Unable to accept new App store terms and conditions

Hello, i just bought a Macbook Air 13" with OS X Yosemite, and I am trying to buy an app from the App store. However, it's asking me to accept the new terms and conditions, but when I click on "accept", nothing else happens, and I am not able to confirm. So every time I try to buy an app it keeps asking the same question. I have tried to disconnect and reconnect my App store account, as well as restarting my Mac, but nothing changes.

1. Make sure you scroll all the way to the end of the agreement before trying to click Accept.
2. Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
~/Library/Cookies/com.apple.appstore.cookies
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Quit the application if it's running. Move the selected item to the Trash. Relaunch the application and test.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

  • App Store terms and conditions

I have just updated my iPad to IOS 6 and am trying to purchase a free app.  After I have logged in with my apple ID I am asked to agree to the new terms and conditions but I cannot email them to myself and when I click on agree the message "your session has timed out" appears even when I agree straight away.
What can I do to get past this problem?

Well apparently this is happening in the Windows iTunes App Store as well.

    Hi man with problems,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If you have not already, be sure to try restarting and, if that doesn't resolve it, resetting your iPhone. See this article for help:

If you still see a "cannot connect to server" message, try the steps in this article next:

  • Where is the "accept" button for iTunes Store Terms and Conditions on the iPad?

Where is the "accept" button for iTunes Store Terms and Conditions?  Can't use iTunes on my iPad without accepting conditions.

Which tab in the iTunes app are you in ? If you are in the Downloads tab then the Ts & Cs link shows if you don't have any outstanding downloads - your download and synced films and TV shows should be in the Videos app and your music, audiobooks and audio podcasts in the Music app

Theres not accept button in the terms and conditions, so i cant download my film, what i can do? Help!

Do you mean in the Downloads tab in the iTunes app on the iPad ? If so, then the T&Cs only appear if there are no outstanding downloads available - if you've bought (or if you are in the US re-downloaded) any films on the iPad then they should have downloaded into the Videos app

  • I've downloaded movies from the iTunes store to my iPad but when I want to play them, I get the message... iTunes Store Terms and Conditions but when I follow the link it still doesn't let me play my movies. What am I doing wrong?

Easy maybe, but a lot of users are used to playing the movies in iTunes on their computers so that is the first place they turn to on the iPad.
    Enjoy the show!

  • TS1717 iTunes "Terms and Conditions Have Changed Before you can proceed you must accept the terms and conditions" is on an infinite loop.  No matter how many times I agree, when I go to update my apps the terms and conditions have changed link reappears.

Can anyone help me?  Suddenly (i.e. just a few minutes ago) this problem has appeared.  I attempted to update two apps on my iPad.  The Terms and Conditions agreement comes up, I read the terms and conditions, I agree to them, I click AGREE, it disappears, I reclick on update and the Terms and Conditions agreement appears and we start the mobius strip all over again.  I tried to see if it was just on my iPad by trying to download a new app on my iPhone.  same problem.  Anyone have advice on how to resolve this issue?  Oh, and of course, Apple has declared my two new devices to be out of warranty and want me to pay to ask how to fix a problem caused by their own software.  Lovely.  so helpful.  Hey Cupertino ... are you paying attention?  I might start tweeting about this.

I updated the software on my iphone4 tonight and ran into this same endless loop - "itunes terms & conditions have been changed" - go to itunes, aceept - back to the "T&C have been changed message" with no ability to do anything in the app store until I accepted the new terms.
While not a very direct solution, I was able to finally accept the terms in a way that seem to register with apple by making a purchase through iTunes on my computer. This forced me through updating my payment information and updating my iTunes software to the latest edition (which I had not yet taken the time to do).  After doing both of these, iTunes took me through the terms & conditions on two separate pages, but ultimately allowed me to purchase my song.  Once I completed these steps, it fixed the problem on my phone, so now I can update my apps and download new ones without running into that loop.
    Hope this helps!!!

  • HT4539 Where is the Accept button on iTunes terms and conditions

WHereis the Accept  on iTunes Terms and Conditions

In regards to IOS7, if your inquiries have led you here:
I had the same issue where the "accept" button never showed up.
I alleviated my issue by accident. I read a review that mentioned country bound issues.
So I decided to go to the manage>change country link at the bottom of my iTunes account page.
I changed it to the United States (even though I believe it was already set to that).
Then once again I tried to download an app in iTunes and on my iPhone 4s, and it worked.
I'm not sure if that was the issue, or if what I read about a massive influx of users attempting to use apple's servers or something like that was the problem. Either way, it works. I hope this works for you too, I know I was SUPERBLY frustrated after a day of the problem.
P.S. I downloaded the IOS 7 before updating my itunes to 11.1.
I think that caused the issue.
My first step after encountering my issue was updating my itunes to 11.1.
Then I tried to download an app and I accepted the terms and conditions on itunes instead of my phone.
    THEN I changed the country.
    PPS!! haha.
I turned my iPhone off while I attempted to download an app post-country change.
I'm not sure if that was important, but that's what I did.
also, the apps downloaded after all this will be in cloud FYI. Just download them to your phone from App Center>updates>purchased

  • I can not find the accept box for itunes terms and conditions.

It asks me to accept the iTunes terms and conditions. I am expecting to see an accept indicator to activate or check. But nothing. Pls help

OK? I just wanted to make sure because it is a family common mistake that other users have made in the past.
What are you trying to download - not that it really matters. Can you quit or clear put of what you are doing? Is there a cancel option?
Do you see a spinning wheel by any chance?

Reset: Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons and don’t let go until the screen goes dark and the Apple logo appears (no data will be lost)

  • IOS8 Installation Hung at Terms and Conditions

I began installing iOS8 on my iPad Air. I have a gray page that reads "iCloud Drive" at the top. In the center is a white screen that reads "Terms and Conditions," then "Send by Email." Below, conditions are listed. At the bottom are two choices - "Agree" or "Disagree." Pressing either does not advance the process. If I press the home button, I get a response: "iPad Not Set Up" below which is "Continue." Pressing "Continue" gets me nowhere.

I just bought an iPad 2 and have the exact same problem. I downloaded 3 podcasts from iTunes (free) and they showed the download status in the download button but once completed I get the single clickable message "iTunes Store Terms and Conditions..." and nothing else. I cannot access my downloads. I logged into my iTunes account on my PC and downloaded the same podcasts but I still cannot do anything on my iPad in iTunes. I can download Apps (paid and free) from the App store without any issues.

I am installing the update to my iPhone 5.  I get to the point where I agree to the Terms and Conditions.  Then, nothing happens.  There's no "next".  If I hit the home button, my only option is an emergency call or to go back to the Terms and Conditions screen.
