i have an issue in QE01 (results recording). The user is unable to acknowledge an inspection lot as the 'Force' icon is disabled.. this is occuring for a set of lots alone...what might be the problem? thanks all..

what's the difference between giving 'Force' to make the corresponding entry accepted or rejected and by checking the Acc and Rej check boxes at the very first column? thanks all.

I have an iphone 3GS and had a lot of music in my itunes account. My computer died and will not even turn on. I finally got a new computer and a new iphone 4S however quite a bit of my music is not in my itunes when i put it on my new computer. is there any way to get that music off my iphone 3GS to my new computer? Unable to acknowledge a outbound EDIFACT ORDERS document.
Hi,
We are sending a EDIFACT ORDERS ( D98A version ) to one of our partner and it is successfully reaching the destination folder. Since we are expecting the funtional acknowledgement from partner i have checked the "Functional ack " and also set the "FA Handled by B2B " to "YES" . So once the data reached to the partner message status is "MSG_WAIT_FA" . Although the partner is sending functional acknowledgement back to us and it is successfully consumed by Oracle B2B still the messaage status for EDIFACT ORDERS is "MSG_WAIT_FA" . Please help me to resolve this issue.
Below are the configuration what i did.
1) Created a new agreement for D3 CONTRL
2) The Functional Ack Handled by B2B=true
3) checked FA handled by B2B = Yes in D98A ORDERS agreement
4) Functional Ack = checked in D98A ORDERS agreement
5) Both ORDERS and CONTRL agreements Saved-->Validated and deployed.
6) I have created the listening channel for CONTRL agreement.Hi Anuj,

Some how i am getting three unexpected observation
1. Inspection lot stock tab in UD is not there.....how to make it appear so that i can do the quantity posting can be done.
For your information this is against good receipt & QA32 quantity to be posted is showing the qty correctly.....which means stk is in quality
2. In MMBE transaction i am not able to view batch & qty posting
3 In MB51 i can see the document details but qty is showing in unrestricted....which means stk in unrestricted which contractdory to my first statement.
Kindly let me know

2 Any clue for 2 & 3 point if possible.

This problem began when I typed in an address http www etc., making one mistake in the address. I corrected it and then tried to copy the address because it was long (I wanted to be able to acces it another time), and that's when the trouble starrted. I just copt documents to get a new one because it's quicker, but it is unorthodox, I know. Since then whenever I copy a document i cannot open it, and it often puts a gobledegook ending to the document name. I've started emailing texts to myself so as to keep them, but I MUST be able to use documents normally. I hava a MacBook Pro, using OS Mountain Lion 10.8.5. I don't like it. It's fairly new, and has messed up my system of documents : the size is alll wrong and the tabulations are worse than ever. I use text edit because I wanted to use Macdictate because I am handicapped (arthritis and firbomyalgia) but I have never been able to get it to work. Since I changed OS I cannot use Text edit properly any more. Please help me. I think it must be a bug that came through when I was putting this address in four days ago. I went to the site once I'd corrected the address and it was perfectly normal. I shall ring them today and ask them if this has happened to anyone else. I live in France. Thank you for your advice. Because I am handicapped and I do not dirve, it is very difficult to get to a Mac store. I deleted Mac cloud documents because I don't want to use it and I thought it might solve the problem, but it didn"t.
Back up all data.

Inspection lot without batch no.
Hi
For 03 inspection type, inspection lot is creating without batch number, while doing UD it is asking for batch number.
Client will give the batch number only at GR. Im unable to clear the lot.
Please advise, how to create a inspection lot without batch number or clear the lot without batch number.
Note: I used freely defined inspection points for 03 lot.

You need to apply SAP Note 146945 - Making usage decision for production lots w/o batch.
Also with the above note, you need to mentain the below setting,

Recipe header> Quality Management> Partial lot assign: Partial lot not supported
Select Operation with QM active, go to details> Insp. point completion: Valuation

Oracle I supplier portal workflow -- PO Acknowledgement Workflow

Oracle iSupplier Portal uses the following workflows:
■ Supplier Change Order Workflow
■ Update Capacity Workflow
■ Order Modifiers Workflow
■ Advance Shipment Notice (ASN) Workflow
■ Purchase Order Acknowledgement (handled by PO Approval Workflow)
Since EDI 855 refers to PO Ack, we have a req to use EDI for PO Acknowledgement to be done by EDI since the users are unable to acknowledge each single PO.
As mentioned in the user guides, it is said that the Purchase Order Acknowledgement is handled by PO Approval Workflow. So now I need to write a custom logic to capture the acknowledgement from Supplier and kick of the correct workflow to proceed with acceptance/rejection or change order.
Can anyone tell me which workflow if used for this and what is the process name in PO Approval Workflow.

RajeshThe best way to determine this would be to download the workflow into a wft file from 11.5.8 and 11.5.10 instances and run a simple Unix diff command on these two wft files. I do not believe you will find any documentation that will list differences at this level of detail.

Has Apple acknowledged the bug in OS 10.4.8 that...
...has neutralized my new Intel-based MacBook's wireless capability? There are many others having the same problem yet no updates or fixes have come from Apple. I'd rather hear Steve Jobs tell us they've fixed this bug than hear about the iPhone. C'mon, Apple!!! Deal with the problem!
For the record, my MacBook connected wireless just fine until I updated to 10.4.8. Now the speed of my wireless connection at home is slower than dial-up (while my girlfriend's older Mac running an older OS has no problems connecting to our wireless modem) and I can't connect wireless at all on the road. Very frustrating!!!Sorry to respond to my own post but I've finally fixed the problem. I took my Macbook to the local Apple store and, while the "genius" there said he'd never heard of a bug with 10.4.8 that affects an Intel Mac's Airport capability, he immediately suggested that I downgrade back to 10.4.7. Here's how to do it without erasing your hard drive and losing all your files:
1. Start up your Mac from the OS X install disk that came with the computer. Mine came with OS 10.4.7. To do this, start up your mac, insert the system install disk, and then restart holding the "C" button down as the computer restarts.
2. Select Language
3. Click continue to get to the "Important Information" screen.
4. Click continue and the Software License Agreement pops up.
5. Click Agree
6. The Destination window appears. Select the location where you want to make the install (most likely your hard drive).
7. Click Options and the Installation Options Sheet appears.
8. Select Archive and Install.
9. Select the volume that already has OS X installed.
10. Select "Preserve Users and Network Settings". IMPORTANT: if you do not select this option then your files will be erased. If you want to save the data on your hard drive, make sure you select this option.
11. Click OK
12. Click continue to begin the installation. It'll take 30-45 minutes and, if your computer came with two install disks, you'll need to be nearby to put in Disk 2 when prompted.
That should do it. My MacBook running OS 10.4.7 now has full wireless capability, just like it did before the disastrous upgrade to 10.4.8.
I hope this helps others having this same difficulty with their Intel Macs and OS 10.4.8. It's too bad Apple is unable to acknowledge they have a problem here. -
Inspection Lot not creating for 657 mvt type
Hello,
I am unable to create inspection lot for customer returns. Mvt type used by SD module for customer return is 657 ( to blocked stock). While sales to return order with this mvt type, no inspection lot is getting generated.
But when returns are done with 651 mvt type (Returns to QI), I am able to create inspection lots.
Can anyone tell me how to activate inspection for 657 mvt type as I want this stock to go directly to Blocked stock.

Blocked stock (movement type 657)
If the given quantity is posted to blocked stock returns first, you can make a manual goods movement posting in the Inventory Management component to transfer the quantity to valuated stock.
Tcode vov6 - there will be schedule line category DN.
go to details of DN.In Business data,check which movement type is assigned here change it to 655 and try.
Also go to material master, select "Quality Management" view and execute. There click on "Insp.setup" and press "F5". Assign "06" under tbe tab "Inse.Type" and save.
Now if that material returns from any customer, the stock will be blocked for quallity clearance. Only quality people can give clearance for that material.

Big difference in colors between Nikon Capture and Lightroom
I've been using Nikon Capture for ~4 years. Lightroom seems like the solution to many of my gripes about Capture. However, I'm having difficulty with colors. The photos linked below are from an unmodified NEF, converted to a jpeg by Capture and LR. No modifications to the image by either program.

My complaint is that the reds and browns in the stone and the door are much more vivid in the Capture-rendered jpg.
I know from other threads that LR is ignoring (or can't see because Nikon hides it) some of the in-camera settings. But, I've spent a lot of time in the Develop module with White Balance, Hue, and Camera Raw settings and I can't get anything that looks as "punchy" as what Capture produces for these colors.

Jabber for Windows LDAP Profiles
I have been unable to find a lot of information on LDAP profiles, but I came across a blog that said that LDAP profiles are only used for Android, iphone and ipad. It stated that the only way to control the search base on Jabber for Windows is by using the jabber-config.xml file. So far this appears to be true based on my limited testing.
I have been able to integrate with OpenLDAP using the jabber-config.xml file to set the server and search base. The only problem i can see with this particular design is I would have to give all users the same LDAP profile and search settings. In our environment this will not satisify our requirements.
Does anyone know of a way where i can integrate with OpenLDAP, use the Jabber for windows client and control the LDAP search setttings on a per user basis?

Trying to setup systemd user instance
Hi guys!
For the past few days I have been trying to setup systemd to run a user instance (user is 'hans'). Sadly, I have been unable to find a lot of detail in doing this, so much of my work has been trial and error. Just recently I learned about the [email protected] and also about loginctl enable-linger. However to what degree they are related to setting up a user instance, I do not know. I set the user 'hans' to 'linger' using the loginctl enable-linger hans command, however I think I might have misunderstood the significance of the command in relation to what I am trying to do.
What I want to for user 'hans' to have his own service file, i.e. irssi.service, and start/stop/enable/disable/etc that service independently of the system. I realize that I could use sudo and configure it to only allow certain commands, and more than that have individual 'system' services for each user, i.e. hansirssi.service, janeirssi.service, joeirssi.service, etc., but I don't want to have to do that unless there is no other option.
So Question 1:
Is it possible to setup up systemd user instances as I envision it? Or have I misunderstood something?

Question 2:
Why would dbus reject the 'messages', is there something I need to configure (permissions,...?) in order to get this to work?
I suspect that it is my lacking knowledge to blame for this problem, which is why I have sought help here.
EDIT#1:
I forgot to show you what 'loginctl' was doing:

Last edited by sunite (2012-09-21 18:17:35)I just went through the install process, read through the user-session-units doc, I was finally able to get the user instance working, no Dbus errors . However I decided to make sure and run 'dbus-monitor' within the user 'hans' and I got the following error message:
Failed to open private bus connection: Failed to connect to socket /run/user/1000/dbus/user_bus_socket: No such file or directory
I checked and there is no such file, however I checked the dbus.socket:
[root@ru user]# cat /usr/lib/systemd/user/dbus.socket
[Unit]
Description=D-Bus System Message Bus Socket
[Socket]
ListenStream=%t/dbus/user_bus_socket
And dbus.service:
[root@ru user]# dbus-monitor
Failed to open connection to session bus: Unable to autolaunch a dbus-daemon without a $DISPLAY for X11
[root@ru user]# cat /usr/lib/systemd/user/dbus.service
[Unit]
Description=D-Bus System Message Bus
Requires=dbus.socket
[Service]
ExecStart=/usr/bin/dbus-daemon --session --address=systemd: --nofork --systemd-activation
ExecReload=/usr/bin/dbus-send --print-reply --session --type=method_call --dest=org.freedesktop.DBus / org.freedesktop.DBus.ReloadConfig
and as far as I can tell everything see alright there.
EDIT#1:
I just restarted the system to see if my symlink worked for the user-session service. It did, sort of, however the following error occured during boot:
