Unable to access Adobe support

I have a laptop on which I have installed CS5
The machine has died.
I have tried to follow the support trail through the web pages and having got to the "I cannot access my previous computer" when I click on 'contact us' I get taken back to the opening page.
How to I contact web chat?

What all workarounds have you followed till now?

    I'm getting redirected to Lithuanian version of support, and after filling the given form I get this email adress [email protected] which is not valid
    and answering your question... I did it with latest chrome and firefox, still getting the same reaction, so I think it's not the problem.
    I just need a valid Adobe support in Lithuania email adress.

    guess you're using sso-certificates...and on the machine it doesn't work there's something wrong with it...
    Ok, not really a solution, but may be a point to check...

  • Unable to access Adobe Story both desktop and online version

    i'm not able to sign into Adobe Story both desktop version - first it gave me this error -

    now when i try to sign in it just hangs on "processing" splash page
    when i try to log into online version - tried Chrome, Firefox and IE10, it doesn't seen to be able to connect to the server:
    Adobe Story app that i'm using is a part of Creative Cloud CS6, all other applications work fine, all latest updates installed.
    Story updated itself today when i opened it first, before today i didn't have any issues accessing either online or desktop version.
    If the issue is on Adobe server side, any idea when it will be resolved?

    The feature you are trying to use in on a network resource that is unavailable.I tried to redownload and get the same error message. In the meantime, I am unable to open PDF docs. Someone please help. I have an emergency situation where I need to print off this letter and can't open it because it's telling me to stop running adobe reader and I can't. Thanks

    It would help if you specified your operating system.
    If Windows, download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility; use it to remove the corrupted Reader installation.
    Download the Reader installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ and try again.

  • Unable to access Adobe Premiere download link after putting in redemption code.

    I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 and Premiere Elements 2.0 a couple years ago.  I purchased a new laptop and was able to download Photoshop.  However, I always get an error when I try to access the download link to Premiere.  Am I missing something?

    Here are the points that I am not clear on....
    1. As far as I know, there are no Premiere Elements 2 installation files to be downloaded from Adobe at this time. The exception
    might be if you purchased as download from Adobe with the promise that the files would be available to you in the future for another
    download if and when needed. That typically comes with a time limit of maybe 3 years (not sure). To follow up on that, you would
    go to the Adobe web site, sign in with your Adobe ID and Password, type "My Orders" in the Search field, follow the "My Orders" link
    until you get to your order specifically for Premiere Elements 2. That is the location where the installation files should be if still
    available.
    2. But "1" becomes questionable with your mention of redemption code. Adobe sales have typically given serial number not redemption code.
    This makes me think that you purchased from a retailer. But, then from where are you now trying to download these Premiere Elements 2 installation
    files.
    3. I do not believe that you are going to be able to install Premiere Elements 2 on Windows 8.1 64 bit. I have a purchased Premiere Elements 2
    installation disc, and later today I will try to install Premiere Elements 2 on my Windows 8.1 64 bit laptop.
    Do you have any other information on this which would put the matter into perspective for me.

    I recently installed Adobe Digital Editions on my pc to enable me to downloan an eBook from a publisher. I now wish to download the same eBook onto my Samsung tablet, but do not know how to install the Adobe ID onto that tablet. Any advice?    Stuart208

    You need to install a compatible third party app that can read Adobe drm books.
    Try Bluefire or Aldiko.  http://www.bluefirereader.com/  http://www.aldiko.com/
    You then transfer the book by copying using a file manager (eg Windows Explorer, Mac Finder) to the mounted drive.
    (With dedicated eReader devices you can usually transfer from ADE, but not with tablet devices with eReader app)

    adobe isn't letting me open up anything even though I have installed and re-installed the programme. The adobe page comes up quickly but you can't press on anything and it just disappears

    Some things to try...
    Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, then double-click on Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
    Can you open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try disabling Protected Mode [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)].
    If you cannot open Reader by itself, try to disable Protected Mode in the registry; download, unzip, then run the attached registry script

  • MY CC SUBSCRIPTION HAS BEEN SHUTDOWN  –  TOLD PAID BY ADOBE SUPPORT - UNABLE TO WORK

    I am currently shut down by Adobe. I can't use any products on the Creative Cloud. Adobe has had a gun to my head for the past 7 days and just pulled the trigger. I am currently unable to work. I have used 3 credit cards with Adobe on this account and all have failed at some time over the years that creative cloud has been in existence with one having to be terminated because of the hack issue. I've spent 3 days with Adobe support this week and now I'm on my fourth day of several hours each day trying to get this solved. It started on December 12th when my auto payment wasn't accepted and I received an email to please update my payment information. I checked and nothing had changed and just re-entered the same correct information. The cloud apps still worked but I was getting the dreaded countdown timer. On December 15th I had 27 Days left. On December 15th on another machine I had 26 Days left. On December 16th, I didn't get the countdown timer on any machines. On December 17th, I had 25 days left. Then after speaking on the 4th day with Adobe Support (800-833-6687) and being assured that everything is fine, ignore the timer, your payment has gone through and been accepted, I received an email from Adobe Creative Cloud that my Creative Cloud membership has transitioned from Paid to Free. What happened to the 25 days I had 4 hours ago? That made me have to call Adobe Support again that day and listen to another agent (names are available if needed) tell me that everything is fine your payment has gone through ignore all emails and messages. I will check back with you tomorrow to make sure all is ok.
    December 18th - TODAY MY CREATIVE CLOUD ACCESS HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN. That means none of the Adobe applications will work. All that happens is the Application Manager opens with the countdown timer two big red 00's saying "Please Check Your Billing Info." anytime I try to open an Adobe application This means nothing works. I can't perform any business design functions. NO ACCESS TO CLIENT FILES ON THE CLOUD. Supposedly you have 30 days to take care of billing problems. I went from 25 days to 0 days in one day. Shutdown. The Adobe Customer Service Agent has not called back yet today. By the way my bank paid Adobe $53.14 on December 15th. Adobe also charged a temporary authorization on December 17th of $1.00. It's very hard to keep my true feelings suppressed about the past 6 days events.

    Try the following Steps:
    open activity monitor and close all Adobe related applications
    navigate to: /Library/Application support/Adobe
    In that directory you will see a folder named OOBE - Rename that folder to OOBEold
    Navigate to: MAC HD /Application/Utilities directory
    In there you will see a folder called "Adobe Application Manager" - delete it
    Download the Adobe Cleaner Tool from here: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems/_jcr_conte nt/main-pars/accordion_container_1/accordion-par/accordion-item-1/accordion-item-par/proc e dure/proc_par/step_3/step_par/download/file.res/AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.zip
    Open the Cleaner Tool and choose to clean "Creative Cloud" only.

    '''I think I solved it myself yesterday, indirectly''' by deleting a Googleupdater.exe file dated 042511. It has been over 24 hours now and no sign of the 'Just-In-Time Debugger' pop-up. Whew...it was incessant.
    Not sure how I got the Googleupdater.exe file on my computer. I did download Microsoft Security Essentials to help find the JIT problem, but it failed to install properly and run. The next day I remembered it probably only runs on Internet Explorer (which we deleted in 2009) after testing out Firefox. I then also deleted Security Essentials.
    I also downloaded on April 25th the free version of MS Visual Basics because I read on eHow that you can adjust settings in the 'TOOL' menu to stop JIT Debugging pop-ups. However, the free version was 'MS Visual Studio Basic 2008 Express Edition - SP1' which did NOT provide access to JIT Debugging settings (so it was not a solution).
    I must say I switched Internet Security programs to AVAST! on TU | Apr26th and love it so far. Highly recommend looking into AVAST! ver 6.0 at CNET downloads - free. The anti-virus program is free, but everything else costs about $30US for a year. WORTH IT Love the options | settings | flexibility|user friendly windows.
    Trend Micro was then deleted. It had always blocked usage of our internal CD|DVD drive. To use the CD|DVD drive we had to shut off Trend Micro and then turn it back on again after we finished using the CD|DVD drive. NOT a preference - for sure. Jaykay

    Not seen that message before, but two standard suggestions that may help.
    1) ~~~~~
    Sometimes ADE gets its registration/activation confused and in a semi-authorized state.
    Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help.
    Unfortunately, it often then gives misleading error messages about what is wrong.
    A common incorrect message informs you that the ID is already in use on another computer and cannot be reused.
    This can often be resolved by completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to the Library screen on ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).
    Restart ADE, and then reauthorize with your (old) Adobe ID.
    In extreme cases on the mac, the following extra step has helped some people.  Navigate to /Users//Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash.     2) ~~~~~~~~~
    There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0 (and 2.0.1).  Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
    (You can have them both installed at once if you like.)
    Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

    Some people have found ADE trying to upgrade automatically. 
    It appears (not 100% sure) that if you install ADE2.0 as a new install (not as an upgrade) that your 1.7.2 will continue to run.
    Probably best to say no if 2.0.x installation asks if you want to migrate your library.
