Unable to acess bex

Hi all,
i am in a sem 4/bw 3.5 system.i am unable to open bex.when i go to rrmx transaction and try to open bex it says "CONNECT TO SAP GATEWAY FAILED".i am using sap gui 6.2 version.should there be any upgrade in the front end version or is there anything else i need to do.this is very urgent.point awaiting for first answer.
pls let me know the possible solutions.

strange, have you tried connecting directly via the Bex shortcut in the SAP Frontend folder in the menu instead of using rrmx?

I'm unable to acess itunes store

I'm unable to acess my Itunes store. When i go to store most of it will come up blnk only the top bar shows when i type in serch it will pop up for a second the will disaper.

Did you ever get a response on this. We are having the same problem. Tried to restore a few times and it still shows error. Please let me know if you found a solurtion.

check your archive destination settings in init<SID>.ora file and check whether the archive location available physically?

Unable to Open Bex report from SAP APO User Menu

Hi All,
I am an SAP APO consultant, and have not miuch expereice in BEx reporting. As APO uses Build in BI for reporting and pulling history from either external BW or R/3.
Now my issue all BEx reports we use are assigned ot my user menu and when I select a report, I would expect report to open but an excel sheet opens and closes and nothing happens. However I am able to open this reports from my desktop menu selecting Business explorer and Analyzer and linking my SAP system. I use Excel 2007 , Is this some compactibilty issue or is there anything I need to do?

There's a couple of possible root cause why you dont see properly the Bex Report.
Can you share to me the APO version and the BW software component being used?
In case this is still in the 3.x, 4.x APO, I think, a separate BW add on is needed for you to run your BEx report properly. You can ask your basis team for this separate installation.
Btw, is this report working before, meaning was it pulled successfully already in the past?
Can you try doing this again in a separate workstation, as the BW add on is installed separately per workstation.
Its possible that this is also an auth issue that the user you are using is not capable enough to run BEx.
As of now, I have not encountered any Bex issue that is related with the Excel version, I have tried running Bex in Excel 2007 no issue also. I think it maybe more related with the OS you are using, if its in Vista already what I know is you need to add your excel as a trusted document before you can run bex fro Vista.
Let me think of other possibilities.

When i test the acess using OWSM console or try and consume it on JDeveloper I get the following error:
java.io.IOException: The document 'http://dcmsinusapp02.dc.local:7780/gateway/services/WR01.xsd' contains HTML tags.
Reason is:
404 Not Found
OracleJSP: java.io.FileNotFoundException:
Set the init-param debug_mode to "true" to see the complete exception message
This file not found exception is related to /gateway/services/WR01.xsd of course.
I've mostly followed the OWSM documentation in order to register the service.
Am I doing anything wrong referencing xsd's or something similar?

Answer to my own question:
BPEL processes exposed via OWSM can't be used from JDEV ws proxy generator
But the real question is: how do I prevent relative paths to xsd's on bpel wsdl?

Error message "unable to acesses IXP213.tmp" when installing itunes

I have windows XP and whenever i try to upgrade, install or uninstall itunes i get teh error message,
"Unable to accesses file
C:\DOCUME~1\user\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP213.TMP\
please confirm that registry exists or select an alternate route."
I've tried all the methods that i could find on the boards and in the trouble shooting page but none of them have worked. Got any ideas on how to correct the problem?

Typically, the step Configure Web Server is not sufficient. You may have to also redeploy Hyperion reporting and analysis along with configuring the web server. You may also try to use "Apache HTTP" server, though it should work with "IIS". Don't forget to stop the following services, before proceeding with the redeployment: Workspace, Financial Reporting and Web Analysis. After the configuration ends, you should start those services again.

Unable to acess BW Querrys in Visual Composer

I created a new system in portal slecting "sap system using dedicated application server" and filled up all the required details and gave the system type as "SAP_BW".created a System Aliases and did the user mapping.
But In Visual Composer after selecting "Find Data" and selecting the System,when i am looking for a Querry it is giving error as
"Error-30014 Search Returned an error cannot retrieve BEx open dialog:null".
So please suggest me what should i do to connect to
SAP-BW in visual composer.

Unable to Open BEx file created using NWBC client

Hi,
I am working on EhP3 & NWBC Client.
I tried to export an ALV report to "BEx Analyzer" using the option "Export -> BEx Analyzer".
If I select the option "Open" in the subsequent pop-up, it just opens an Excel window and nothing appears after that. Not even a workbook gets created.
If I select to save and then open the saved ".bex" file, an excel window opens up. But immediately I get the "Microsoft Visual Basic Error" stating "Run-Time error: '91': Object variable or With block variable not set".
If I choose "debug" option, visual basic code window appears. I get to the following line there.

Finally got the solution.
I have put the following patches, it worked.
Bi front end patch bi710_2-10004472.exe and bi710sp02p_201-10004472.exe.
(I didnt try the latest patch - which is 10)
And also install Microsoft Office Patch KB907417.
The icon becomes clickable and you get proper menu options after that.

.we are using citrix ,it contains Toad(oracle),IE, reamdy tool and Remote connection .From remote connection . i am logging to sap bo ..iam able to logging in browse based tools (Infoview and cmc) in my machine ,,when iam using same url in citrix IE ,iam facing error ..unable to connect error message iam facing ..I want to change any setting .we are using same java and IE..How to resolve this issue

Unable to Open Bex Query Designer

Hi Experts,
When i opening the BEx Query Designer i got an error message that " RFC error received: Connection Closed without message
(CM_NO_DATA_RECEIVED).
When i closed this message in the status bar it is giving message "Please Install Excel as viewer.

Hi,
The problem is with you GUI Installation, So uninstall the GUI in your system and then install GUI with selecting all EXCEL options and it will work.
