  • Unable to access certain links in EBS

    Hi,
Facing an issue with opening some links under a responsibility in EBS (R12). Some links open up. So not an access issue.
Form server is up and running.
Can anyone suggest what the issue could be ?
    thanks in advance
    Edited by: user10307245 on Apr 7, 2011 4:49 AM

Please post the details of the application release, database version and OS.
Do you get any error when accessing those links?
Is the issue with specific responsibility? If yes, please mention the navigation path.
Was this working before? Any change have been done recently?
Please make sure you have no invalid objects in the database. Also, check Apache/Database log files for any errors. You may also check Sun JRE console window ffor any exceptions you get when you click on those links.
    Thanks,
    Hussein

Also make sure that your computer has the required libraries installed. Missing libraries will cause Firefox to be inoperable.
''Please note that GNU/Linux distributors may provide packages for your distribution which have different requirements.''
'''Firefox will not run at all without the following libraries or packages:'''
    * GTK+ 2.18 or higher
    * GLib 2.22 or higher
    * Pango 1.14 or higher

The installation file provided by Mozilla in .tar.bz2 format does not contain sources but pre-compiled binary files, therefore you can simply unpack and run them. There is no need to compile the program from source.
So once you run it with all dependencies, Firefox should run.

in order to verify there is nothing wrong with the credentials...i checked on unity and i am sure it's the PIN(12345) i need to use .
Can Anyone help me out here...Thanks in advance.

It's not looking for your PIN - that is only used over DTMF-based interactions - it's looking for your CUC password. If the mailbox is synced from LDAP and you have LDAP Auth enabled on CUC, then this would be your AD password. If it's synced over AXL, not synced at all, or LDAP synced but without Auth, then there will be an alphanumeric password field on the mailbox under Edit > Change Passwords.

Using the personal hotspot feature on the iPhone 5, I am able to connect to the internet.  We also use Juniper NCP client to access our local system from a remote location.  A VPN connection is created, but I am unable to access servers in our network.  This same functionality works using my colleagues iPhone 4.
Both phones are running iOS 6.1.3.  I tried to reset network settings, but still unable to ping servers in our network.  This is a feature that our sales team relies heavily on when out of the office.  Hoping someone has some suggestions on what is different between the 2 phones.

    Hi,
Generally, this issue should be related with something called split tunneling, since you’re using a F5 vpn client, you need to look for something related to split tunneling in the F5 VPN client's documentations.
Here is an example, share it with you as a reference.

  • After updating to 10.4.11 unable to access certain site.

Since I updated to 10.4.11 I am unable to access the site: www.wdwinfo.com. My wife would listen to a podcast hosted by the site. iTunes just keeps spinning away that it's looking. I tried all four browsers on my machine to see if I could reach the site (Safari, Camino, Firefox and Flock). I cleaned all caches and histories. I am able to get to the site on my ipod touch on my neighbours open wifi. I can even ping the site on my machine and get a response but as far as my browsers and iTunes are concerned they just sit there waiting to connect. I called my ISP and they can get the site no problem. I tried another computer in the building that is with the same provider and they have no problem. All other websites and podcasts work fine.
I'm running 10.4.11 on an 1.83GHz Intel iMac.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Mark

The 216.167.116.52 address worked for about an hour while I downloaded the podcasts and then stopped working. I entered the DNS Server number you mentioned in the network settings but I'm still back to no access.
The setup I am working with is ExpressVu TV/Internet for condos. The phone company (Bell) setup a main frame in the building and provide my TV and internet over the same cable. The motorola box set top box had a modem installed into it when they were setting it up. Ethernet from it to my Mac. In my network setting it shows that there is a router in the path. Would the router trump me putting in the DNS numbers? I'm guessing the router is sitting at the mainframe in the building.

  • 10.6.2 - Unable to access Wildcard SSL websites as Regular User, Admin OK

    Hello,
I ran into a weird problem with Snow Leopard 10.6.2 after some of the recent updates on Snow Leopard 10.6.2:
*If using a standard user account (one that cannot administer the machine), I am unable to access any SSL enabled website that uses a wildcard certificate*
If I switch to the main account (or any account that can administer the computer) then all is OK and the wildcard SSL website comes right up!
Here is a website to test on: https://vsi.powerschool.com (it uses a *.powerschool.com wildcard certificate)
This behavior started just recently, as apple must have done some changes, but I cannot seem to find a fix, can anyone PLEASE help?
    Thanks in advance!
    Stefan.

I did get a "stock" response from Apple support, and I am pasting it below.
While it may help some of you, for me it is NOT a solution. It is as if Apple does not even want to acknowledge this major bug.
I temporarily got around the problem by identifying that the parental controls are actually blocking DNS resolution, and not access to the sites themselves!
Therefore, I added the wildcard SSL website to the /etc/hosts file with it's corresponding IP address as to bypass DNS lookups for it. As long as the IP address does not change all will be OK, so I still do not consider this a fix.
    =========== Apple Response ==========
+Secure (HTTPS) websites need to be added to the list of allowed sites (white list). For each site that needs to be added, use the "host" command in Terminal with the domain name to obtain its IP address, then use the host command with the IP address to obtain the reverse domain name. For example:+
    +$ host gmail.com+
    +gmail.com has address 74.125.127.83+
    +gmail.com has address 209.85.225.83+
    +gmail.com has address 74.125.79.83+
    +gmail.com mail is handled by 30 alt3.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com.+
    +gmail.com mail is handled by 5 gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com.+
    +gmail.com mail is handled by 10 alt1.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com.+
    +gmail.com mail is handled by 20 alt2.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com.+
    +gmail.com mail is handled by 40 alt4.gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com.+
    +$ host 74.125.127.83+
    +83.127.125.74.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer pz-in-f83.1e100.net.+
+In this case, the result is "1e100.net" (ignoring subdomains), which is different than the domain we started with. Therefore, add both "gmail.com" and "1e100.net" to the white list.+
+Repeat these steps for each secure site that needs to be accessed in Parental Controls.+

  • Unable to access e-mails

Since updating to the new version of firefox I am unable to access my e-mails. It says 'you have undefined new e-mails' but wont let me open the inbox.
I can however access my e-mails in internet explorer.
    Why would that be?

You can get a "Corrupted Content Error" error if there are multiple location redirects send via the HTTP response headers.<br />
Firefox doesn't allow that for security reasons.

  • Unable to Access Calling Features or Calling Plan ...

I was wondering if anybody could advise if there is a dedicated support team for issues with BT.com. I am having issues when attempting to access either the Calling Features or Calling Plan Pages from BT.com. I have no problems viewing recent usage or Billing etc. and I am able to make payments. When trying to access the Calling Plan I receive the following error ... "We're sorry. Sorry, we can't continue your request with the account number provided. Please call us on 0800 800 150 to continue." The Calling Features page, returns this ... "Sorry, we can't change your Calling Features at the moment. Sorry, your account number wasn't recognised. Please check and try again." I have tried the 0800 number but nobody seems able to help and I eventually got cut off as I was transferred for the fourth time, so I thought I would see if anybody else has had the same experience and could help me short cut the IVR. Many thanks.

I also have the same problem. Here is a copy of the email I sent BT after spending a frustrating amount of time talking to their call centre to people who clearly did not have a clue. What is worse is they do not seem to have an escalation process to deal with problems that are not on their script and that they do not understand.
    >>>
    Sir,
I am writing to complain about the exceedingly poor customer service I received today.
I have for a long time managed my account TH******* on line. Last year I added account GB******* to the list of accounts I manage online. Ever since this account has been set up I have noted that when I select the 'calling plan' option for this account I get the message "Sorry, we can't change your Calling Plan at the moment. Please call us on 0800 800 150 to continue" and when I select the 'calling features' option I get the message "Sorry, we can't access your account information at the moment. Please try again later".
Today I tried to do something about this. As directed I called 0800 800 150.
Issue 1. None of the 4 options (i to place or check on an order, ii calling about a bill, iii moving home, iv a fault or need help with your service) actually apply to what I am calling about but I am forced to listen to them twice because there is not get out option supplied until the recorded message 'you do need to choose one of the options.'
If you provide a number to call from a website then that number should provide an option that actually applies in the circumstances relating to the reason the number was given. In this case I am calling because the website is not functioning correctly. There was no option for that.
Issue 2. Before I finally managed to reach a person, I was asked to enter my phone number and my account number. But when I reached an 'advisor' she asked for my account number again.
If your system does not pass the account number through to the advisors, why make me key it in. If it does, why am I asked for it again?
When I finally managed to speak to someone after selecting a range of inappropriate options I explained my problem. At first, she just offered to help me change my package. I explained that this was not what I was asking but that I wanted to be able to manage this account online. I was advised that there is currently a fault on the website and that I should try again later.
On reflection, I decided that this answer was inadequate since I could clearly see both of the options on the account TH******* and I had never been able to see these options on the new account since it had been set up despite having tried several times.
Issue 3. The answer given does not seem to address my problem.
    So I called again.
    Repeat issues 1 & 2.
This time I reached Kamal in billing and services. Similarly he just offered to help me change my package. I explained that this was not what I was asking but that I wanted to be able to manage this account online. I explained that I could do this for account TH... but not account GB... After some time he came back with the answer that it was not possible to do with GB accounts but was with TH accounts. I expressed incredulity and asked to register a complaint about the fact that I could manage one account comprehensively but not the other. I then noticed for the first time that on the 'Accounts' page on the website, there was no telephone number showing under the account number GB****** whereas there was under the account number TH******8. So I suggested that perhaps the account had not been set up correctly.
After some considerable time while he looked into this, put me on hold several times, and at one point suggested that he might have to reset my password, he finally came back to me with the response that there was a technical problem with the website and that I should try again in 24 hours.
Issue 4. It is unacceptable that I was kept hanging around for so long while he attempted to diagnose the problem.
Issue 5. Clearly, the advice he gave me earlier in the call that "it was not possible to do with GB accounts" was rubbish.
In all, this was a totally unsatisfactory experience. I am hoping someone can explain why your system is so convoluted and, in the end, inadequate. Most of all I would like to be assured that my account will now be able to be managed online - if not, why not.
I will try the system again in 24 hours as advised by Kamal. Hopefully I will find that it works.
    >>>
Unhappily, it didn't work as I expected it wouldn't. One week later I still had not received a reply to my email so I emailed them again.
Finally, 4 days after that I received the following reply
    >>>
The incident A/c no : GB****** - Unable to access calling plan online that you reported has now been resolved.
Please note that you have not attached telephone number while adding this account to online profile.
Please remove account and add again with telephone number after that you will able to access calling plan within 24hrs.
Thank you for your time in this matter and we apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused.
     <<<
Note that they are telling me the problem is my fault. What do they mean 'you have not attached the telephone number' - I can clearly see the billing information for this number so it clearly is 'attached' to the account.
After hunting for ages on their website to find an option to delete the account as suggested I eventually found it, pressed the delete button and ....
You cannot remove this account from your profile. For further assistance, please call 0800 800 152.
We're sorry, but it's not possible to remove this account from your profile at this time.
    OMG!
So I guess I am going to have to spend yet more time on the phone to them. I'll let you know how I get on.
    Phil

  • "Unable to access selected memory. Messages will b...

I have noticed that sometimes my Nokia 5530 gives me this message, usually after I download pics to my computer, but not always. Sometimes, it just happens randomly.
"Unable to access selected memory. Messages will be stored to phone memory."
Is there any way to prevent this?
I have to switch the default location back to E memory, and then everything works again. It's just annoying.

    Hi, unfortunately, this is a 'trait' of many Nokia phones after being connected via usb, admittedly it is a little irritating, but it doesn't happen every time, and to be honest I've just got into the habit of quickley checking messages on my phone whenever I disconnect it. I have a shortcut on my homescreen , so it only takes a couple of seconds, and I don;t really consider it a problem, and for the sake of a couple of seconds I'd rather keep my phone memory as clean as possible. Good Luck PS the search section at the top of the page may solve many of your problems without posting a thread, as most things, however 'silly' you may think they are will have been asked and answered before. I'd been using this forum for acouple of months before I actually posted a question or response, and the more threads posted the harder it is for people with much more knowledge than me to fond them and help;

  • Unable to access CC assets and VERY frustrated with support

I just spent a fruitless hour trying to discover why I am unable to access my assets on the Creative Cloud. CC acts as if my membership isn't current, in that I see a folder of mine, but when I click on it, it disappears. After an hour with support I was unceremoniously disconnected and don't have the fortitude right now to start over again. Is there any chance of speaking with a U.S. based support person who speaks intelligible English?

David, thank you for your response. I recognize you as one of the
helpful people on the forum and gather that you are an Adobe employee.
With respect to the problem I wrote about: The following morning
everything was working normally again. During the several days that I
was having the problem, I did try accessing CC via two different
computers and on 2 different browsers, all with the same result. My
impression was that CC was treating me as though I was someone whose
subscription had lapsed. I could see that the folder I had created for
image files was there on my screen, but when I clicked to open it the
folder would disappear. So I'm guessing that CC had incorrectly changed
my status as a subscriber and then somehow this got corrected. In
reviewing the forum issues, I haven't seen anyone complain of exactly
    the same problem.
I would also like to say a word about Adobe support. As a loyal
purchaser and user of multiple Adobe products for the past 15 years, and
also as an Adobe shareholder, I find the current trend in support to be
very disappointing. I have had minimal need for support over the years
but had always had good service until recently. After subscribing to CC
I had occasion to seek help from Business Catalyst support which was
just as frustrating and unhelpful as my attempt to obtain CC support on
8/3. The forum seems to be able to solve some problems but it can't
always happen in a timely manner. I fear that the current status of
Adobe support, if my two recent experiences  are typical, will serve to
    drive customers away from Adobe.
I do thank you for your interest in my problem.
    John
