Unable to access Wish List

For over a week I have not been able to access my wish list. I get an error message every time I try. Any ideas on what is going on?

Thank you for your reply.
I contacted the iTunes store costumer support, and after a number of e-mails where they wanted me to explain the problem in more detail (even though there wasn't much detail to talk about) I finally got the advice to reinstall iTunes.
I did this by deleting the iTunes app, the cash files, and the preference files. (but not my library, that would have been to much hassle) Downloading iTunes with my web browser from the apple site, and then installing it again.
I didn't though it would help, but it actually did. The problem is now gone for me.
And it seems the price of some items did actually change, a slightly different price was shown after this procedure.

  • ITunes Store won't let me access Wish List

I have been trying all morning to purchase some music, but I keep getting a timed out error from the iTunes store. I am not able to access "Add to Wish List" from the drop down menu, nor will it let me access my own "Wish List" from the drop down under my account name. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes completely but nothing has changed.

You are not the only one who is confused. But, yes, Virginia, there is NO way to use the Wishlist that I can find...at least according to Apple. (PLEASE correct me if I am wrong; I have been working on this for about an hour now...)
Here are the directions for how to use the Wishlist:
Itunes store: How to use wishlist (Last Modified: October 02, 2009
    Article: HT1368)
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1368
According to the directions on the KB article "go to the Quicklinks, and in the Quick Links box on the right click the My Wish List link." Not true; the link is NOT there. However, you can navigate to the Wishlist little white dropdown triangle on the far right, next to your email address (it will appear when you hover the mouse over it). Ok, there's the Wishlist; let's manage it, ok? Nope, can't do that, either; the page has no way to manage it-can't add or delete, ONLY purchase. Hmm, well, let's try the rest of the instructions. Ok, go to a song, right click the 'buy' button, and choose Wishlist from the dropdown menu...oops! That doesn't work either! Buying is, again, the only option.
Someone clearly needs to get fired, since this article was updated only 2 days ago. How do you get THE ENTIRE article wrong? Come on, Apple, you can do better than that.
And here is where you go to complain that the instructions, ahem, do not work:

  • Unable to access song list in ipod when connected to the computer.

My daughter loaned her ipod to a friend who tried to download some music to her ipod. A box opened asking if she wanted to delete all her songs from her ipod and she was given yes, no, and cancel. She pushed cancel and got out.
My daughters ipod has not worked correctly since.
When connected to the computer and logged into iTunes she can see all the songs in her ipod but they are light in color and she can not play or pick songs from the list. She can't delete anything from her list in the ipod. She can play her music from the computer list just fine.
What has happened and can we somehow get her ipod back to working correctly?

    Hello jhfields,
So, you are saying that you are unable to pick and choose songs from the Music list for the iPod while it is plugged into iTunes?
If the songs are grayed out, it is probably because the iPod is set up to automatically sync. In order to play music from the iPod through iTunes, you have to enable the "manually manage music and videos" option from under the iPod's Summary tab.
Does that do the trick for you?

  • Exchange 2010. Unable to access block list IP's in Hub Transport Service.

Just started today as I was getting ready to add an IP address to the IPBlock list.  Box pops up that says 'failed to enable key constraints.  One or more rows contain values violating non-null, unique or foreign-key constraints.' The only
thing I have seen mentioned running the Get-IPBlockListEntry command because there was a duplicate IP address in the list.  When I ran the command, there were 600+ entries, but I can only read the last 350 of them.  There are no duplicates however
in the entries I can see.
    My questions are:
is there a hard limit to how many ip addresses can be added into the block IP list  box?
Is there a  command that would search for duplicate addresses, and if not, is there another way to take care of the issue besides uninstalling and reinstalling the exchange anti spam agent?
How do I get to see the first 250 entries in the results from the exchange management shell?
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,
Please refer to the following steps to reinstall anti spam agent:
    1. Open EMS, type:
    cd "c:\program files\Microsoft\exchange server\v14\scripts"
    ./uninstall-antispamagentss.ps1
    2. Restart the Exchange transport service.
    3. Go back to EMS, type:
    ./install-antispamagent.ps1
    4. Restart the Exchange transport service.
If the problem still happens, please restart Exchange hub server
    Thanks.

  • Movies 'wish list' disappeared

Why did my movies 'wish list' disappear on my Apple TV? Is this a known problem?

Mine too. I can't access wish list after first time. It's there again if I restart or don't use the Apple TV for a while. But once I access it, change it, or view a movie the wish list goes away

  • I have entered my iTunes code, but am unable to use the amount on my card to purchase songs in my wish list

Because of a past experience with fraudulant charges with Apple, I wish now to pay for my downloads with an iTunes card.  I purchased one for $20, logged on to my account, entered the "redeem" code that was on the new card, and then went into the iTunes store and added songs to my wish list.  When I was finished, I pushed the "Buy All" button to purchases all the songs on my wish list, which totaled less than the amount shown on my account that I had downloaded from my iTunes card. But I found myself in this "loop" of needing to sign into my account (which I already was because it displayed my name) and then it would ask for the "redeem" code.  When I would once again enter that same code from the back of my iTunes card, it told me it was unable to use it because that code had already been redeemed.
Yes, I had loaded that into my account, and it still showed the full amount of the card value next to my name.  That did not change or show it being reduced by the amount I had wanted to purchase from my wish list, so I knew I still have that amount sitting in my "bank" waiting to be spent.
How do I access it, or better yet,  get out of this loop of log in/redeem/already redeemed mess.

Click on the "Start" button. Click "Run." Type the word "cmd" in the open box. When the DOS screen comes up, type "netsh winsock reset." Press "Enter." Type "exit" to close the DOS window and go back to Windows.
    Restart the computer.

  • Signed in, but can't access account, wish list...

I am signed into iTunes, but if I click on my name (top right), try to access my account, try to look at my wish list or add to my wish list, I get a window asking me to enter my password.  When I enter my password, the same window pops up again asking for me to enter my password (it does not say the password or Apple ID is incorrect).  Keep in mind that I AM SIGNED IN already.  I can still make purchases and rent movies.  I'm running iTunes 10.4.1 and Lion.  I have reset my password, just to see if that was the problem.  I have quit and re-started several times.  I don't know what else to try.
    Any ideas?

I use the UK iTunes store.
But my problem has been solved.  It was painful.  It took most of a day.  It started with emails to the 'ExpressLane' help centre (very unhelpful, they basically sent me a bunch of links that didn't help), and ended with several phone calls to Apple Care. No one could help me, so I kept getting passed on to higher-level technicians.
I'm not super technical, but this is how it was solved:
After trying an endless list of suggestions from the technicians, they had me bring up my Library Folder through the Finder's 'Go' menu.  I needed to press the Alt key to make the Library show up.  I then opened the Preferences Folder in the Library Folder.  I dragged every file from the Preferences Folder to a new Folder on the desktop.  I can't remember if I restarted my Mac, but afterwards, I had full access to my iTunes account.
HOWEVER, it can be very dangerous to just empty your Preferences Folder.  I was lead to believe you could lose all sorts of data: browser bookmarks, calendar events, contacts, photo and music libraries, etc.  So the technician had me keep the Preferences Folder on my desktop, and move a bunch of the files back, specifically a lot of the '.plist' and 'lockfile' files.  Basically all the files that had to do with the applications I use most.  I still have the old preferences in a folder, just in case something doesn't work in the future.  But I think the bottom line is that one (or more) of the files in the Preferences Folder of the Library Folder was causing the problem.  I suppose you could try to remove the files one by one to find the specific culprit, but I have over 400 files.  If you are clever, you could try something like moving half, then the other half and working it down more scientifically.
I hope that helps.  Everyone I spoke to said they had never heard about this problem before.  I'm sorry I'm not better at describing the procedure.  But it definitely had something to do with a file (or files) in my Preferences Folder.

  • I have mac 10.6.8 and safari 5.1.10. on checking help website i am told latest flash player 16.0.0.305 is already installed BUT is not listed in my applications and unable to access sites requiring flash player. can anyone help?

i have mac 10.6.8 and safari 5.1.10. on checking help website i am told latest flash player 16.0.0.305 is already installed BUT does not appear on my list of applications and am unable to access websites requiring it. have also downloaded flash player installer app but unable to download the flash player itself. can anyone help? thank you!

    Hi Anne,
Your version of Safari is still supported.  Please see Adobe Flash Player | Tech specs for supported OS and browsers.
If the Flash Player plugin is in the Plug-ins (disabled) folder it's because it's an older version that Apple has disabled in Safari.  This has nothing to do with whether or not Flash Player supports the browser.
I'm not sure what you mean by "when i click on flash player itself i am told there is no application to open it."  Flash Player.plugin only works in the browser to view Flash content in the browser.  The plugin does not open files outside of the browser.  If you have SWF files you'd like to view outside of the browser, then you'll need the Flash Player projector. However, based on your previous comments this doesn't appear to be what you are trying to do.
Google Chrome does embed Flash Player in it, while Firefox does not.   Mozilla has also recently started blocking older versions of Flash Player in Firefox similar to what Apple is doing in Safari.
Following the 'clean install' instructions should result in you having the latest version of Flash Player installed that will not be blocked by the browser.

  • Is there a way to access my wish list in iTunes from my iPad

Is there a way to access my wish list in iTunes from my iPad

I'm asking the same sort of question in another thread. I had access to my wish list on my ipad2 but now I can't seem to find it. Dammed frustrating.

  • Accessing My Wish List

When in iTunes store and trying to access 'My Wish List' presented with the standard request for password. Entering password then pressing return brings the request for password dialog box again. This keeps repeating.
What is strange is when I access my account information and it requests my password I give it the same one and then have access to my account information. Is anyone else having the same issue. Thanks in advance.

It's been over 2 months since your post but I just experienced the same thing. I can not log into my Wish List so I can't add items to it or look to see what I have already added to the list. Like you, I am able to log into my Account info. This just started for me with the last round of updates. I can't remember if an iTunes update was one of them. I'll have to look at the log to see.

  • Can't see how to access my iTunes wish list on my iPhone?

    Hi,
Is there any way to access my iTunes wish list on my iPhone?
The advice I've found so far is to look for a 'quick link' which is accessible from a home icon but I can't see any home icon in iTunes on my iPhone?

It had a tool bar at the top with File, Edit, View, History, bookmarks, etc.
Right-click an empty area of the tab bar and check "Menu Bar".
Your bookmarks are accessible from the Bookmarks button on the navigation toolbar. It's the wide button on the right side of the address bar with a star to its left.
Your history is accessible from the History button under the ≡ Menu Button panel. You can right-click an empty area of the tab bar and choose Customize, then drag the History button onto the navigation toolbar if you like (that's the area with the Back/Forward buttons and the address bar).
If you'd like to completely revert Firefox's appearance, install the Classic Theme Restorer add-on and restart Firefox when prompted.
