Unable to access Add-Ons Page after Firefox Security Update.

When I click the add-ons page (after installing the latest Firefox security update) (6.0.1 I think) I get a message that Firefox would show me nifty add-ons IF I WERE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET. I am connected. Only Firefox pages won't connect.

such things are often due to cookies - you can either clear all cookies, or use the filter/search to find 'live' and/or 'hotmail' ones - via Safari-Preferences-Security-Show Cookies.
Then quit safari & check again.

Any computer tech would know that it is likely not firefox causing this issue, but an incompatibility with a new ebay sign-in page and the firefox browser. The browser only does what the code on the page tells it to. I have seen the issue with other sites that work with IE or with Safari, but not firefox and some that work with firefox and IE but not Safari, it is the web developer's fault for the page that isn't working, not your browser.
---It is possible that it is a firefox issue, but it is most likely an issue with the webpage itself. I do not have a problem signing into ebay at all with firefox.

When i open the add ons page in firefox the pages do not display correctly the pages only show text and are in lists

All plug-ins and Adobe add-ons gone after this last update! I want them back!

I have 4 critical Topaz plug-ins and several Adobe add-ons that make my workflow so much easier but after this last update they've disappeared. I found the Adobe AO's briefly in 'Extensions' and Features needed an update, I did and then it disappeared! I restarted and now 'Extensions' has NOTHING in it! I want my stuff back! How do I do this?

Contribute will not edit web page after installing Security Update 2007-004

I have been unable to edit my web site with Contribute 3.11 after I installed the 2007-004 Security update. When I select the web page to edit the spinning beach ball appears and if I look in top it shows Contribute using 100% of the system. I have to do a force quit on it to be able to do anything.
Has anyone else noticed a problem with this or have a possible solution? Thank you.

Unable to access important website due to Firefox security error

I am trying to access my account on a financial services website that is very important to me. I get an Untrusted Connection screen from Firefox and when I click on "add an exception" nothing happens. How can I bypass BIG BROTHER and access this website? Thank you.

Is there anyone else that is unable to access their home wifi after the OVA update for the LG G3s?

I just recently got the update to my LG G3 phone and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. I cannot get on WiFi anywhere! Notification do not work! When is Android/Verizon going to fix this mess????

I keep getting a Yahoo DNS error handler page, and can't even access the add-ons page to disable it because it redirects me to the Yahoo DNS page immediately

I have already seen some suggested solutions to the problem of this extremely annoying Yahoo DNS error solutions page, but they involve going to the add-ons page of firefox and disabling various add-ons. The issue is that even when I try to go to the add-ons page I get immediately redirected to the Yahoo DNS solutions page again.
I have cleared my browser history and cache, hoping it would help, but nothing. Extremely annoying as I never installed anything - it simply started after a Firefox upgrade.

Firefox freezes when I access my add-ons page. I must use Task Manager to unfreeze it. Some add-ons (AdBlock) still work. Others (NetVideoHunter) don't. I followed your help directions on "Corrupt extension files" under "Unable to install add-ons", foolishly deleting the files you told me to. Now firefox won't open. I tried reinstalling firefox but it still won't open. Now what do I do?

I was trying to install the SEOQuake add on. After clicking install Firefox would hang up saying the script had timed out and asking if I want to stop it or continue. Didn't matter which option I chose nothing would happen. The only way to stop it was to close Firefox and restart. Tried restarting the computer. Still wouldn't install. Tried installing the Outwit add on and got the same error leading me to conclude it was a problem with Firefox, not the add on. You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.<br />

Pictures on Firefox add-ons pages will not load in Firefox but will in IE

My operating system is now Windows 7 on a new computer although I use Firefox, not IE to browse the internet. I am having problems on the Firefox website, especially the add-ons pages. If I click on any pictures relating to add-ons I get a blank page but if I switch to IE I can see the pictures. This is frustrating because I did not have this problem on my old, XP operated computer.

Hi - Just updated today with automatic 6.0.1 update and once I did, Firefox killed Adobe Reader. I fixed that but then found that opening the Tools, Add-Ons page locks up Firefox for a few minutes, then crashes it.

Although possibly not related to your problem, I will remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. Furthermore, it has known bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and usability. As for your problem, you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on.
