Unable to add allowed url

Whenever I try to add a url to my list of allowable sites, it does not show up on the list of urls that have been entered. I also have a problem when I try to add a new allowed http rule, when I click on new url the screen just blinks and nothing is added. I am able to add to the my deny url lists, but not add to my allowed list. I can also add a new ftp rule and seems to work correctly. Can anyone think of what I might be doing wrong or if I have some settings wrong on the server?
It is running on NW65 sp 6 with bm 3.9 with the newest n2h2 category server acl.

Unable to add allowed VLANs to TenGig trunk port

Hi,
I've got a ten gig interface on a 6509 running 12.2(33) configured as a trunk, but I've not been able to add any allowed VLANs as I've done before on other ten gig ports on different 6509 chassis. Am I missing something obvious?
I'm assuming that the reason I'm unable to set the encapsulation to dot1q is because the new hardware doens't support ISL, hence no need. The command to add the VLANs however doesn't get rejected, it just doesn't appear to do anything.
I've tried adding single VLANs and multiples, but no joy. Any ideas?

Thanks for getting back to me. You're right that it is by default a dot1q trunk allowing all VLANs, therefore it should work for what I want to do.

The problem was that I've always been advised that best practise is to only allow the VLANs that are actually required on a trunk to avoid broadcasting traffic unnecessarily. I worked out what the issue was though, and it was a pretty simple one!
Once I saw that 1-4094 was allowed I tried "switchport trunk allowed vlan remove 700" which worked and left me with 1-699,701-4094.
Then I realised what the problem was trying to use the "add" command when all possible VLANs had already been added. As soon as I got rid of it and used "switchport trunk allowed vlan 700" followed by "switchport trunk allowed vlan add 701" I was back in business.
So it was a very simple issue, but thank you Steve for pointing me in the right direction and confirming that all the VLANs were already allowed!

Unable to add account to Outlook 2010 for email address under custom domain

I am unable to add a new account in Outlook 2010 for an email account set up under a custom domain.
Can anyone explain why login credentials that work for outlook.com (successful access to email inbox) return an authentication failure (401 error) when used to test connectivity via https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com?
Details:
I set up a custom domain at https://domains.live.com and did the following DNS configuration steps at my web hosting company following instructions from domains.live.com:
Created custom MX record
Created CNAME record [name:] autodiscover.jrergonomics.com [value:] autodiscover.outlook.com.
I created email addresses at domains.live.com > jrergonomics.com > Member accounts and tested by successfully logging in to outlook.com.
When I try to add either account to Outlook 2010, I get a popup box with this information:

The credentials that I use successfully to log in to outlook.com don't work here; I get the popup box 3-4 times and then the Outlook 2010 Add New Account dialog displays an error:

Master Detail Form - unable to add detail row

Dear,
I have a test application that runs for years on apex.oracle.com.
Since 3rd of june 2010 I am unable to add rows on a detail form.
Any ideas?

4.0 Conversion Issue
Lorenz stated I can create the orderheader, but unable to create orderlines.Simply nothing happens, when I click the add row button.>
I share the same issue as Lorenz, on a Master/Detail form, I am able to create my Master row and but nothing happens when attempting to create detail rows. I was able to switch my application to theme 13 (Traditional Blue) from 2 (Blue and Tan) and was then able to create and add details rows.
My dilemma. When switching to theme 13 and others, none appear to support Two Level Tabs in the same manner as Theme 2. Essentially the applications look and feel is not going to go over well with my user base of 3+ years.
Is there another standard theme that will support Two Level Tabs like Theme 2 and allow the addition of detail rows on a Master/Detail form?
Is this a reported 4.0 conversion issue?

Hi, my printer HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf Mfp, suddenly didnt work so i remove the printer, and downloaded a new driver http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-LaserJet-Pro-M1536-Multifunction-Printer-series/3974271/model/3974278#Z7_3054ICK0KGTE30AQO5O3KA30R1 once dowloaded, i run it and uninstall the printer, restart my pc, and proceed to installing. but in the process of installing a error occurr, saying that "Unable to add printer, error code 87", and that " HP Toolbox FX has encountered an error and can not recover. once i click ok. it tells me to restart my pc and reinstall it again. i did it for 8x, and still with the same error. please help really need a help right now. as my boss is going to kill me

I understand that you're getting the error 'Unable to add print driver hpfax1, error code 87' when installing your HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf Multifunction Printer on your Windows 7 computer. I would like to assist you today with resolving this install issue. Thank you for including all of the troubleshooting steps that you have completed prior to reaching out for support. At this time I am going to walk you through some additional software and driver troubleshooting steps. Please follow all of the steps below. If you're using your HP Laserjet through a USB Cable connection, please disconnect that cable now. Step one: Remove Driver: 1. Click on your Start menu 2. Select Control Panel 3. Select Programs and Features 4. When Programs and Features opens a list of programs installed on your computer will populate. Click on the 'Installed ON' tab at the top to change the date so the recently installed items show at the top. This will make it easier to manually locate the three HP Laserjet items you need to uninstall. 5. Next, look for the HP LJ M1530 MFP Series HP Scan, HPLaserJetHelp_LearnCenter, and HP LaserJet Professional M1530 MFP Series. If you see any 3 of these, or all 3 of these items, please click on them and select Uninstall. Unable to add a new track in Garageband 10.0.2

Hi, I'm using the latest version of Mavericks and Garageband 10.0.2. I'm unable to add a new track.
I repeatedly hit the + button, I go into the menu and hit "add a new track," I try to use keyboard shortcuts, and nothing seems to work.
Yesterday when I tried to create an "empty project," it wouldn't allow me to start the session, instead it gave me this error code, "The specified number of tracks could not be created. Reduce the number of tracks to create, then try again."
I restarted my computer and tried again today, and I don't get the same error, but am still not able to add tracks. Not sure what's going on. Restarted it a couple of times and I'm still getting the same issue.
Any help would be awesome.

The musical typing is a legacy instrument from GarageBand '11. You can use it, and drop samples to the keys, but GarageBand 10.0 does not save the patch. If you still have GarageBand '11 installed, create the custom sampler instrument in GarageBand '11 and save it there. It will appear in the library in the "User Channel Strip Section" category.

Calendar Server - Unable to add users

When I try to add users to a node I get an error message like:

the problem may be. If you see entries like:

If you have recently imported data into your Directory Server, it is likely
that these entries no longer exist. An import to a Directory Server does
not append data; it replaces the current directory with the data in the
LDIF file being loaded. You will need to recreate this Calendar information.
Export your directory to an LDIF file and review the output to see if these
entries exist.
<P>
Here is a boilerplate that may be useful if you don't have a backup copy
of the original LDIF. Try replacing the baseDN (o=Airius.com) and the node
id (15000) to match your Calendar configuration. The password is "password".

Unable to add network printers from Windows Server 2012 R2 to client running Windows 7 Pro x64

New Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard in the environment. Added print services to it and added five HP printers to it and shared them. Also deployed the printers via group policy.
Clients are running Windows 7 Pro x64. The group policy fails to install the printers (error 0x00000002). We get the same error when trying to manually add the printer from the client side.
From Event Viewer: Group Policy was unable to add per computer connection <<printer share>>. Error code 0x2. This can occur if the name of the printer connection is incorrect, or if the print spooler cannot contact the print server.
Any ideas on troubleshooting this?

You might try playing with the HP universal driver, that might help you. Try installing a new shared printer on the server using the universal print driver, then try and connect to it to see if it is any better.
Check these GPO settings to ensure local machines can install the drivers.
1. Configure the following two Group Policy settings:
Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\System\Driver Installation\Allow non-administrators to install drivers for these devices setup classesEnabled
2. Device class GUID of printers: {4d36e979-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}
Computer Configuration/Policies/Administrative Templates/Printers/Point and Print RestrictionsEnabled
Security Prompts: When Installing Drivers for a new connection = Do not show warning or elevation prompt

Path issue leaving me unable to add blog post content in design view

Hi guys,
I am unable to add blog post content in design view when a template is applied to my blog. BC support have told me they fixed the problem by making minor changes to the paths of the css and javascript files and then told me to post on here for the solution.
When I call the files using <link rel="stylesheet" href="/css/custom.css" /> everything displays perfectly but in BC I can't add blog post content in design view. I can edit in html but this isn't ideal for clients to update the blog.
If I change the paths to <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/custom.css" /> it fixes the problem and I can then edit blog content in design view but all blog pages that are in folders display incorrectly. Only the main blog page display properly.
I'm sure the answer is simple but I can't find it so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I took a look at your page URL and can't find any CSS issues or styles that would directly affect you editing/adding content to a blog post via the content editor.
Make sure you either clear your cache or try in another browser to see if the problem is localized to your current browser.
If you still have the problem can you link me to a screencast (you can use Jing if you don't have a screencast program: http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html) of what you are experiencing?

Unable to add a hyperlink to an ID

I'm unable to add a hyperlink to an ID on the page. Inserting in an ID into the hyperlink menu prepends the "http:///" to it. At the very least, it would be helpful to be able to link to "#top" as most browsers handle that by default these days. But, more importantly, it makes it difficult to link to a particular ID that isn't generated by Muse. URLs that start with '#' shouldn't get the protocol added at the beginning.
If you have a workaround for it, I'd love to hear it.

That's likely what I'll be using for now, but it will make my process a bit more complicated. This is for a custom widget, and I was hoping to be able to instruct customers "If you want X to happen, just make a hyperlink to #id and whenever the user clicks on that it will." For now, I guess I'll have to go with another widget part in the library.

How to add Friendly URLs in Weblogic Portal?

Hi,
We are developing a portal using Weblogic 10gR3. Right now the URL's that are getting formed are very long which includes the nfpb, nfls, pagelabel e.t.c. The requirement is to have a very user friendly url something like http://www.x.com/portal/<<pageLabel>>
The Weblogic documentation mentions something about URL compression, however unable to apply it for dynamic URL's. We have URL's which are formed on the fly from the WLP Content Repository
Is there some kind of servlet / filter provided within WLP. I read somewhere about an URLTransformationServlet. But there was no documentation on its usage. Can some one share a sample code snippet with me. That would be really really helpful, as we are having a slight time crunch here.
Any kind of help on this will be deeply appreciated. Thanks

WLProxy configuration falls under the weblogic server product hence you will have to raise an SR with that product to get any suggestions.
Before that I would suggest you play around with the parameter I have suggested and see how it is impacting the url and then if there is any specific area you are stuck on check with the WLS team.
Like I mentioned earlier, I do not know if this will completely meet your business requirement, but something you can look into.

URLCompression servlet is the only option that weblogic portal provides out of the box to compress the URL of WLP. I understand this does not suite your requirement.
The other option I can think of that can possibly help you achieve this is to configure any weblogic proxy plugin that you might be making use of, see the document

Unable to add security token for identity

Hi all,
I am trying to implement a web service with username token authentication. I have defined the ws -policies in the wsdl, and checked the Process Security Header checkbox in the proxy configuration. But when I invoke the proxy through test console and pass the full soap envelope , I am getting an "Unable to add security token for identity" error
This is how the soap header looks from the request document part of the test console:

This points to a misconfiguration of your security. Possible causes are:
* There is not a valid RSA key to sign the SAML token with.
* The SAML CredentialMapper is missing
* There is no Relying Party (rp) configured for SAML Credential Mapper that matches your producer
* The producer is using User Name Token and you have no configured the DefaultCredentialMapper to allow for UserNameToken.

After changing laptops, i am unable to add songs into my iPhone 4. The song appears in the library but not in the device. Help!

I have not been able to add songs into my iPhone after switching computers. The mp3 format of these current songs are in the old laptop and i am unabe to retrieve them. In the new laptop, i am unable to add songs to my device, only to the iTunes library.

Best route here is to focus initially solely on the iTunes Library. Once it has all the Songs that you want, turn off iTunes Match, sign out of iTunes Store and restart the computer from cold.
Moving to the iPhone would suggest a restore and fresh link to the library post the following steps.
1. Sign in to iTunes Store;
2. Turn on iTunes Match - allow 3-step process to run to completion;
3. Make secure backup of library;
4. Force iPhone in to restore mode - hold down 'power on/off' with 'home key' for 10 seconds
5. Attach iPhone via USB to computer and follow 'restore' instructions in iTunes
6. Once complete synchronise with library as required
At this stage all required Songs should be on the iPhone - post iPhone back-up a good point to fully enable iTunes Match on the iPhone if required.

Unable to add a signature and the fill ?

I am unable to add a signature with acrobat pro for mac. pushing the fill & sign button opens a completely blank window beside the document.
not sure how to fix this problem.

It's possible to set up your signature on the Desktop such that it can be simply dragged into the Camera icon's "From the Web" field...
1. Right click on an already posted pic
2. Choose "Open Link in New Tab"
3. From the address bar of that new tab, drag the URL's favicon (little icon) to your Desktop whereupon an "@" icon will be created
The above only has to be done once, and then to use that image in future posts...
1. Click the Camera icon
2. Click "From the Web"
3. Drag the URL's "@" icon from your Desktop to the URL field and click Insert Image
And if you want your signature instead of a generic "@" icon, that's possible too:
