Unable to activate DSO Request

Hi All,
I have created a DSO based on 2LIS_02_HDR and ITM. I had enhanced HDR Dscrc with some 3 text fields and then i created 3 custom info objects for these text fields. I had selected Master with only Text check box, because i just want to show only text for this characteristics and hence forth i build the DSO and loaded it.
When i load the requests are green, and when its activated, the requests turn red. and the errors i get are:
Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT InfoObject 0DOC_DATE
Value '21102008 ' of characteristic 0DATE is not plausible
Process 000001 returned with errors
Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT InfoObject 0ENTRY_DATE
Process 000018 returned with errors
Activation of M records from DataStore object ZRS_DS01 terminated
I tried the steps, like activation in parallel, increased the process number, and then i run RSRV test for the objects too, but i still get this error.

Can you please check whether system conversion is maintained in Transport Connection tab in Data warehouse workbench (RSA1) in ECC?
Here in conversion you need to specify the source system & target system logical names for the conversion of source system name after the transport.

Unable to activate DSO ( ODS ) in BI 7.0

Hi All,
I am not able to activate the DSO ( ODS ) in BI 7.0 and following are the error messages.
1.Resource error. No batch process available. Process terminated
2.Time limit exceeded. No return of the split processes
3.Activation of M records from DataStore object 0FIGL_O10 terminated
I have also gone through couple of threads on the same ODS, I did set both the 'Activate in Parallel' and 'Get SIDS in parallel' to Dialogue (not background) and select the only available server group i.e. "parallel_generators' . Still I am not able to activate .
Can somebody help me out ?

Hi,
I have noticed an inconsistency between the settings in the customising and these listed in the datastore itself.
Execute transaction RSODSO_SETTINGS and enter your DS there. Press "execute action" on the "Change runtime parameters" option.
Check the parameters for activation and change these to dialog, do the same for Sid generation params.
(Even is these are already set in your DS, I found these still remain on background in RSODSO_SETTINGS).
Try again aferwards.
How many background processes do you actually have available ?
Bear in mind that when you use 3 parallel procs for activation and 3 for Sid generation, you need 3*3 procs !!

Unable to delete DSO request.

Hi Everyone,
We have Real time Data Acquisition (RDA) implemented in our system. Yesterday RDA failed due to invalid characters. We corrected data at PSA level and tried to run repair process chain, the request is not deleting with a
diagnosis message "Insertion of a data record into the active table failed. The data record already existed. This indicates manual changes to the database table".
Could somebody help in what way we can delete this request and load the corrected request. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Thanks a lot for your valuable suggestions.
Atlast the request was deleted successfully. I have following request related information to update to all of you.
Apart from the standard tables mentioned, viz., RSICCONT, RSMONICDP and RSODSACTREQ, . There is an other table RSBKREQUEST. This table contains the details of DTP requests.
Even after deleting from other tables mentioned before, we have to set the status field of the table RSBKREQUEST to "DELETED". Ours was in "INCORRECT" status, this was the reason because of which it was unable to run repair process chain, even after DTP request was removed from Infoprovider Administration.
So please note above table, which in very important for DTP requests and first 3 tables are enough only incase DTP is not involved and only infopackage is used to load to data target (3.x version).

Unable to activate :: Could not complete the iTunes Store Request?

Just got my iPhone and i can't activate it.
The error in iTunes is "Could not complete the iTunes Store request. The store may be busy".
It's been like this for an hour. Is the store down or are there firewall ports i need to open?
edit: I was able to download the iPhone firmware upgrade, but still unable to activate.

Figured it out. You have to turn off any Webservers on port 80 and restart iTunes. Then it will work.

Unable to activate Transfer Structure for Generated Datasource in BW3.5

we have clicked the Export datasource and created 8(ODS A)
when created IP for this it gave us all selection in selection screen but we required only 3 Characters

Delete all the DS and try creating from starting, to export DS, with correct selections, and then Activate the Transfer Structure..

Unable to activate Genius

I am unable to activate Genius since upgrading to Windows 7. Prior with Vista and iTunes 9 Genius worked fine. Upgrade to Win7 and I cannot activate Genius.
It goes through step 1 fine then goes into step 2. It pops up an error message after about a minute that says "We could not complete your iTunes store request. The network connection timed out. Make sure your network connections are correct and your network connection is active, then try again".
Well, I have been trying again later for about a month all with the same error.
I have rebuilt the library--no luck.
I CAN access and download new content from the iTunes store. I just cannot activate genius.
Options?

I finally managed to fix this problem by removing groups of songs from my library until Genius successfully started. I started removing artists beginning with A and by the time I got down to D Genius started to work. This made me think that it was related to a specific song. However, I gradually added all of the tracks back in to my library and Genius continued to update OK!! I now have all of the same songs in the library and Genius is working fine. I have over 12000 songs in my library so it may be a bug related to the number of tracks. The downside to removing the tracks (but keeping the files) is that you lose the playcount and you have to add them to your playlists again.

SharePoint Foundation Sandboxed Code Service - Unable to activate worker process proxy object within the worker process

Issue:
On a vanilla installation, the sandboxed code service (e.g. SPUCHostService.exe) is started; however, SPUCWorkerProcessProxy.exe and subsequently SPUCWorkerProcess.exe fails to start.
Resolution/Workarounds attempted:
Attempted 2 different Load balancing settings – local and remote (i.e. affinity)
Ensured local computer policy on server for ‘RPC Endpoint Mapper Client Authentication’ and ‘Restrictions for Unauthenticated RPC clients’ is disabled.
Ensured following key in registry is set properly - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\RPC
Attempted to bypass SharePoint’s check for certificate revocations at crl.microsoft.com
Ensured the service account is added to the respective groups (e.g. Performance Log Users, Performance Monitor Users, IIS_IUSRS, WSS_ADMIN_WPG, WSS_WPG)
Increased limit of ‘AbnormalProcessTerminationCount’ of SPUserCodeService via Powershell

For resolving your issue , you can do as the followings:
1. Logged into the Web Server with the Timer Service Account.
2. Ran the powershell command to check the SID of the account running the spucworkerprocessproxy.exe:
$(Get-SPManagedAccount -Identity "THE SERVICE ACCOUNT").Sid.Value
3. Checked the registry :
HKEY_USERS\[SID OF THE SERVICE ACCOUNT]\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WinTrust\Trust Providers\Software Publishing\State
4. Changed the value 0x00023c00 to 0x00023e00

Unable to Delete init request

HI ALL,
i have a delta laod infoapckage, i tried init w/o data tranfer. request generated with '0' in the data target tab tab.
tried making it green and activate, i tried making it red and delete.. but its not getting deleted.. under update tab delta update option is enabled for infopackage

Request processing in the BI system is taking a long time and processing step Second step in the update has still not been executed.
System Response
Caller is still missing.
Procedure
In the process overview in the BI system, check whether processes are running in the BI system under the background user.
If this is not the case, check the short dump overview in the BI system.
please let me know the solution to activate dso in process chain with this infopackage

Can you tell me why you want to delete the request? What is the scenario?
What do u mean by already have delta IP, i tried init w/o data transfer?
If its not allowing to delete the request from DSO...
Delete the entry from the below table ... RSICCONT ...it will get deleted from the DSo as well.
Later delete the init selections from IP menu --scheduler --> Init options for source system --> delete the init request .
Tcode - se11 --RSICCONT -> enter the request and from menu select the option delete...it will delete the entry from DSO.

I keep clicking on the activation link and then Activate and i keep going around in circles. How can i fix this ? Is there a problem with my account or is it a server issue ?

Change the "cookies setting" of browser as open at third parties.

Unable to activate Adobe Creative Suite 3

My laptop has recently crashed and I had the hard drive replaced. Because I could not deactivate my copy of Adobe Creative Suite 3 prior to the breakdown, I am now unable to activate it as it is indicated that I have used up my activation limit.

CRM Complaint DSO Request was not deleting

While I'm trying to delate a request in COMPLAINT DSO.It was not deleted then I checked error it showing as Rollback error.
What I did: I'm tried to do repair full request and so click on start btn in infopackage(after checking everything I click on start btn) then I got a message like "Due to many selections, a cancellation can occur" by click on continue btn then I got a message like "Do you want to check the conditions again?" then I click on "No" btn then by thinking I'm doing wrong I click on Stop transaction button then onwards I got this problem .Please excuse me .

check for the request in the table RSODSACTREQ and if there is an etry with
OPERATION U
STATUS 2
This entry has to be deleted. Please use Note 868391 (solution step 2)
to delete the request from the ods. You can then reload and activate the
request again.

Unable to activate a Z Master data object

Hi All,
We have a master data object already with some Attributes loaded. I have added few more info objects as attributes to the same and marked them as Navigational. But I'm unable to activate this Master data object. "Error in activating the info objects". I repaired the info object from RSD1 (RSDG_IOBJ_REORG), and then tried to activate it. But in vain. Tried to activate it back ground. The job IOBJ_ACTIVATE is successful but in the job log it says . "Characteristic Z_ORD_MD: Error when generating master data routines
Error when resetting InfoObject Z_ORD_MD to the active version"
We have recently upgraded our BW system from 3.5 to BI 7.0. Requesting your expertise in solving this issue.

FM to change the status od DSO Request

Thanks ! for reply. But before I saw your reply to this thred, I deleted the folder and the files witin in it, caught this action in an activity and chedked in and now I am able to activate the activities.
The problem that I am facing now is that I am unable to checkout the code, When I try to edit a file in my WD Component, I get a popup (with only cancel button) with the following message.
