Unable to access Safari or read any email

Dear colleagues,
I have an iPhone 3GS, with IOS 4.3.3 After using the phone as modem with my laptop (I explain this because I don't know if it has any relation with my current problem...), now I am unable to access any of my emails accounts or browse through any webpage with Safari. I do can receive emals, I see them but, when I want to access them the screen frozens, become black and I'm pushed back to the main menu screen It happens the same with safari, after some seconds trying to upload a page, the screen becomes black and I'm again on the main menu... I tried a reset and switch off several times the iphone with no success... Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I would then do a restore. Plug in your iPad and click on Restore from iTunes. This option erases your iPad and reinstall a fresh copy of the iOS. You're saved contents would still be synced back via previous backup. Now if a restore and then a backup still doesn't resolve the issue then I would recommend doing a restore again but this time do not use the backup. The downside is that all of your app info will be lost. Things like game play levels beat, app preferences, etc.

Thunderbird encrypted the mail inbox and I cannot read any email

Thunderbird does not encrypt anything. What you are seeing is more than likely file corruption.
Right click the problem folder and select Properties. Then Repair Folder.
Be prepared to lose messages if the corruption is too bad.

Unable to Access Particular Websites on any browser

I am new to the Mac world and I am on AOL UK platinium broadband and yet some sites (including aol, microsoft and ebay) wont load on safari or firefox why is this :S

I have been having a similar problem for awhile now. I cannot access an airline website (americawest.com) in Safari or IE. The company support says it is a problem on my end exclusively. Today I downloaded Firefox and made that the first page I attempted to go to and it still would not load. I get the spinning wheel and then a timeout message.
I've tried connecting thru links from emails the company has sent me, from links off of other websites....nothing seems to work. I am not having this problem with any other sites.
Any suggestions???

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Aol comes up with Bing and won't let me read any emails, the content of the inbox, sent, trash, etc shows nothing but a Bing icon

In AOL, when I try to read the content of mail received, sent, trash, etc. The content is not there. It is just a Bing Icon with Search the Web, enhanced by Bing! I can open my mail and see the content in Internet Explorer.

Are there any errors/warnings displayed on your screen when you attempt to open an item? If yes, please post them so we can take a closer look at it.
If not, try clearing you Cache by going to: Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Network / Offline Storage -> Clear Now. Then clear your cookies by going to Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Clear your recent history.

Unable to access the rest of any 7 days on my T-Mobile mobile broadband

Moved to PAYG as more appropriate.

I beleive I may have found a workaround to this issue. In "Settings" select "Safari". Then change "Block Cookies" from "Never" to "From third parties and advertisers". Lastly clear your history and cookies & data. After completing these steps I was able to enter the iTunes store again.
I don't know why this worked but this was not necessary when using iOS 6. Hopefully Apple is aware of this "bug" and will fix soon.

HT4414 unable to access downloaded Adobe reader for PDFs

I keep downloading Adobe Reader but when trying to open PDF files I am told I need to download it. Perhaps I missed signing the user agreement but unable to get back there to do that.

If you use iCloud as well, you can try adding it back to your accounts as well. I have 7 email accounts (including iCloud and a Yahoo account) in mail on my iPhone and iPad and have no problems with them. I suspect it was not removing iCloud that fixed your problem, it was the re-entering the Yahoo account login credentials (maybe they just got corrupted - could be as simple as that).
If you do add iCloud back, and it causes problems right away with your Yahoo, then you should send a ticket in to the iCloud support folks as that would seem to be something not working correctly?

Also if you actually deleted the iCloud account, remember you can keep the account, and just disable it for mail in the iCloud settings (so you can keep using iCloud for other features even if you do not want to use iCloud mail).

I can log into hotmail using firefox, but I can't read any of my emails, and most of the links don't work either.

I can't read any emails in my msn account. I'm using Firefox 4.0.1. Every time I click on one, it acts like it's reloading the page, but nothing happens. It happens when I click on links to my folders as well. It works fine in Google Chrome though. Is anyone else having this problem?

After downloading Windows Updates for Vista, Hotmail has stopped working.
I can log on, but can't click on any messages.
None of the buttons work at all in Hotmail; it's completely frozen.
I have to log on using Internet Explorer.
I had the same problems with Firefox 4.0; Norton 360 wouldn't work properly with it, so I deleted it, and went back to Firefox 3.6.

Multiple user accounts unable to use Safari

Hi All,
Now that Safari 4 is installed, other than my administrator account, my multiple user accounts seem unable to access Safari. I am unable to access the Safari preferences, (greyed-out), so I can't change parental controls that seem locked. When prompted by Safari to load each site i see no change and no ability to get to the site I just loaded.
Any thoughts?

Using Safari 4.0 I just tried using the repair permissions in the DIsk Utility and still cannot find the Safari.app in my other user accounts. It was also missing in my admin account but after running the above repair permissions utility it reappeared. I can now only see the app in my admin Applications folder. In my other User accounts I can see only a grey ? mark. I move the ? into the trash and when I try to find the Safari.app using Finder it cannot find the .app. I am getting very frustrated. Please assist

Why can't I open or read my email in firefox. This problem started last week, and now I have to use internet explorer to read my emails.

On Oct. 28th problem started when I went to email preview page and could not open or read any emails. I have been using Firefox browser for several years and never had this problem before the above date. If I want to read emails, I have to use Internet Explorer now.

You may have zoomed the page by accident with Ctrl and the mouse scroll wheel.
Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

Can't read sent emails

Hi
Whenever I open a message in my "sent" box I get the following message:
"The message from XYZ <email address> concerning “subject” has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it."
My account is online and receiving and sending fine. I just can't read any emails I've sent.
Any clues?

If you are running 10.3.9, as your information shows, then you have an overstuffed mailbox. See:

How to read an email attachement

I cannot read any email attachment on my Ipad. Any suggestion ? Thanks in advance.

Firstly, try a Reset (Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 15 seconds).
As a matter of interest, you should be able to view any attachment. However, you will not be able to save it to a location of your choice (and work on it) unless you have an app that is appropriate. For instance, if the attachment is a PDF then you get the option of where you want to store it, I.e., in iBooks (which is automatically supplied with the iPad) or one which you install such as Goodreader etc. A Word document attachment would require the Pages app or another suitable app. [Just adding this in case you are not aware.]
