Unable to access Prefs/Formats on my TX
All of a sudden my formats-settings are playing crazy...
And I am unable to access formats from the Prefs page! Every time I try the device performs a soft reset.
Any suggestions? Would be highly appreciated!

Hi, and welcome to the Palm Community Forums.
It sounds like something has gotten corrupted, or perhaps you recently installed a third-party application which is not playing nicely with the TX.
You will probably have to Hard Reset the TX. You will still be able to reload all of your PIM data and third-party applications, but you'll have to do so manually. It's really not that big a deal, though you will have to re-enter third-party activation or registration codes. The Palm Support article linked below describes the procedure for diagnosing a problem or conflict caused by corrupted system file or a third-party application It basically involves going into your desktop folders, renaming the Backp folder to Backupold, then Hard Resetting, Hotsync, and reinstalling third-party apps one at a time:

I am unable to access my mail account on my iphone, which I have been able to do previously. I press the mail icon, the page refreshes to the mail format page - blue bar top and bottom, white text space in the middle.... and that is as far as it goes. It does not list my email accounts or offer any.
Close the mail app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.

Now unable to access infocube(keyfigure model) data in multi area. Here my taget cube is based on account model.

I'm already using standard area SPROPLAN in another multi-area, in that multi-area consists of 2 cubes both are based on key figure model only and correctly able to access the data for that application requirement, but here i'm not able to access SPROPLAN cube's data. I checked with different combinations. Any suggestions....

Keyfigure ZCRUSHING of SPROPLAN plannning area is already accessed in just above mentioned mulit-area, is because of this, am i getting the problem? Is there any refresing setting i have to mention?...thanks

I need to revert the security settings back to the way they were BEFORE the update because now I am unable to access my secured work website (that I was on yesterday) to actually do work. When I attempt to go to my log-in page I get the following message:

Under Snow Leopard I used a WD My World NAS to back up my Mac Pro (Mid 2010). When I upgraded to Lion I am unable to access the backup because the NAS does not yet support AFP. I have now bought a Time Capsule and want to transfer the old backup onto it.
How can I recover the NAS back up to put on my new Time Machine.

Any thoughts or pointers?Keep the old OS around and just kick the tires and test new OS. Apple has a history and habit of breaking support in things like this.
You can use TimeMachine as one level of backup, and even there there were changes with Lion, I would always recommend foremost backup clones of every volume. And clone (SuperDuper etc) can be stored on something like HP NAS Media Server which also was supporting TimeMachine, iTunes - until Apple made that harder and more their own proprietary format.

Rather than "upgrade" I would clone the system, and do a clean install, then allow Setup Assistant to import your files.

Unable to access Airport Extreme Disk With Vista
I have a network with a Mac Book Pro, G5, and now a Vista PC all connected to an Airport Extreme. Connected to the AE are a printer and two harddrives. The harddrives are formatted HFS+ Journaled. All three computers have access to the Internet and to the printer. The Vista computer is unable to access the harddrives (most of the time). Prior to the Vista machine I had an XP Pro machine that was able to access the AE without any problems at all. The Vista machine will occasionally be able to access the drives but only for approximately 60 seconds. Access, when it does occur, is typically after a reboot of the AE. Following a reboot, I can map the AE drives to drive letters or simply access them from networking for from IE.
I've tried turning off the Windows firewall as well as the McAfee one and still no solution.
I've tried everything I can think of as well as scanned message boards to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated.am having similar problems with USB drive connected to airport extreme. I tried with a usb key and it can only be seen by the airport base station agent and computers on the network if it is formatted using FAT32 file system. if I use any other file system to format the usb key, it cannot be seen. I have some external hard drives that windows will not allow me to to format using fat32. they are NTFS formatted and are not usable.
You might try formatting your drives in FAT32 if you can, after backing up all the files you have on the drive. then see if it works. -

The installation file provided by Mozilla in .tar.bz2 format does not contain sources but pre-compiled binary files, therefore you can simply unpack and run them. There is no need to compile the program from source.

Safari created an incorrect user name for my hotmail account and I am unable to access it
I have a hotmail email account that I recently had to reset the password. Safari created the wrong user name leaving of one letter ("l) and I am unable to access the account. I am also unable to manually change the user name; it keeps referring back to the incorrect name. I have Safari 7.1 on my MacBook Pro. I have been in contact with hotmail at Microsoft and they have been unable to help me further and indicate I must bring this to Safari support which I am doing. If I use another browser (Firefox) I am able to get into the account but it would be nice to have this back on Safari. Appreciate help.
LJBrownI was able to locate the source in Website Data.....it was set up via mail.live.com through Microsoft/Outlook. They have changed their format considerably very recently. Anyway removing that one entry (.live) and then using a new password I was able to bring up the original email program although it's no longer known as Hotmail but Outlook. So I guess the problem was in Safari...I don't know how that user name was changed. It may have been a typo error on my part and the corrupted name was maintained by Safari? Anyway all is good now. I have noticed that actually Windows 7 in different occasions "don´t like" formated memory cards by phones instead of windows own formating tool.
Well, have seen this a couple of times over the years....well, just a thought here...perhaps not helpful at all....
Nokia says that the phones should be formated inside the phone instead of operatings system of computers...
PS I am syncing over the air with Fumanbol, such as contacts, calender, notes and todo....and outlook on the pc:s..like it clean....never bother the simcard or speciality folders... DS

Reset to factory defaults using JL_Cmder. Media card was encrypted, now unable to access mediacard
I bought my 8300 used and was unhappy to see a IT policy was in place. After searching and searching the only way to succesfully remove the IT policy (FULLY) was by restoring the phone to factory default using JL_Cmder. I backed up my data, wiped the device, and restored my data. After I rebooted I started getting an error warning that the media card is encrypted to another device and I am unable to access any of the previously encrypted files. My media card was set to encrypt by Device, and its still the same device, just wiped.
How can I remove the encryption or get my media card to recognize that it is still the same device?if you have the ability to plug the media card into your PC, copy the data off it. then format it, put it back in device, format it again, then xfer data back over.

I have version 5.7 and every time I opened it I was told that updates are available and to click on the icon to access these. Instead it just took me to the
adobe page with nowhere visible to update. I then sought to download lightroom cc and this is when I could not access the 'develop' section due to reduced
functionality It was apparent that my photos had been put in cc but no way to access them unless I wanted to subscribe.
I have since remedied the problem as my original lightroom 5.7 icon is still available on the desktop and have gone back to that. I do feel that this is a bit
of a rip off and an unnecessary waste of my time though.

I am unable to access iCloud because my iPhone states that my Apple ID and\or password is incorrect. Based on Apple's own policy my current ID and P/W should be fine to access iCloud. Any suggestions?

Unable to access applications in workspace,shared services
Hi ,
I am Unable to access applications in workspace and shared services on EPM 11.1.1.3. It happened after normal shutdown/startup scripts were run.
But when I reconfigure the Weblogic web server and run the services again I can access the applications.This is happening frequently now.
Is this anything related to user profiles on the server as we are migrating these to other server.
Can any one help me with this .

Try clearing your browser cache (on all 3) or power the hub down for a minute or two, switch it back on, allow all the lights to go blue and try again.
