Un-simlock iphone warranty changed by apple
Hello, I've asked my phone operator to un-simlock my iphone 3GS, as I've bought it more than two years ago.
They are OK, bur I've got a pb : one year and a half ago, Apple changed my iphone under warranty and so my operator doesn't know my serial number.
So they don't do anything and I don't know what to do ?
SN of your old phone, or SN of your new phone? SN of your new phone can be found here: Settings>General>About>SN>IMEI number.
For your old phone, have any backups listed for it in iTunes>Preferences>Devices? If so, hover your mouse pointer over the name of the backup, the SN & IMEI number will appear in a Popup.

In my iPhone my contacts got deleted suddenly.then I restored it but then also it is deleted again and again
Try temporarily recreating the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. Now try using your current password when you are prompted for the password for the old ID. If successful, you can go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.

i have the same problem. i've just recieved my ipad (4th generation) and succesfully transferred everything from my ipad3 throug icloud backup and now it doesnt want to activate my imessage and facetime.
Keep getting username and password is incorrect. app store and icloud is working fine and my apple id is correct. is there something wrong with imessage and facetime???? -
IPhone Serial # changed for apple
Hi everyone, I have my 3rd Iphone 4S replacement, all the Phones with the same problem, Activation Failed with the sim card. Last time I was in The Apple Store ( for 4rd time) and the technician diagnosis was, "After reviewing case history of customers Iphone on Irepair, it appears the customer serial # was mistaking lay used in replacement repair in the Polo park park Apple Store. The Iphone appears locked to a different carrier (MTS). Customer need to be unlocked and locked to the proper carrier (FIDO)." I have not any answares from Apple yet, this was not my mistake, and I could not solve this, I offert to Apple pay for anything, but no answers yet. Some one can help me?

My iPhone has changed my Apple ID and I need to know how to put the correct id in place
Help! My Iphone is showing an old Apple ID and will now allow me to update aps on my phone. My Icloud is correct with my correct apple ID. How did this happen, and how do I fix this?
Welcome to the Apple community.
Apps are from the iTunes Store and are nothing to do with your iCloud account. If your iTunes Store ID is incorrect, navigate to settings > store, scroll down to the bottom tap your ID and sign out. Then sign back in again using your correct details. -
IPhone cannot be activated (Apple ID was changed)
My Apple ID was used on several devices which some of them are sold thereafter and give them the password, i know. stupid, there was no activation lock problem by Apple ID at that time. Somebody activated Find my iPhone and change the Apple ID and Email, i have no idea what they are now. So other devices which has been upgraded are now stuck at activation. I recreated that Apple ID but still it can't be used for activation. Is there anything can be done?

Problems of change of apple ID, wifi connection and restore backup
Met the following problems with my iphone after change the apple ID from hotmail account to gmail account and restore backup from i4 to i5.
1. Cannot make any purchase / update as it keeps show the OLD (hotmail) apple ID on the iphone.
2. Incomplete data transferred to i5 from i4. (Empty data of some apps)
3. Unable connect wifi and asks for the password and says unable to join the network even I enter correct password. Curious that wifi works perfectly fine on i4 even other devices (laptop, not Mac).
Why this happen ? Any suggestion or someone can tell how to fix the above problems ?To change the iCloud ID on your device you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID.
If you are changing to a different iCloud account and need to migrate your data to this new account, when you are prompted about what to do with the iCloud data be sure to select Keep On My iPad. Then when you sign into the new account, when prompted choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account. -

No, not for a warranty or out of warranty replacement. Any iOS device will be replaced with an identical device. Heck, Apple still has original iPhone service units in stock for out of warranty replacement and battery replacement of 1st generation iPhones from 2007. -
I have had an iPad 2 for 10 months with Apple ID. Now I have new iPhone 5s which will not allow me to use my old e.mail address so I had to change it also in apple account. Now, every time I try to use apple or icloud the sign in comes up with the "old" ID which has been changed - I therefore cannot login, have to reset my password but once logged out and try to log back in again it still has my old id displayed - what can I do?
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

I recently changed my email address and have changed my Apple ID to reflect that. My itunes account will work on my PC with that new ID but my iCloud will not. Also, my iPhone will not use my new email address for either itunes or icloud. I don't know how to change it.
I read that if, on your iPhone you delete your iCloud account, you just open a new one with your new email address. Is that true, and, if you do that, do you lose your photos on your iPhone. AND, if you lose your photos on your iPhone, will they be pushed back to your iPhone if you manually sync your phone and PC?

Thank you.If you only changed the name of your ID rather than creating a new ID, just go to Settins>iCloud and tap Delete Account then sign back in with the new name. (Deleting the account from your phone does not delete it from iCloud. Your data will be synced back to your phone when you sign back in.)
If you created a new ID, you'll have to go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPhone. (If you are syncing iWork documents with iCloud, also open your iWork apps and turn off iCloud syncing and choose to keep the documents on your phone.) After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, set up a new iCloud account using your other ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to your new account.
You won't lose any photos in your camera roll or photo library. If you have any photos in your photo stream that are over 30 days old that are not in your camera roll or saved on your computer, be sure to save these to the camera roll before deleting the account. To do so, open the photo stream album on your iPhone in the thumbnail view, tap Edit, tap all the photos you need to save to select them, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll. -

So I changed my Apple ID. Now on my Iphone I can't update things from the apps store or download new stuff. I went into settings and changed my ID there, but in the apps store it still shows up as my old ID. The apps store won't let me log on with the new one, as my old still shows up, and if I go back into settings and change it back to the old ID the password I had before no longer works. This ***** Apple. You just ruined my Iphone!!! My phone went from being cool to being junk since I am not unable to download or update apps...the coolest part of my phone. Someone help??? Please tell me how I can enjoy my phone and apps again...

How do I change my Apple ID on my iphone? I had to change my email address but haven't been able to successfully on the my phone and not it will not allow me to download apps because the id is the old one
settings - app/itune store - apple id - log out and log back in with your new id.
NOTE: apps are tied to the apple id that was used to purchase it.
