Unable to access Unity Connection Operator Mailbox via TUI

Hello,
Customer running CMBE 6.1 with corresponding Unity Connection 2.1. I am attempting to access the Operator voice mailbox through TUI but have been unsuccessful. I've tried changing the Voice Mail password in Unity Connection.
I press Messages on the phone, press star (*), enter 99990#, then my password followed by #. System comes back saying "Invalid Entry"
Thanks,
Dan

I think you might be running into the this bug: CSCsl00706: Can not change password for UndeliverableMessages mailbox to gain access

  • Unable to access a windows 7 Workstation via RDP

    Hi,
I have a windows 7 Pro SP1 workstation that I’m unable to access from any other machine via RDP...
    This is a domain environment.
The machine in question is 100% up to date. (WSUS)
It's running an up-to-date anti-virus solution and has been scanned. (Panda cloud) (No firewall)
This is on a local network, no router involved.
Can ping the machine, can see network shares.
Checked that it's listening on the correct port.
Necessary services are running and are starting correctly.
Configured RDP correctly and tried different configurations (with and without NLA and adding/removing users)
This machine seems to be able to RDP into other machines, it just wont accept any sessions.
Assigning the necessary exclusions in firewall - no effect
Firewall is disabled by GPO and I have stopped the service - no effect.
Deleted the computer certificate - no effect.
uninstalled the RDP 8 update - no effect
Tried using both the IP and hostname - no difference
I'm completely out of ideas, no other machine I tested with is having this issue and all the domain machines are running same AV and same GPO's are applied.
    Re-installation is not an option.
Below is the error - very unhelpful.
    Kind Regards,
    Stephen

  • Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Connect. Why am I unable to access iTunes Connect?

I recently signed up as an Apple Developer, but I'm still unable to access iTunes Connect. Why is this?

    How recently?

  • Unable to access media files on network via wirele...

Up until a month ago was able to access media files through wireless, Os is wins 7, HomeHub 2. the curious thing is no problem accessing internet wirelessly, Have reconfigured Homegroup network, changed WEP key, channel no,reset connected devises then for a couple of minutes I actually access my media files then nothing , and nothing since. unable to access Hub manager from desktop icon or internet browser now. One thing that might be pertinent is that my father has  just had YouView installed around the time the problem started. Contacted the call centre for help they came back informing me that you cannot share files through a BT Hub ! last resort sent an email . Anyone out there can throw me a line I'd much appreciate it

Try a factory reset of the homehub by pressing a pin into the recess button on the rear for about 20 seconds. This will put your wireless passkey which is on the homehub label so you will need to either reconnect your devices to the default wireless passkey or change it back to what you had.

  • Unity Connection Operator Transfer to UCCX Trigger

I have a customer with the following scenario...
A caller calls (either directly or through transfer) to a personal line, and is transferred to voicemail.
The '0' option is set to transfer to Operator on the Unity Connections system.
They want the caller to be transferred to the UCCX queue if they press '0'.
    Here is what is configured:
The Operator Call Handler has Transfer Rules set to transfer to Extension (2504) and Release to Switch.
2504-Internal is a Translation Pattern to 5200-IPCC which is the UCCX Trigger.
    Here is what happens:
I call the personal line, and get diverted to Voicemail.
I begin hearing the personal greeting, and press '0'.
I hear the 'Please wait while I transfer your call' prompt'.
I hear the initial prompt of the Call Center script.
I begin hearing the in queue hold message while waiting on an agent.
At this point we would think all is fine, and that things are working as desired.
However, some timeout occurs, and the call reverts to the Unity Connection handler.
I hear that 'The Operator is not available' and the call follows the Transfer Rule, and re-transfers me to the UCCX script.
Unless an agent can answer my call quickly enough, I do not remain in queue but bounce back to Unity and then transfer again to UCCX as a fresh call in queue.
Any thoughts on where to look, or a method to troubleshoot this scenario would be appreciated.

Does your AEF script impose a two-second delay prior to the Accept step when the call is coming from CXN? There is a JTAPI race condition that can cause this if the MIVR engine answers the call immediately vs. waiting two seconds or half a ring.

  • Unable to access wireless connection with linksys rooter WRT54GS

    Hi,
I just installed a wireless rooter Linksys WRT54GS on my connection, The problem I have is being able to access it with my wireless on my laptop.
I kept getting a message stating "connection unindentified" "access limited". I've done most of what is already suggested on your forum such has turning the power off of my rooter, my modem and such and still nothing. I'm able to access the wireless with my girlfriend Mac Notebook, my playstation 3 and my desktop computer which uses Windows X. First I thought that it my be a problem with my security but even when the connection is unprotected I still get that error. I try to disable the IpV6but that didn'tdo anything either.
My laptop is a Toshiba Qosmio X300 PQX32C-033019 with Vista and my rooter is a Linksys WRT54GS vers. 6
Here's my connection log, sorry if it's in French:

  • Unable to access a particular web site via FOS

This problem started a week or so ago.  Using different computers (Windows or MAC) I am not able to access the web site www.vibeconference.com which is using IP Address 74.208.213.17 using any of several browsers, Explorer, Firefox, Safari.  In addition, I am not able to ping the url or IP address, I just get timeouts.
All of the above occurs when I use a computer connected to my FIOS Service.  I can access this url just fine using my Cell Phone which uses Verizon Wireless or my wife's using AT&T Wireless
I have tried using OpenDNS's DNS Servers, same problem.  I am baffled by the fact that it only happens with this one web site (that I know of).
I have power cycled my router, checked its settings, no luck.
    Any ideas?

OK, I figured out how to use a Free Web Proxy and am able to navigate to the web site.  I am still baffled by what is causing the block but I guess that is the hosting companies issue or some issue between them and Verizon.  I also left my router off overnight so that I would get a different IP address which I did.  So it is not my particular IP address which is getting blocked but probably a range belonging to Verizon.

  • Unable to access Unity 5 web page

This is pertaining to a new install. I can access the admin page locally from the server but not from anywhere else on the network. If I browse to the following page, it times out:
    http://10.X.X.X/Web/SA
I'm not quite sure what's missing because it works at other sites.

As a solution you can reset the IIS. In order to reset the IIS on the Cisco Unity Server, open the command prompt on the Cisco Unity server and issue the iisreset command. This makes the IIS stop for a period of time. When the IIS re-starts, you are able to access Cisco Unity from the web interface.

  • Unable to access connection in 3 tier mode

    Hi all,
Product: Business Objects Enterprise XI R2 SP 5 and FP 5.1 on IIS
We have created a small report in DeskI on stored procedures on the DB rather than the universe.
When executing the report on the DeskI at the server locally the report executes brilliantly. But when exported to BO Enterprise and when accessed via the Infoview, it gives the error unable to access the connections defined for the report to run. After which when we click on modify in Infoview, it opens the report in DeskI and gives the same error when trying to refresh the data.
What I am unable to understand is how come it is able to read the connection when I load the report in DeskI directly and the connection fails to work when loaded to the Enterprise hosted on the same server??? Is it a matter of some permissions or network restrictions???

    Hi,
To create a WebI report using stored procedures then we should create a universe first. As Universe is the only source for WebI Report. But in DeskI we can directly create a report as datasource can be universe or free hand sql or Stored procedure .......
    Cheers,
    Suresh ALuri.

  • Unity Connection 8.5.1 - upgraded ESXI from 4.1 to 5.1

    Hello All,
We just completed upgrading the ESXI version on one of our UCS c210 m2 servers.  We went from v4.1 to v5.1.  We are currently running CUCM, Unity CXN, and Presence on the server that we upgraded.  The other UCS was not upgraded and is running the subscriber version of the same applications.
After the upgrade completed we can not access UNITY Connection.
We are getting "Database Communication Error."  The subscriber is still working so we are still in service, but we are afraid that the database has become corrupted and we are seconds away from complete failure.
Please let me know if anyone has encountered the same issue or has any suggestion.
    Thanks,
    AK

    Did you read this:
Patching and Updating VMware vSphere ESXi
In general, Cisco Collaboration app versions only mandate the Major/Minor versions of ESXi they require/support.
Guest OS support - Cisco Collaboration apps that require a minimum Maintenance release (e.g. "5.1 U1" as minimum instead of "5.1" as minimum) for the application to be supported will explicitly call this out on their product detail pages.  When in doubt, consult Cisco Plan, Design, Implement (PDI) HelpDesk or Cisco TAC.
Hardware support - For a Major/Minor version of ESXi supported by Cisco Collaboration apps, recommendation is to use the latest Maintenance release that is also supported/recommended by the server vendor (and storage vendor if deploying on NAS/SAN).  To help determine if a patch or Maintenance Release of ESXi "can" or "should" be deployed, follow the guidance from these sources:
VMware Compatibilty Guide (http://www.vmware.com/go/hcl)  for the the vSphere ESXi Major/Minor version supported by Cisco Collaboration.
Server Vendor's hardware compatiblity information for the vSphere ESXi Major/Minor version required by Cisco Collaboration.  E.g. for Cisco UCS, see the Server Compatiblity documents athttp://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/ps10477/prod_technical_reference_list.html.
    http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Unified_Communications_VMware_Requirements
UCXN 8.5 is supported with ESXi 5.1 per:

  • Unity Connection 9.x & UCCX 7.x do not answer SIP Calls

    Hi,
We have SIP Trunks between our CUCM v7.1.3 and IPC Unigy system. All test calls to and from CUCM 7.1.3 and IPC Unigy working fine but have found when dialling from IPC Unigy to either Unity Connection 9.x or UCCX 7.x, the call rings without being answered. Believe it is something to do with the out-of-band signalling either not being present, or being present when it shouldn't.
Having difficulty tracing calls in log files.
Dialling from Unigy to either Unity Connection or UCCX via public telephone network call is answered ok.
    Any help gratefully received.
    Thanks
    James

Just wondering if you found a solution. I have a similar setup and I have not attempted it yet.

  • Unity Connections 8.5 - Mailbox Access Rights

        Hello,
Is it possible in Unity Connections 8.5 to have a mailbox setup where anyone who has the ID and PIN can access and listen to the messages but cannot delete the voicemail messages. There would be only 1-2 to users have the capability to delete the messages.  I have a request to setup an attendance dial in mailbox where it can be checked by multiple users but only a select few would have the ability to delete the messages.
    Thank You

    Hi Troy,
My friend Tony is most correct here (+5 ) The best you can
do is trick most of the users into thinking "delete" is not available.
These settings are only exposed when using the Custom Keymapping Tool
in CUC, so you won't see them on your default conversation. Let's say
you are using the Classic Conversation for your users. You can go to the
Custom Keymapping Tool from cucadmin and say select Custom Keymapping #3
when it comes up you would, first off, reset the mapping on all tabs to Classic Conversation
this would then replicate your existing setup. Then go to the After Message menu page and map
some key # to "message delete" I used 17 in my tests here. Then you would also uncheck the
"option is voiced in menu" checkbox so the users that you apply this keymapping to would not
be offered the delete message option.
The next step is to assign the new Custom Keymapping #3 conversation to the
    required Mailbox via user>xxxx>Phone menu>Conversation>Custom Keymapping #3
    and apply.
You would also set Phone menu>Conversation>Custom Keymapping #3 in the User template
area so special "restricted" mailboxes that are created can use this conversation as well
In my tests here the only thing different than this example is that we use the Optional Conversation 1
so I reset the mapping on all tabs to Optional Conversation 1 when going through the steps above.
    This worked like a charm.
    Cheers!
    Rob

  • Out of the blue, my ITouch is unable to access my wireless network ONLY when my PC has been turned on (PC is connected via Ethernet cable, and has no wireless capability as far as I know).  What gives?  It works fine when the PC is off.

Out of the blue, my ITouch is unable to access my wireless network ONLY when my PC is on (the PC is connected via Ethernet cable, and has no wireless capabilities that I know of).  What gives?  When the PC is turned off, everything is totally fine.  I\m stumped.

Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
Does the iOS device see the network?
    Any error messages?
    Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
I suspect a problem with your router. Try changing the security. First use no security as a test.
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • Cisco Unity Connection Default "Operator" Mailbox

This mailbox gets full as expected pretty fast so I clean that up occassionally or setup message aging policy.
But I want to know if I go under Greetings and enable"Hang up" option after the Greeting is played for standard as well as closed greeting will that work.It doesn't seem to be working for me. Messages are still coming through.
    Please Advise
    DM

That will work for calls that hit the mailbox directly. It's also possible that there is a call handler with the Operator mailbox set as the message recipient. Check under the call handlers Edit > Message Settings menu.
Also, if memory serves, the operator mailbox is a member of the Undeliverable Messages distribution list. This DL should only receive messages if you have something misconfigured within the system (e.g. you didn't adjust the Opening Greeting after greeting action). It should always have at least one member so the messages can be recognized and routed to their appropriate destination until you fix it.
