Just installed the R8000 AC3200 router through a U-Verse Arris modem.
All is mostly working great, except...

Unable to open Pages after new hard drive

I am unable to open pages after recently having to get my hard drive replaced. I have a time machine that I could get the application/files off of, but when I try to open it it comes up with the message:
"Check with the developer to make sure Pages works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to re install the application. Be sure to install updates for the application and MAC OS X"
I have done all the software updates possible for both MAC OS and iworks compatibility, and nothing has worked. I do not have the original CD with me, so I cannot reinstall. Is there any other way to get the working version of the application off of my time machine?

Username password error when ifolder admin access admin page

OS: SLES 10 SP4 i586 + online updates
OES2 SP3 + online updates.
Today, I was configuring a POC demo of iFolder to a customer, and faced the following:
iFolder configured with MS AD 2003, and initial configuration(simias-server-setup, ifolder-admin, ifolder-web) went smooth, without errors. But I can't login via ifolder admin(ifadmin) user when accessing Admin Page(http://ip/admin) I got incorrect username password error.
As already informed, that iFolder configuration went smooth(error free) and iFolder Administrator account, plus iFolder Proxy accounts are all available in MS AD 2003, also I have provided the
appropriate DN during configuration(but still I am getting 'username password' error when accessing admin page).
logs says following:

Unable to display page after database clone

We are currently running Application Express 4.02 using Oracle Web Logic on a Suse Linux 11 server. We had a new database set up for APEXPRD port 1542 that was working correctly with application express. We also had a database set up for APEXTST port 1542 (on a different database server). We removed the APEXPRD database from the database server using DBCA and then used OEM to clone the APEXTST instance to the production server. Our new database instance has the name APEXPRD with the port 1542. We have recycled all services on the APEX server but our APEX Production site no longer runs -- just getting unable to display page error 404. We checked our dads.conf file to ensure no changes were needed but everything appears correct there since the database name and port did not change.
Is there anything within the database or any other configuration files that I would need to change to get APEX to work after a database clone?

We got this resolved...We modified the dads.conf file to show the debug information in the browser window. From this we found where our cloned database had no temporary datafile. Once this datafile was created the APEX works correctly.

Garbage characters in german admin pages after update to 3.0

After Update to 3.0 there are garbage characters display instead of German special characters (äöüß ...)
looking like ... " lÃ¶schen " or "UnterstÃ¼tzende Objekte"
In the applications these characters displayed correctly -even the Buttons ... - only Apex Admin Pages affected.
I have checked Frequently Solved Problems/FAQs with Application Express 3.0
and updated PL/SQL Web Toolkit to 10.1.2.0.6 and checked NLS_charset - is right.Then I've run the load_de Script again. But noting changed.
DB 10.1.0.3 on SLES9 SP3, NLS_CHARACTERSET WE8ISO8859P1

Authentication failed accessing admin page.

Hi,
I deployed NW NC7.1 on AIX, the deployment went through fine. I have admin servlet configured to be only accessible by users with an admin role.
So I created a new user, and mapped both this user and the administrator user to the admin role.
When accessing the admin page, I was prompted for authentication info. I tried to login with the new user, and also the admin user, none of them works.

Can't find CF admin page after fresh CF 8 install.

web site in their own office. When I took over on this project, the
cf 8 was installed. There is no links to access the cf admin page
in the programs menu and it seems to be having a problem open a
.cfm document locally. I can open one from the web.
I also looked through the directory, the update patch (update
to CF 8.01) is installed and from the .txt file about the install
it says everything was updated successfully.
How do I get to the cf admin (log in to server) page? I can
not administer cf any other way, and that is not good. This is
running on a windows 2003 server. All service packs installed and
updates applied.
Anyone know what is wrong?

Can't access welcome page after installing 10gAs 10.1.2.0.2

I've installed 10gAs 10.1.2.0.2 on Unix and am trying to check my installation by accessing the welcome page. The url I'm using is http://hostname:7777. I've checked the httpd.conf file to confirm the port and even the file at ORACLE_HOME/install/readme.txt points me to the same url. I've looked at the doc at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/core.1013/b28940/getting.htm#i1014519
Also, when I try sqlplus / as sysdba, I get sqlplus not found.
I've set LD_LIBRARY_PATH=O_H/lib and SHLIB_PATH=O_H/lib32
Any suggestions?

Run the following in your terminal where you have a sh shell.
export ORACLE_HOME= <give here the location of Oracle Infrastructure Home>
cd $ORACLE_HOME
sqlplus / as sysdba
## if you continue to get problems, then see the following file;
cat $ORACLE_HOME/network/ADMIN/sqlnet.ora
Check if you have a line with the following attribute:
SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES
make sure it is not missing, nor reporting a none value. If it does, change it to the following:
SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NTS)
Save the file. Now restart infrastructure:
cd $ORACLE_HOME
opmn/bin/opmnctl stopall
opmn/bin/opmnctl startall
## now try getting into the database again.
sqlplus / as sysdba

Unable to Load Page after extending a controller

Hi
I am working in controller extension. Now the issue which I am facing is while doing the controller extension.
While doing the extension I have mistakenly entered the wrong path for the custom package which will have the controller extension class.
Now after extending the main CO, when I am trying to load the page it is giving me an OA error. My intenstion was to personalize the page and instruct the controller extension to substitute the main controller.
Since I am not able to load the page, unable to configure the controller extension through page personalization. The page is not getting loaded and not allowing me to proceed further.
Please help me to resolve this issue. How can I get back to my original state of the page with the main controller.

another easy way to correct the mistakes in personalization.
1. using xmlExporter export the personalization..
2. correct the controller name in the xml file..
3. import the personalization using xmlImporter..

Safari unable to load page after iPad wakes from sleep

I have my WiFi iPad running 4.2.1. Whenever the iPad goes to sleep, when I wake it to access Safari, Safari cannot load a page or reload a page. It says the page cannot be accessed and times out. I always have to go to settings and turn the wifi off and back on. Is there some way to resolve this issue with iPad's Safari?

Can't access admin account after new security update

After installing a security update for OSX 10.4 on my G4 Tower I can no longer log into my main account. The trouble started with Keychain issues, I reset the keycain and now can't log in. I can login using the other account, but not my admin account.

Cannot access EM page after reboot

I installed Oracle 10g db on my local PC (Windows XP).
Immediately after the install, I could go to "http://localhost:5500/em" and it worked.
Once I shut down my PC and then restarted, the same URL gives 'No page found'.
