Unable to access ACS

Good day,
We are having an issue with a couple of switches we have daisy chained off of each other. We have a 2960 8 port going to a 2950 24 port then to our core switch a 6507. The problem is we cannot authenticate to the ACS server attached to the 6507 from the 2960. We can however authenticate to the ACS from the 2950. We do have similar setups like this in different parts of our network that work. I have compared the configurations from theses switches and nothing stand out.

In such cases I find it useful to see if the packets are actually arriving at the ACS server. If you're running ACS on Windows, it's pretty simple to load Wireshark, start a capture and watch for the packets coming in during a failed authentication attempt.
I'm assuming you verified the obvious like the device's management IP being correctly entered and the tacacs key matching.
Common issues include:
a. the device sourcing from other than the expected IP address and thus not matching its definition in ACS. This can be fixed by either changing the device definition on ACS or using "ip tacacs source-interface" command on the switch.
b. the packets not arriving at all from the source device. This is usually caused by a network configuration error.
You can also debug tacacs on the switch while you try to authenticate to your ACS server.

I would do the troubleshooting in following sequence.
1. Put a wired PC on to the vlan allocated for WLAN1
2. Check whether wired PC gets an IP & can browse internet
3. If that works, then we know no issue of DHCP & not issue with L3/NAT routing to access internet
4. If step2, does not work then your issue is not within wireless, you have to change the focus of your troubleshoot.
5. If step2 works, then test a wireless client with OPEN Authentication (No ACS involvment).If this does not work,then it means wireless client does not get proper IP connectivity. Check dynamic interface configuration for this WLAN & make sure gateway addresses correctly configured. Also VLANs are trunk across to WLC from switch.
6. If step5 works, then try your client with ACS & see the client get successfully authenticated. If not it may be WLC to ACS issue. Troubleshoot that in that case.
Do some troubleshooting like this & let us know the outcome. I am sure you will abe to find out the issue easily in this way.

Unable to Access CSACS 5.3 Web Interface...

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to note an issue I ran into today with our MS Windows 7 workstations and 2008 servers being unable to access the web management interface on our instance of ACS 5.3 and its solution, which is outlined below:
###      The Problem      ###
When I tried accessing the web management interface on our ACS 5.3 appliance, the browser was unable to connect. NMS applications showed that the device was up and I was able access it via SSH. I then tried connecting to 443 via telnet on my workstation and was successful in establishing a connection. I proceeded to issue the "show application status acs" command showed all associated processes running. I had a co-worker attempt to access it and he ran into the same issue. I then proceeded to restart the ACS application by stopping and starting the associated processes. After the processes were back up, attempts to connect to the web management interface still failed. I then proceeded to reboot the appliance. Again, after the applicance and processes were back up, attempts to connect continued to fail. As a last ditch effort I used a portable version of Firefox to connect and was then successfully able to connect.
###       The Source        ###
After additional troubleshooting, it was discovered that the MS Internet Explorer patch associated with MS Security Advisory 2661254 just so happened to be the culprit. This restricts the use of certificates with RSA keys less than 1024 bits in length. The default management certificate just so happens to be 512 bits in length.
###          The Fix           ###
Using FireFox, I navigated to System Administration > Configuration > Local Server Certificates > Local Certificates. I then proceeded to add a certificate in the following steps:
Select Generate Self Signed Certificate & click next
Populate the Certifcate Subject field with the appropriate DN information of the ACS server.
Change the key length to 1024 or above.
Check "Management Interface: Used to authenticate the web server (GUI).
Check "Replace Certificate".
Click Finish.
The ACS server should then generate the new certifcate, replace the existing management certificate, and restart the ACS processes. After everything is back up, you shouldn't have any issues in accessing the web interface.

Hi there
I have version 5.7 and every time I opened it I was told that updates are available and to click on the icon to access these. Instead it just took me to the
adobe page with nowhere visible to update. I then sought to download lightroom cc and this is when I could not access the 'develop' section due to reduced
functionality It was apparent that my photos had been put in cc but no way to access them unless I wanted to subscribe.
I have since remedied the problem as my original lightroom 5.7 icon is still available on the desktop and have gone back to that. I do feel that this is a bit
of a rip off and an unnecessary waste of my time though.

Unable to access applications in workspace,shared services

Hi ,
I am Unable to access applications in workspace and shared services on EPM 11.1.1.3. It happened after normal shutdown/startup scripts were run.
But when I reconfigure the Weblogic web server and run the services again I can access the applications.This is happening frequently now.
Is this anything related to user profiles on the server as we are migrating these to other server.
Can any one help me with this .

Unable to access Home Hub 3.0 router

For some reason I am unable to access the router.
I normally type 192.168.1.254 into the address bar but have started getting the 'Internet Explorer cannot access the web page message'. Doesn't work on Chrome or Safari either.

Unable to access the data from Data Management Gateway: Query timeout expired

Since 2-3 days the data refresh is failing on our PowerBI site. I checked below:
1. The gateway is in running status.
2. Data source is also in ready status and test connection worked fine too.

Never mind, figured out there was a lock on SQL table which caused all the problems. Once I released the lock it PowerPivot refresh started working fine.

Unable to access jar file error !

i have built my netbeans project and obtained the hequalifies.jar file . unfortunately when i'm trying to run this jar file from the prompt command I'mgetting the error: unable to access jar file

when i obtained the .jar file i also obtained a README.txt file in which it is written the following phrase:

Unable to Access BI InfoSet in Crystal Reports using SAP Info sets driver

Hi,
I am looking to develop a report on top of BI InfoSet in Crystal Reports. However using the the SAP InfoSets driver I am only able to visualize 'Classic InfoSet' and 'SAP Query'. It does not show the option to import the regular InfoSet as a datasource. I am unable to access the InfoSet built by the db join on InfoCubes that is available in SAP BW System.

Friends I have a login.jsp page and I want if i enter username and password then it will be accessed from database and after verifying the details it will open main.jsp.I made a database as "abc" and created DSN as 1st_login having table 1st_login. 1-users created locally on CUCM and Enabled for IM and Presence.
2-able to login to clients (CUPS7/8.6 and Jabber) but getting error Voicemail Error. The server has rejected the provided credentials. [1903]
in order to verify there is nothing wrong with the credentials...i checked on unity and i am sure it's the PIN(12345) i need to use .

It's not looking for your PIN - that is only used over DTMF-based interactions - it's looking for your CUC password. If the mailbox is synced from LDAP and you have LDAP Auth enabled on CUC, then this would be your AD password. If it's synced over AXL, not synced at all, or LDAP synced but without Auth, then there will be an alphanumeric password field on the mailbox under Edit > Change Passwords.
