Unable to activate trial due to a previous installation???

I got the message saying
- Unable to activate trial due to a previous installation of a NitroX trial on this computer.
I've read the announcement post on "Error during activation of NitroX Free JSP Editor" but I don't understand for several points.
1. I'd never installed a previous installation on that machine! Why did I get this message?
I've tried to remove the whole Eclipse directory and tried again, but I still get the same error message. I've tried to search if there's anything in the registry but none is found.
2. Despite point 1, I tried to go on and paste the same ID and serial # I use for the other machine, but NitroX refused to accept it. Is this normal?
3. I suppose point 2 means that an ID/serial pair could only be used once, right? So, I clicked on a link to register but failed because your server says that the email address has been used (of course!). And when I logged in, I couldn't find how I could add a second ID/serial pair. Does this mean I need to create a new account everytime I want an ID/serial pair? :shock: This isn't convenient :!:

I see. So in other word, if I need an ID/serial pair, I have to use another email address.
This is so inconvenient and so impractical. Don't you think so?
I mean, for free version, you can't prevent users from creating n logins to have n ID/serial pairs to work with his n PC. Why don't you just simply let them associate as many ID/serial as they like? Is this more pragmatic?
Anyway, it's your policy but imagine how many "preventable" mails always asking the same question of "Why my ID/serial doesn't work?" you could avoid.

    Assuming something goes wrong during first trial installation... how are people ever going to getting it installed a second time (assuming you don't want to re-install your PC) ?
    Probably it's necessary to buy a license if you really need to try it seriously.

    if it's because you've used your max of 2 current activations and need to deactivate (and you'll see that message if that's the problem), contact adobe support - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service1.html

    The above error message looks to be a strange one in J2I8.
    As per the above message, check whether there is any pending subcon-challans due for reversal using J1IFR transaction.
    Also check whether you are getting subcon challans in J2I8.
    Finally, check whether any SAP notes are available.

    Hi Siva,
    Check with your basis guys.
    In most cases, this is due to memory overflow error.  They should free the memory which some interface or logs is holding up.
    Most of these problems are solved by simply restart of the server.
    I strongly suspect that some log file might be growing which would have consumed all memory.

    Jailbroken phones can not be discussed here.
    It's highly likely that it is now bricked. The jailbreak most likely did permanent damage. There are lots of reports of previously jailbroken/hacked phones that become unusable when attempting to apply a legitimate unlock.

    I have a session EJB which deploys and runs when I don't include the interface "EJBBusiness" in the Remote interface.
    However, when I do I get :
    "Unable to activate : The class has dependencies which cannot be resolved: oracle.aurora.ejb.gen.plannergy_library_SQLHelper.EjbHome_SQLHelperHome in <SYS>"
    (as well as a stack dump which I haven't included).
    I can see this class when I view the SYS schema's Java Sources in DBA Studio. I also have an Entity EJB which includes the interface "EJBBusiness" in the Remote interface, and it run's fine.
    Any thoughts?

    I think it is due to the fact that I am writing a 'business interface' for my EJB, then including it in my deployment package.
    This technique is recommended in O'Reilly's 'Enterprise Java Beans' 2nd Edition p344 to ensure the bean interface and the bean match their signature.
    I don't get the 'class bits' error when I write EJB from the wizard, but when I add a business interface it happens first deploy, and is OK for the second one.
    Hope this helps anyone else who is getting this behaviour, I guess we'll have to see what happens in OC4J/Orion.

    Your phone was previously hacked to unlock it from the  carrier to which it was originally locked, and when you restored, the hack was removed and the phone was re-locked to that carrier.  It will no longer activate or work with any other carrier. 
    Your only option is to contact the original carrier, and enquire as to whether they will authorize official unlocking.  Not all carrier will allow unlocking and those that do enforce requirements and eligibility rules (such as being a current or former customer in good standing).

    "The iPhone is not recognized and cannot be activated for service."

    Restart the iPhone.
    Try another means of reaching the activation server and attempt to activate.
    Try connecting to a known-good Wi-Fi network if you're unable to activate using a cellular data connection.
    Try connecting to iTunes if you're unable to activate using Wi-Fi.
    Restore the iPhone.
    If you receive an alert message when you attempt to activate your iPhone, try to place the iPhone in recovery mode and perform a restore. If you're still unable to complete the setup assistant due to an activation error, contact Apple for assistance.
