Unable to access Service Registry through VC 7.1 SP6

Hi,
I am unable to access the service registry through VC 7.1 SP6. I followed all the instructions detailed by Rudi. But keep getting an error message 'Could not receive classifications from UDDI server. Please change the UDDI server'.
Any help in resolving this issue would be appreciated.

I was working on all these hints from last few days... but something's going wrong somewhere that I am not able to figure out, though I have tried all the ways suggested...
I did the destinations once again exactly as shown in PDF and in Flash demos. I have SR3 installed and so on...
But still I get same error when I try to search in "Service Registry"- "Could not load classifications from UDDI Server. Please change the uddi server."
I think i should focus on some different tasks now.
But hey, I did access Enterprise Services by a different way, just like old days, creating a HU2_800_METADATA (WSIL) destination and accessing the service ..

After I upgrade SOA suite to 10.1.3.5, the Oracle Service Registry can not be accessed.

Did you install the service registry in the same container as SOA suite, e.g. oc4j_soa.
It is typically best practice to install into separate container so upgrades don't affect other applications.

Firstly thanks to the people who
offered help. This is what I did and somehow the problem is solved. I installed PSE 8 on my old machine with XP and an old Xerox monitor and it worked OK. I uninstalled PSE 8 from the newer machine on Vista. Made sure all the adobe files for pug-ins had gone then reinstalled. I then tested the screen resolution of my monitor a HP w1907v, smaller resolutions made no difference but opening it up to max did. When I wish to open a RAW file click open click the photograph and in the bottom file format box make sure you are asking for RAW files to be opened and 'bingo'. This upgrade for PSE 8 has the latest CameraRaw on it but the problem was there from the first installation so perhaps it is a combination of screen resolution and making sure the file format for opening is specified. So after hours of effort a satisfactory outcome. I probably confused the issue by installing the plug-in when there was no need. PSE 8 will last me a long time!!!

after spending many hours I'm believe that probably my concern arent related to CFBuilder [or not only] but also with CF9 installation on Mac OS X.
Attached you can find screen-shot about second page of Server Setup. Please note that I have configured a *local* server (not remote) with a developer environment.
Additional info; after checking in detail, I have noted that integrated WebServer (that I'm believe is JRun based) listen on 8500 is unable to open any .cfm page.
Under a directory created in WebRoot [Applications\ColdFusion9\wwwroot\Education] I have created a dumb index.cfm page, but that isnt executed.
But whem I go in CFIDE\administration all is working nicely.
Where can I check about integrated WebServer configuration, handler, etc?

Unable to access Internal HTTPS through VPN conn

Anytime I have internal websites with HTTPS connections that do not have valid certificates, our VPN users are unable to make a connection. The wireshark trace shows acknowlegement number = broken TCP. I have run Packet Tracer and it shows a problem on my DMZ???? not sure why as the traffic flow is inside to inside interface. I am at a total lost as to why...

Hi,
The NAT configuration mentioned in your screencapture is the configuration that causes all traffic from the VPN users to be diverted to the "HomeOffice" interface because "any any" is configured
You would either have to make the above rule more specific by removing the "any any" and adding the actual networks
OR
You could add a new rule BEFORE the above mentioned NAT configurations
I am not sure what the real local interface "nameif" is (the one where the server IP is actually located) but you would need this kind of configurations

The above rule should match the traffic from the VPN-POOL to the SERVER. The number "1" seen in the CLI format configurations means that it would be added to the top of the rules. The "serverint" is meant to mean the actual name of the interface where the server is located as I presume that its not located behind the "HomeOffice"

I have time capsule connected to my pc through an Ethernet cable, it says my local area network is connected at 100 Mbps yet it is unable to connect to the internet. My xbox and MBP connect without a problem, any ideas on what is going on?

If you're using 5.1, that's a beta enviroment and not supported.
If you have it legally, it's attached to a developer account and all questions need to be directed to the developer forums.
Latest gold version is 5.0.1.

Unable to access Edge Reflow through ACC

When I login to ACC, I can see the edge section and Reflow. When I select Reflow, I am directed to the download page, however Reflow is not listed at all within the Edge section.
Is it the version of ACC I have? There isn't even an option to add apps you don't see, just not available.

Thanks for reply, yes I do meet system specs. Can view most other apps for download, Reflow (as well as CO, IN are just not there).
Every Reflow landing page has a "get started" llink, leads me to login, when I do I can see Apps& Services section, Reflow is there (image below.
When I select Reflow, go to download page, Reflow no longer listed (bottom image).

I am unable to access zynga farmville through firefox...no problem until the new download

I have an account on Facebook and occasionally play "Farmville." Since I downloaded the latest version of Firefox, I cannot access any of the games I normally play while on facebook. I get an unusual message that says I may need to disable my firewall, but I don't have an active firewall.

Failed to install Oracle Service Registry

I tried to install OSR 10.1.3.1 before deploying AIA, however, the installation is not going on smoothly...
* I am doing this through VMWAre environment (RHEL5, SOA Suite 10.1.3.3, Oracle DB 10.2.0.2)
I have encountered several issues:
1) the installation screen are not properly formatted, and most of the information is actually missing...
2) at the beginning of the installation, i received a message: null, Installation Failed.
besides that, I would like to ask which ORACLE_HOME should we point to? the one for database or SOA?
Could anyone help me on these issues?

Please follow the below procedure for successfull installation of Service Registry
Create a Schema in the database to accommodate the registry.
Connect system/welcome1 as sysdba;
a. Create schema uddi identified by welcome1;
b. Grant connect,resource to uddi;
1. Start Oracle service registry by tying the following command in the command prompt
Java –jar oracle-service-registry-10.1.3.1.jar
2. Select Standalone Registry.
3. Select the path D:\oracle\registry_10_1_3 for registry.
4. Specify Administrator account details.
( note:keep user name as admin for successfull insatallation)
Administrator Username: Admin
Administrator Password: ********
Confirm Password: *******
Administrator Email:
5. Select Create Schema, choose Oracle 9i and later option
6. Provide Database details
Database Server address: ********
Database Server port: 1521
Existing Database Name: *******
Database User: uddi
Database User Password: ******
7. Check create data source in the application server.
8. Select JDBC Drivers under middle tier of SOA suite
D:\SOAproduct\10.1.3.1\SOA\jdbc\lib\classes12_g.jar
9. Provide application server details
Oracle Home: D:\SOAproduct\10.1.3.1\SOA
OPMN Host: ********
OPMN Port: 6003
Instance name: home
Oracle Administrator: oc4jadmin
Administrator Password: welcome1.
Note:
To access service registry use the following login information
Username: admin
Password: welcome1
