Unable to activate- says key is revoked
So I had Adobe Web Premium CS3 and also Flash trial CS4 on here.
I bought Web Premium CS4 today and tried to install. It immediately said the license key was revoked.
I could not get a straight answer from support on whether or not I should have uninstalled the trial first.
So I did and tried again.
It activated, gave me the green check, but on reboot it came up and said "please excuse the interruption".
Uninstalled CS3, CS4, did searches and reg rips for anything Adobe except the downloaded CS4 install files, and tried again.
It activated OK but on reboot it said please excuse the interruption, this license key is invalid (Revoked) again.
Support had told me over the phone to make sure to chose worldwide english as my language when installing, but it is not asking me to chose a language. I am just using the standard installation option, not the custom.
I have already called support 3 times today and no joy.
Help please.
I think you need to continue your discussion with support. I don't think that we, as non-Adobe people, can assist. Good luck!

Go to Solution.This problem has already been addressed in other threads. It's down to a field missing in your account profile. You need to access your account profile settings, find the field containing the contact phone number for your account (which is well hidden - it's also probably blank) and entering the number of your landline.
After that you can retry the order and it should go through.
A totally non obvious solution to a confusing error message. BT should have done something about it as it is catching loads out. -

Same thing here. I love how they include this nice and easy to follow guide in the box and the KEY step for activation (the phone call) is a total fail. To verizon: the automated just says Terms and Conditions have been accepted for this number. Press 1 to enter another phone number in the order. Well, I HAD NO other phone number in my order. The message gives no other options. She repeats the same line 3 more times and after the 3rd time, it says please hold while we transfer you, call may be monitored etc. Guess what, its 2 am ET and customer service is closed?
Do you guys expect thousands of iphone customers to speak to a CSR just to activate? Why not just let us do it online? I have activated plenty of phones even LTE phones, online. Now I'm going to have to compete with the other 30,000 people who ran into this same problem overnight tomorrow on the phone.... -
Got an (unlocked) iphone 4s from US and tried activating in India but it throws an error saying 'unable to activate bcos the activation server cannot be reached' ..I tried connecting to itunes through my laptop but it does not detect my iphone..pls help

As kb1951 states, unless this phone was purchased directly from Apple, it is not officially unlocked. In the US, only Apple sells officially unlocked iPhones. The message you got generally means your phone was hacked to unlock it...jailbroken...Apple's servers have detected such & are preventing your phone from activating...there's nothing wrong with the activation servers.
You'll need a sim card from the carrier your phone is locked to in order to activate it. If you don't know what carrier, you'll have to call AppleCare in the US to determine this info. Be aware, US carriers will not authorize official unlocking unless you are a customer that used the phone on their network. Thus, there is most likely no way for you to get this phone officially unlocked.

as the title says agter i updated my iphone 3gs to the latest software through itunes, my phone reset to complete update and when my phone came back on it can't find a signal and is unable to activate and itunes says the phone doesn't have a sim in it

Jailbroken phones can not be discussed here.
It's highly likely that it is now bricked. The jailbreak most likely did permanent damage. There are lots of reports of previously jailbroken/hacked phones that become unusable when attempting to apply a legitimate unlock. -

When I try activating my iMessage or FaceTime it says unable to activate check network settings. One day it just stopped working and I updated to 6.1.2 to try and fix it and now it won't let me activate it at all. Can someone help me?
I too faced the same problem . I was using imessage in ios6 and when i upgraded , There were issues like ,
check network connections and Try again . , Connect to itunes for Push notifications . It was irritating and annoying for everyone i guess
Steps to Resolve the i meeage issue
1) Connect your phone to P.C and Back up your datas to P.C via I tunes
2) Once the back up is complete . Connect your phonbe to Wifi or 3G cellular network and Boldly go to Settings-->General --> Reset--> Erase all datas
( Do not worry if you had backed up your datas )
3) Iphone will reboot . it will take some time
4) Then your iphone will start . Click next and you will be prompted for i message activation . Give your apple id and Sign in
5)Keep your phone connected . In P.C you will be prompted if you want to restore ( EOther wise go to I tunes --> File --> Device--> Restore back up
It really worked for me .

please help ASAP !!Where did you get it from? I would suggest to try and connect your phone to your computer with iTunes and try restoring.

iPhone 3GS, iOS 6Your iPhone was "unofficially" unlocked by some means to work with a different carrier. Now that you have updated it has relocked to the original carrier. If you do not know who the original carrier was you will need to call AppleCare and give them the model and serial number of your iPhone. Then you will need to contact that carrier to see if they have a process to unlock the phone and if you qualify.

What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>About=>Carrier?
Is there a valid sim in the iPhone? -
