Heya, I'm having problem in deleting microsoft Id of the previous user, n so I'm unable downloading apps from the nokia store!
Get me solution regarding this.
The only way out to delete your MS account is to hard reset the phone, and then log in with the new account, make sure you have taken backup of all the contacts & events and mind you, changing MS account will not let you usse any purchased app on the earlier account, u will have to buy them again.
In the previous reply there is the process to hard reset the phone, also this may fix your photos issue.

I have forgotten icloud account password linked to my ipad. I am unable to reset the password as well as delete this account from my ipad, and use a new one.

Problem description:
After VM deployment is finished, remote desktop into the Windows 10 client OS with the created admin credentials
Open PC Settings -> Users and Accounts -> manage other users (this is the new UX not the old classic add user dialog)
Add a Microsoft account to the desktop, leave it as a standard user
Log Out
Make RDP connection using login of DNSName\[email protected]
Note: DNSName = connection string you are using in RDP
[email protected] is whatever liveID you are using.
Problem: If it was working you will get a message that this user does not have access rights to remote desktop to the computer
Error: Unknown user or bad password is what I would get
Solution:
Log back on as admin user with RDP
Using the new UX from " PC Settings -> Users and Accounts -> " delete the recently created microsoft account
Create a local (not microsoft account) account where with the name that would be before the @ (i.e. user77)
Go to the Old user management interface (either the computer management MMC or the "System Properties->Remote" tab and give the created local user remote desktop access rights.
Now log off as admin
Remote desktop and use username of DNSName\User77 (note no @outlook.com)
Let the login process finish
Make sure any feedback questions are answered
Now navigate to the new UX using " PC Settings -> Users and Accounts -> " and link the local account with your Microsoft account.
You will have to authorize the microsoft account, typically with a text message + verification code
Wait 2 minutes (using a A1 size VM there seemed to be some background stuff for account linking)
Log out
Now log in using DNSName\[email protected]
Success!
I hope this helps anyone else who is using Azure VM's to test out Windows 10 client technical preview.

We use a custom imagine and experience this quite alot. Usually host name is missing and we have to redeploy.
Seems to have gotten worse as we add more vms.
Should we not sysprep when capturing a vm?
Orginal vm came from the gallary and we've simply resized os to 30gb.
Main role for our vms is job processing so stop deallocate when finish to keep costs down buts prooving to be more trooblesome that expected due vms dieing.
We have a number which we don't shut down which are problem free. so I suspect the stop deallocate and self heal are still early days.
My monitor has reported issues with 40+ vms this evening. Are there issues or updates going on in western europe? -

Unable to Access Emails or delete Existing account
I changed by password about a week ago and unable to access email or delete existing account.
Error message in Edit Account screen " Your login information for account (Yahoo) has changed or is incorrect. Update your login information and try again."
Whenever I try to delete account this is the error message am getting "There was an error deleting your account."
Help!!!!!!!!Change the password in Yahoo! again, to something simple, and then try updating the password on the device again.

Unable to link Skype and Microsoft accounts
I am really confused here. I haev tried this on Windows, Mac and iOS no matter what I do cannot link my current/old SKype ID with my longtime Microsoft account. I've followed the KBs poste don this site and I am missing the step where I am offered to link my Microsoft account with my Skype one. E.g I will reference the iOS guide :
Logout of existing Skype ID
Choose login with other account
Choose Micrsoft account
Login with Microsoft account
Choose option for "Already using Skype?" <-- This option does not exist for me on any platform
Not sure why this refuses to work - has anyone else seen this? I had thought initially my Microsoft account TFA (two-factor auth) was throwing this off, and so disabled TFA but still got the same issue.
Then I thoguth that by using one of my aliases for my microsoft account it was not working properly, so I tried the explicit alias I have <username>@outlook.com but that did the same thing.Ok, I got through the process... of getting back to Skype Community after merging, which is not as easy as it seems. Beware of that! When you merge your accounts, you won't be able to get back to your Skype Community profile due to the merging process that somewhat deletes your "standalone" Skype profile. Your Skype community profile is account-based, not info-based. So even if you will still be using the same Skype name and the same e-mail address, you won't be able to login to your Skype community profile if you created it using your Skype-only account refering to the same e-mail address has your MS one. You will need to create a new Skype community nickname using a completely different e-mail address (like a Gmail or another hotmail, outlook,... that you own). But, doesn't matter if you don't plan to come back to the Skype community, everything else will be fine.
Here's the real stuff! Here are the steps to merge your Skype account with your Microsoft account even if you don't get the prompt asking if you already own a Skype account when logging in with your Microsoft account.
0. Make sure to log out on any Skype app that could still be connected to the service with either of your accounts
1. Go to Skype website and login using your Microsoft account
2. Once on your personal profile page, select "Account Settings" at the bottom of the page
3. Beside your Microsoft account that is listed on the page, click on "Unlink" and complete deletion process of this "ghost profile" (shouldn't be any contacts saved on this profile if you didn't add any contacts in Skype with your Microsoft account)
4. Go back to any Skype desktop or mobile app, login using the "Sign in with a Microsoft Account" option
5. Then, you should be asked again if you own a Skype account, click "Yes", then enter your Skype login information to proceed with the merge. -

Talk to your IT department. Worked just fine for my on my 4S with 6.0.1 and works just fine on my 5 with 6.0.2.

How do I make certain admin accounts unable to delete other accounts?
Basically I have an account on my sister's MBP and she threatens to delete all the time. I want to make it so that she can't delete my account. And no, I can't denote her to a standard user. What to do?
Nothing. All admin users have the same capabilities. Just get your own computer.

Merging with microsoft account
I had one skype account which I deleted because I didnt like the username. My microsoft account was merged with that skype account.
Now I have created a new Skype account and I want to merge the same microsoft account with this new skype account. But I am unable to do so.
When I try to login using microsoft credentials it just say that the account has been suspended for my security. I had two live chat with skype support but thay are unable to resolve the problem.under normal circumtances, one can easily unlink their Microsoft account with a certain Skype account (https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA12211/how-do-i-unlink-my-skype-and-microsoft-or-facebook-accounts), then merge it with another Skype username.
However, in your case, as it seems that there are possible issues related to your microsoft account, you may need to settle the issue first and only the customer support can assist you with that. You can try to contact them again to know what your possible options are.

Change Primary email address, delete Microsoft acc...
I have a stupid Microsoft account which I never wanted in the first place but somehow was forced into it with my new Windows 8 laptop. I want to get rid of this email address. But first I need to remove all accounts associated with it. SO...I would like to change the primary email on my Skype. I managed to add a second email. Done. But whenever I try to change it to the primary, it says 'ooops that's not correct even though it is. I read on another thread that if you sign into Skype with a Microsoft account, you can never change it. Is this true? And if so, if I delete my whole Microsoft account somehow, will that delete my Skype? Thanks in advance for your help.
P.S. If anyone knows how to contact a Skype official I would much appreciate it.Hi JT76

Getting 'Unable to verify account information' when attempting to setup Hotmail account
I enabled two-step verification today on my Hotmail email account. This is my one and only Outlook account and is my 'primary alias' which is correct. I am able to retrieve email on my iPhone and Windows PC just fine - have logged in and out several times today on the PC with no problem. However I now cannot get this account setup properly on my iPad, though it worked before today. I get the 'Unable to verify account information' message when I try to set up the account new again on iPad. (I was forced to try and delete and reset it up.)
Is this somehow related to the two-step verification? If so I will remove it and go back to single sign in. What do you advise for email on the iPad in this case?

I have an MS SharePoint Online (SharePoint Plan 2) team site, quite simple, one document library etc.
I have successfully added all users (E3) within the organisation to groups, and permissioned correctly.
I have added myself (separate organisation, also Office 365 E3) as an External User, and have access to the website without any problems by authenticating with my Organization account e-mail address.
I have a single user (separate organisation, also Office 365 E3), who's setup is identical to mine (Also Office 365 E3).
However, when this user is added as an External User, they are unable to login, and get "Sign In is not complete":

Issue Type: Partner User Invalid.
I then remove the user using the Site Collection, and using the PRofile Manager, and using Remove-SPOUser, and using Remove-SPOExternalUser. Which is great, he's gone. However when I go to add him back to a group, as soon as I type his e-mail address, it
'Resolves' into his full name! If I have completely(?) removed him form the site, how is he being resolved? And therefore me trying to remove him to re-add him to try and solve the user/directory/auth issue is not working.
Furthermore, upon clicking on said client's username inside SharePoint (after I've 'added him back' of course), his ID, in format: i:0#.f|membership|live.com#[email protected] has an entirely different e-mail address, his Microsoft Account!
I'm assuming he must have been already signed into his Microsoft Account when he clicked on the External User e-mail invite? If so, I clearly do not want this, how can I remove lal traces of his Microsoft Account, given that I have gone to the lengths as
detailed above?

Certainly, it makes sense that regardless of where the invitation it sent, the user would authenticate with their Microsoft ID.
In my case, I want the user to authenticate using their Microsoft Organisation ID, that they use for their seperate Office 365 account.
This is the way I was able to log in, and worked great. With my client, they are unable to access Sharepoint because once they sign in with their Microsoft Organisation / Office 365 ID, they are told they are not in the directory, because their Microsoft
ID is in the directory and it doesn't match up.
I am simultaneously trying to 1) Remove all traces of this users Microsoft ID, which so far using the above steps, has been unsuccessful; and 2) Invite the user using his Microsoft Organisation ID, and have him authenticate with that (which is proved to
work, as my account uses this).

Windows 8.1 Standard with Microsoft Account does not work with WSE 2012
I have a WSE 2012 machine with 3 users & 3 devices setup.
My Windows 8 (Standard) Laptop with Local User connects fine.
My Windows 8.1 (Standard) Nettop with Local User connects fine.
But my Windows 8.1 (Standard) Laptop with a Microsoft Account does not automatically login to the Server. It worked fine when it was running Windows 8 with a Local User but unfortunately in 8.1, MS decided to force a Microsoft Account login on us if I want
to continue to use Sky Drive! That would be fine, but now it wont login to their own server product...
I've tried adding a Windows Credential (set at Enterprise level) to the Credentials manager but it just gets forgotten on reboot.
If I log into the LaunchPad (which creates a temporary credential) then it works fine HOWEVER the "remember me" tick box is being ignored and the next time I restart the PC the LaunchPad is signed out again!
I've re-installed the connector.
I've removed the PC from WSE, un-installed the connector and then re-joined. (Done this twice, once as a local user and then converted to MS Account, and once as an MS Account.)
Basically, I just don't think WSE2012 with non-Pro versions of 8.1 on a MS Account have been tested and MS need to either fix it or document it. If someone could just get the LaunchPad to remember my local login and automatically start on next reboot then
it wouldn't be a problem. OR stop launch pad from deleting the manual credentials I added everytime I reboot. At the moment it's the worst of both worlds.

Thanks very much for replying, but if you re-read my post you'll see that I already know how to do that and also that I don't want to change back to a local account because I need Skydrive access.
Essentially as it stands, I can use Windows 8.1 with WSE but lose SkyDrive (and any other MS Account benefits) or I can use an MS Account with Windows 8.1 but lose permanent access to my server shares and client backups...
Reading around it seems that it's perfectly possible to have an MS Account and then do one of the following:
Use a Windows Credential stored for the local user to give access to the Server.
Set the LaunchPad to automatically log in at start-up.
If on a Domain, go into settings and Link the MS Account to your Domain Account.
Unfortunately none of these options are working for me (3 isn't even possible with 8.1 Std).
