Unable download updates from appstore

I have recently bought an mac mini with Lion OS and preinstalled iLife 11. When I on my mac mini for the first time. There are 3 updates (a red bubble showing 3) showing on the Appstore icon.
When I click on the updates, a message pop up saying You have updates available for other accounts and I need to sign in to the account I have purchased it. So can anyone please help me to solve this problem, cos the mac mini is preinstalled with iLife, and whose account should I use? Even I log out from my apple id. it still keep on saying the same thing.

I would need more information regarding the exact issue or errors received to provide a better answer. However, there are a couple things that I would recommend trying. I created apple Id, tried to download apps from appstore but problem is even apps is for free a message pops up saying my apple Id is not yet used in iTunes, and proceeds me to fill up form asking for a credit card account info. I don't have credit card. Please help.

I select the county and select done the screen loops for the county information.
*Things I have tried:*
- Updated billing information via iTunes on the Mac (Updates successfully) - but will still prompt for updates on the iPhone.
-Restarted iPhone (same)
-Erased iPhone and activated as new without restoring from backup (same)
-Contact iPhone support (no other advice then what happened here the first time) the second attempt at support has resulted in a call with iPhone and iTunes Support.
I will post back my findings, but has anyone found a solution.

The only difference I noticed was that the card that kept looping was a visa check card, verse a credit card (mastercard). I am not sure if there is a problem within the iPhone application. I don't believe this to be an iTunes or App store problem because the account profile will accept the card information via a computer. This problem seems to be within the address verification process the iPhone/app store does only on the iPhone platform. Apple support and iTunes support seems to be clueless. My original post is the only way I've gotten it to work.

I have searched these discussion rooms and am unable to find an answer that has worked for me.
My current situtation:
upgraded from 3gs to a WHITE IPHONE4 yesterday.
I have not jailbroken it.
I have updated itunes to 10.2.2 (current version)
I have updated all software on my computer
My firewall is disabled.
I have tried to restart my computer....
There are no other usbs running
I am connected to the internet
I even closed all programs
I am using a MacBook (10.6.7)
I STILL AM UNABLE TO UPDATE FROM 4.3.1 to 4.3.3
Please... help me... what am I doing wrong?

firmware and ispw files were all okay
Apparently the hosts file had that ##.apple.com address
Had to delete that... it wouldn't let me save changes...
to do that... had to download text wrangler... T_T
Finally got it to work!
It was a long process but thank you very much for your help!

I just posted this for someone else that asked the same question. this worked for me today.
I figured out a workaround for this today. when you go into the App Store, don't go into "updates" (those apps in waiting status won't even show that they're there waiting for updating), go to the "purchased" tab. Each app that is sitting in waiting status now how a little cloud with a down arrow. Tap the cloud and the app will update. You can only do one at a time because it seems to tax the system if you tap them all together. mine were in waiting status for 5 hours. all apps were updated within 10 minutes once I did this.

Hi, I'm unable download apps from app stores. After clicking "install" it is prompting to enter my apple pw, then the icon is appearing on the desktop of iphone but the downloading is not progressing at all. Also, i'm not receiving any error message. Can someone help me out to fix this problem.

It just gets stuck with the status as 'waiting' when I try to update or download an app from the App Store. I Tried restarting the phone and also tried checking the location from the general settings. It didn't work.

What do you mean you can't write HTML5 code? Are you working within an HTML5 doc type?
To make HTML5 your default doc type, go to Edit > Preferences > New Document. Click on screenshots below.
To create a new page, go to File > New > Blank page > HTML. Select none from the 3rd column. Select HTML5 doc type. Hit Create button.

I just clicked download Lion from AppStore, however, due to internet connection, it didn't finish with downloading the correct size and aborted. When I tried to install, it says download file is damaged. How can I re-download it ??

Hi, Thanks for the clarification.
I also intended to burn OSX "Lion" to DVD, however like many others found that the install package had vanished after installing "Lion".
I managed to re-download "Lion" after installing by opening the "App Store", then holding down "Option" key and clicking on purchased items (Keep holding down "Option" key). From purchached apps, "Lion" had now changed from "Installed" to "Install". While still holding down the "Option" key, I clicked "Install" and Lion is now downloading as we speak.
Again, thanks for the clarification. I had seen that you could download "Lion" again from the App store on other forums, however the process wasn't explianed very well and I couldn't quite get it to work.
I hope this helps others who are stuck.

Try the following
First of all, uninstall your current version of HP Support Assistant by using the Microsoft 'Fixit' on the following link - this is particularly useful in correcting issues that may prevent reinstallation on machines running a 64bit OS.

When this has completed, restart the notebook.
Next download and install the latest version of HP Support Assistant from the page on the link below - the download links are towards the bottom of the page.

I can't download updates from the update option in PS CS 5.1.

I can't download updates from the update option in PS CS 5.1. Also having trouble installing the update directly from ADOBE. The program is crashing my system on a regular basis. Anybody got any ideas?

It might help if you were a bit more specific, e.g., ''I chose Help - Updates, and this happened, then that happened, then an error message that stated 'xxxxxx' was displayed''.
It could also help others help you if you'd describe your system - what kind of hardware, what operating system, etc. One good way to do that is to choose Help - System Info in Photoshop, then copy and paste the info into a post here.

That cryptic error message might mean that the payment information in your account is invalid. Check with your credit-card issuer to see whether a charge was denied. If not, see below.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free content without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)
