Unable to access repository [USR0013]

Question

Hi guys. When trying to logging to the remote repository (I'm working from the office on a remote server owned by the customer) using BOXI 3.0 Designer (from a PC with Windows XP SP2), the following error is being displayed:
repo_proxy 13 SessionFacade::openSessionLogon with user info has failed(CMS host address has been resolved properly, but it cannot be reached to establish a connection with CMS. Verify that port 8080 on router/firewall is open (hr=#0x80042a01).
I've read all threads dedicated to this issue, doing what is described within them (disabling firewall, other things, etc.), What puzzles me is that a colleague of mine, with an identical configuration, has no issues connecting and I'm the only one who is unable to connect to that repository.
BTW, I've got the same problem when I'm trying to connect to the server using Query As a Web Service.
Did anyone have ideas on what I can do to solve this issue?

Hi Fabio,
First of all check whether the machine can ping your BusinessObjects Server, and vice versa,
and whether they are in the same domain or not.
Log on to the Central Configuration Manager (CCM). Stop the CMS.
Click Properties for the CMS. At the end of the command line add following two switches:
"-port <FDQN>:6400 "
"-requestport 6401"
Stop the Input FRS in the CCM. Click Properties.
Add the following two switches at the end of the command line:
"-port <FDQN>:6400"
" -requestport 6402"
Open the Hosts file in a Notepad from "C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc"
And add the IP address followed by the host name.
i.e. 127.0.0.1 localhost
      172.16.9.72 d-3278boxir2.botest.com
Then save the file.
Stop the CMS from the Central Configuration Manager and then in the Command Line in the Properties Tab add "-port fully qualified domain name":6400 before -restart.
i.e. -port mytest.botest.com:6400
Restart the terminal.
Stop the CMS
