Unable to Access Emails or delete Existing account

I changed by password about a week ago and unable to access email or delete existing account.
Error message in Edit Account screen " Your login information for account (Yahoo) has changed or is incorrect. Update your login information and try again."
Whenever I try to delete account this is the error message am getting "There was an error deleting your account."
Help!!!!!!!!

Change the password in Yahoo! again, to something simple, and then try updating the password on the device again.

    If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

So it's 34,000 e-mails. Its an old account. I'm trying to learn the new social technologies, the iPad. I need to convert the old .pst email files to work with whatever the technologie is that Apple uses. At this point it APPEARS that O2M (Outlook 2 Mac seems to be the answer to the problem). changes .pst to .mbox records...
    Then I'll deal with contacts and schedule (I believe Pockect Informant seems to be the answer here) when this is finished. At the rate I'm going iPad 6 will be coming out...
    So, I've been dealing with this for a couple of weeks now and would like to get it soloved!
    I just couldn't find a way to import anything!

    I never set up security questions with my account and now it keeps asking for answers. When I try to reset these questions it tells me I need a rescue address. How do I set up a rescue email address on an existing account?!

    You cannot and need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
    They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

  • I am unable to access my Amercian Express online Account?

    Windows XP Pro 2002, service pack 3
    Firefox v20.0.1
    Two days ago, I found myself unable to access my American Express on-line account, with Firefox. As I attempt to login and I am unable to connect to https://online.amercianexpress.com... I have successfully accessed the account with Chrome.
    I have tried the following in my troubleshooting efforts (not necessarily in this order):
    I have cleared all cookies and exceptions
    I have cleared "Cached Web Content" and "Offline Web Content and User Data"
    I turned off AddBlock Plus for americanexpress.com and in my last attempt; I turned it off for all sites
    I tried to access the site in Safe Mode, to no avail
    I turned off "Tell websites I do not want to be tracked"
    I have set to "Allow", in my exceptions, americanexpress.com and online.americanexpress.com
    Any other suggestions?

    I reset Firefox and the problem has been resolved.

  • Why am I unable to access my new Post Office Account they state that you will not allow and I will have to use Internet Explorer why?

    I have just opened a new account with the Post Office but I am unable to access this on the net. Telephoned Customer Services but say that I will not be able to access through Firefox and will have to use Internet Explorer. Going back to Internet Explorer is not something I want to do because I like Firefox, please explain why Firefox is blocking access if this is true. I have clicked 'allow' but it made no difference and the only message coming up is "timed-out" when I have been much less than 5 mins putting security details. Please advise. Paula

    I doubt if Firefox is blocking access. More than likely, that website is made to use ActiveX, or other proprietary Microsoft code, that only Internet Explorer can handle.
    If you post the address of that "Post Office" website, maybe one of us support helpers can figure out the exact reason for that.

  • Lost Sent Emails after deleting old account

    Hello there.
    What I had and did: I had a .com.ar account (from now on the .AR account) and just bought a .biz domain that I intend to start using from now on.
    Both accounts are hosted by the same people and the .biz will receive the same emails that the .AR can receive. This is, if you send to any of the .AR or .BIZ, I will receive both in my MAC Mail.
    In order for this to happen, I added the .BIZ account to Mac Mail. No problem.
    Then, I made a mistake and deleted the .AR account settings. (I deleted the account with all its settings) When I found out after this, that I couldn´t find my old .AR Sent emails, I tried Re-creating the .AR account in my Mac Mail but ... the sent emails were not there.
    Is there a way to recover those sent emails?

    I have added the account again, but only last 2 weeks emails pop back in.
    It’s like a brand new account. No folder, no history. 
    It was a pop account and store emails for a long time.
    any advance solution?

  • Unable to access emails and address book using Firefox 5, but not using explorer

    Since installing the latest updated version of Firefox, I can log into my Tiscali email account, but once there I cannot open my emails. Instead of saying 'You have (number) new emails' it says 'You have unspecified new emails'. If I click on Inbox or 'Check new mail', nothing happens at all. Also, if I try to access my address book either to read or edit it again nothing happens.
    Emails works perfectly well using Windows Explorer, which would suggest that the problem does not lie with my ISP (Talktalk) or my Tiscali email account.

    You can install both your accounts in Thunderbird and then simply move messages from one to the other. You then have the choice to continue using Thunderbird, or to switch using Gmail via its own website.
    Address Books are a bit harder to transfer. I'd suggest you go to the msn account, in your browser, and seek options to download or export your address book there. I expect it will offer CSV as an option, and vcard format is a possibilty. Both of these can be imported into Thunderbird and into Gmail.

    I have several email accounts all at the same domain. They have worked flawlessly for 2 years until today,
    I am no longer able to receive mail on these accounts using BT Broadband however when I switch to my mobile broadband I am able to receive my mail as usual.
    I contacted BT who remotely changed my Send details even though sending mail was working fine till the changes. I have returned the Send settings back to where they were.
    Please does anyone have an idea what could be wrong.

    No my email is with daily.co.uk and my mobile bb is TMobile.
    I have reset all my settings and can send/receive using TMobile. I can send using mail.daily.co.uk but am unable to receive when using BT BB.
    My mail was working fine this morning

  • 5s stopped accessing email for only one account but still accesses it for others on same server

    My 5s quit accessing one email account but continues to access the other account.  Both accounts use same provider and servers. Any ideas on what has happened? Have re-entered account several times as well as powered down the phone.

    Go into Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select the account you are having trouble with. Select the incoming mail server and double-check the username and password. Verify it is being used in all of the correct locations. If it is sending alright, then you do not have to worry about the SMTP server settings.

    I'm trying to get into my Skype that was created with an email address I can no longer access, I know they screen name, I just cant figure out the password, and when I click on the "can't access account" it takes me to a place where I type in my email... but thats the problem..     @sanjampet: I have already read the link you provided and none of the solutions work, which is why I posted here.
    Safe mode just doesn't activate. I hold shift for as long as possible until eventually I get the prohibited symbol. When I hold shift I see the apple logo and loading icon and then eventually prohibited symbol, its as if I wasn't holding shift at all, which makes me wonder if the shortcut is even correct? And I know its not a problem with my keyboard or my timing of pushing shift because holding alt/option works as usual.
    Holding C to load from the installs disc doesn't work either, which eliminates all the solutions based on that. Its the same as safe mode - I hold the button until I eventually get prohibited symbol.
    I also tried selecting my Mac hd via holding alt key - same result: prohibited symbol.
    I also tried selecting my installs disc via holding alt key and a strange thing happens: I see the apple logo and loading wheel but this time it is stuck on the apple logo and loading spin thing for about 20 minutes while there is lots of noise and activity coming from the CD drive..
    I also tried resetting the NVRAM/PRAM, which DID seem to have an affect (screen was brighter + startup sound was louder) but I still see the prohibited symbol like all the other times.
    I'm yet to be able to get past the prohibited symbol, the only way around it so far is to load the windows partition if my HD.

    When my husband bought IPhone 4S last year like mine we could not sync it and share our business email account and 250 business contacts. It wiped out everything in my IPhone and was a mess. Can you share an email account and contacts between two IPhones? Only thing is, we don't want each other's music. He still uses an old fashion phone because we can't be a two-IPhone household (home-based business) and share the same emails and contact information. What's up with that?

    Not sure I understand.  You can set it up however you like.
    You can certainly share contacts and e-mail while not sharing anything else.
    Ope itunes, connect iphone, select the contact program/service that you would like, select the calendar service program and calendars,  select the music, photos, apps, books, etc,  sync.  Set up whtever e-mail address(es) you like on the iphone itself.
    Do the same for all of the other idevces that you like.

    How do I get image puzzles to load in order to be able to send aol.com email messages. Today I am not able to send emails because aol is having me solve an image puzzle. The problem is, is that an image puzzle does not load up, thus I cannot send emails. How to fix this? Tools, then what?

    Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > account name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email account and password and see if it then works
