Hi Prakash, same problem I'm also facing after updating, while at that time without restarting u can do this.
Make a Call to your iPhone from any other number and attend that call. That's it the problem is temp.. Solved.

Hi: I was prompted by iTunes to upgrade my iphone 3GS to IOS 5. I didn't "steal" or did anything illegal. I have upgraded my iPhone software many times before through iTunes and never had any problems. So naturally I clicked "download and upgrade". Little did I know what trouble I got myself into. I'm not able to activate my iphone, and since I am overseas, I don't use my phone for everything except making calls, the phone is locked so I can't use any foreign sim card. I am very angry at Apple for doing something like that. Since I rely my iphone for all communications. Why would they ask me to upgrade then not allow me to activate my phone??????? This is not the first time Apple does something like that. Owning an Apple product should be headache free since we are paying a premium for it. But the reality is far from it.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Tap App Store.
Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Tap Updates.
Tap Purchased on the resulting screen.
Locate the app in your Purchased tab.
Tap the download icon.
The app will begin downloading and you'll be taken back to your home screen.

Why doesn't itunes work on iphone 3gs after IOS 5 update?

After upgrading Iphone 3GS to IOS 5 it does not connect to the Itunes store for updates. I am able to download apps from Icloud but when I try to update apps it gives me an error that it cannot connect to the itunes store. I tried shutting down and restoring the phone. I went to settings went into the "store" logged in an out and still no luck. Does anyone have a fix for this? Please help.

Yes I have both, but I know a lot of times that wi-fi doesn't work with email. And it's all of my yahoo! accounts too. My gmail and iCloud works fine.

Itunes wont sync music to my iphone 4 after iOS 5 update

after my iOS5 update on my iphone 4 Itunes changed a few settings. I had it set up that my iPhone would have music and no photos synced. And my iPad2 All Photos would sync and NO music.
After the update and sync, my iPhone will not sync Music, With in iTunes under the Device iPHONE and the Music tab there are the tracks of music but they are shaded and i am not able to play from there. On my phone there no songs.
Yes I have the boxes checked in the music tab of the iTunes area to Sync ALL.

Right.........Problem Solved!
1) Back up all of your stuff that you want!
2) Restore your Phone (This totally wipes everything so make sure it's backed up)
3) Then turn apps off for syncng and sync music
4) That should sync music onto it.
5) Then sync any apps you need.
This (with the help of a Genius in the Apple Store and took about 1hour and a half) worked for me!

Contacts wiped out on iphone 5 after ios 6 update, how do I restore.

Help, I stupidly installed the ios 6 update on my iphone 5 without researching it first and now my contacts (except for facebook contacts) got wiped out and my text messages do not tell me who they are coming from. Any ideas how to fix this?

I thought I did them on itunes but they are not showing up there either. I wasn't on icloud prior to the update. I tried a restore through itunes and that didn't work. Have been going through the boards trying to find a solution but most answers are to the ios 5 update and are not working for me. I'm beginning to think that I am going to have to do them manually. I don't understand why it wiped out my regular contacts but not the facebook ones.

I've just updated my mums iPhone 4 to iOS 5 and now I've lost everything from it. The whole iPhone has been wiped! The backup doesn't work and I really need some help.

My iPad did the same.
I had to Restore as Udpate would not work (error 3002)
I backed up then restored then Restore from backup but alas, it was empty.
I plugged it back in then did a normal sync and it put everything back on it.

Unable to sync iPhone 6 after iOS 8.1 update

I recently updated my MaBook Air to OS X Yosemite and replaced my iPhone 4 with an iPhone 6. I backed up the old 4 and restored it onto the iPhone 6 no problem. Everything was working fine, no issues. A day or so later, iTunes prompted me to update to iOS 8.1 (from 8.02 which was on the phone when I bought it last week). After updating (again no issues), I find that the Health App no longer works (all previous data entries had gone, and when I come to add new data, it just freezes). Also, when I come to sync the phone with iTunes, I get to 6 of 7 steps and then it fails with error code 1723 unknown error. Becoming very annoying now, this has happened several times in the last few days...... grateful for any suggestions before I completely wipe the phone and have to start from scratch again....

I have the same problem... My device is overheating and my batteries dies after half of day!

Apple we are waiting for a fix..or give us back ios 8.02!!!!!

ITunes doesn't find iPhone 5s after iOS 8 update

After updating to iOS 8 ITunes 11.4 (18) no longer sees my iPhone 5s, ergo iPhone cannot be back up to computer or synced...
iTunes has no problem seeing my iPad Air with iOS 8, but it is no longer performing automatic wi-fi sync when it is connect to power

Clarification (tried to edit post, but I was told that I don't have permission to edit my own post!)
If directly connected to the iMac via USB, iTunes sees the phone... it just can't see it via wi-fi...

Itunes store not loading on iphone 5 after ios 7 update

I rescently updated to ios 7 and now my itunes store does not work. I open the app and it shows the little loading symbol in the status bar next to the wifi signal, after a few seconds its stops loading and allows me to scroll but the page is completely blank. All of the little tabs at the bottom still are clickable but they do not display the propper page either. iTunes radio also will not allow me to look at the song info and click the options button (??) next to the option to buy the song. All help is appreciated
i have already tried some of the other options i have seen online:
turning phone on and off
hard restarting phone (home and power button)
logging out of itunes store and app store
logging out and hard restarting
connecting from both wifi and cell

The music player does not remember where the last session ended. I have about 1000 songs on my iPhone. I play the songs in the Shuffle mode - and it worked fine on iOS 5.x. Ever since I updated to iOS 6.0, the shuffle seems to be seriously broken. It repeats the song sequence of previous session in the exact order instead of starting from where the session ended. God forbid if your last session was 10-25 songs long - you'll have to hit the Next song so many times to listen to something that you have not heard for a while.

I dont think it was jailbreaked or anything it was unlocked when i bought it and after i did a update it wouldn't active it gets me a error saying to try again later,IMEI:01 285400 522628 3

Generally this is a sign that the iPhone had previously been
hacked/modified/jailbroken and the update relocked it to the
original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that wireless
carrier can unlock your iPhone. You must contact them to see
if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
Where did you acquire this iPhone?
What wireless carrier did you use before this problem?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?
