displayed and the files do not open in a new window. Can someone let me know how can I embed these files (in word, excel, and pdf format) in a pdf document?

You must attach them to the PDF file after it is created. You cannot embed file attachments onto a page as you can with Word.

We have an application written in delphi. We need to develop an automated process to convert word documents to pdf format. I was wondering what was the best way to do this. Thanks.

The Acrobat SDK only offers that type of conversion API to plugins (written in C/C++).

ich habe folgendes Problem:
Wir haben in unserem Unternehmen mehrere Word Dokumente, welche wiederum andere Dokumente beinhalten (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Es handelt sich hierbei nicht um eine Verlinkung der Dokumente sondern man kann in Word ein Dokument einfügen und es dann auch wieder aus dem Dokument öffnen. Das ganze Dokument wird somit in die Word Datei kopiert, ähnlich wie Anhang einer E-Mail. Um dieses Cheat aber jetzt an unsere Kunden zu senden, wäre es besser, wenn das ganze als PDF verschickt würde. Nun würde ich gerne die im Dokument eingepflegten Dateien im PDF wieder öffnen. Das bekomme ich aber irgendwie nicht hin. Jetzt ist meine Frage ob das überhaupt mir irgend einer Software von Adobe möglich ist. Also das ich das Word Dokument in ein PDF wandle aber die eingefügten Dateien sich aus dem PDF auch noch öffnen lassen. Das heißt also ein großes Dokument welches mehrere Dateien binhaltet, welche geöffnet werden können.
Das ist alles etwas schwer zu verstehen und zu erklären. Ich hoffe ich konnte das irgendwie nahe bringen was ich umsetzen möchte. Vielleicht hat hier jemand eine Lösung dazu.

Ich habe gar nichts behauptet. Ich habe geschrieben, wir konnten kein Upgrade nutzen. Wir hatten CS2 als Upgrade auf ein altes Photoshop (5 oder 6), dann darauf Upgrade auf CS4. Problem with "Save as Adobe PDF format" in Excel and Word

When I use printing zone in Excel and make a «Save as Adobe PDF format» (menu File / Save as Adobe PDF), the first save is well done. But when I make it a second time, what's not in the printing zone is printing in the document.
I have also problem with the «Save as Adobe PDF format» in Word. The images superposition are not well print.
I'm using Windows 7 in french, Office 2010 french and Adobe Acrobat XI standard. All is in the latest version.

The Save As PDF feature in Office2008 Call up a PDF Creator similar to the AdobePDF Print Driver. whch OX.6 can't use.
To create Pdf you have to use method used:

Not before you attempt to use this method if Rossetta is not installed. pop in your Systems DVD and install Rosetta. Then follow directions to install the Adobe Quality PDF Automator Script which will show up in the Print Menu. Click on Print > then click PDF. Then Click on Adobe quality PDF. AS for setting up Job options and other details Supposedly your suppose to have access. But I have no idea.
First thing Rosetta should be installed out of the box. and Second Adobe should install this Script from their installer. So their should be no intervention from the user. it should just work. Early report when OSX.6 first came out almost no one was able to get this to work. and I see periodic reports that people still can't get it tork and they have to to resort to saving as .ps files then droping on distiller.

Yes, you can print the response in a PDF by following the steps suggested below.
1) Go to the response file
2) Select the response you want to print
3) Click on Save as PDF button and it would save the selected response in PDF format.

Converting a PDF to a Word document that maintains formatting

I am trying to convert a PDF to a Word .doc and it when I select the Export to Word Document option, the formatting goes crazy. Is there a way to maintain the formatting from the .pdf to .doc?

Not really in Acrobat no. If the original document used proper tagging you'd have a better shot at it but those are rare.
There are PDF to Word converters that do a better job available. Try Google and you'll get many options (can't vouch for any personally).

How are you generating the PDF file? Are you zipping (compressing) the file before sending it? Is Mail configured to send Windows-friendly files?
If you are using Word to generate the PDF file, then try instead to use the Word Print dialog. Click on the PDF dropdown menu in the lower left corner and select the option to Save as PDF.... You can save the output to the Desktop or any location your prefer. Use that document to send to others via email, but remember to compress the file first.
