Unable to add artwork to videos in iTunes 11 after iOS 7 upgrade
Prior to upgrading to iOS 7, I had collected many of my own video files which are uploaded to my iPad. But after upgrading to iOS 7, they suddenly have no artwork associated with them.
When I connect my iPad to iTunes to try and add artwork to the videos, the Artwork tab is greyed out.
Is anyone else having this problem? I'm sick of looking at a bunch of greyed out boxes in Videos on my iPad and not being able to do anything about it.
I had the same problem on IPAD after updating to 7.0.6 . I did reset all network settings. Done complete restore again, but didnot solved my problem. But the thing i dont want to do with the ipad was the jailbreak. I tried the Evasi0n jailbreak and installed ccsettings from cydia and it gave the option of 3G on /off in control centre. (Swiping up from home button and then your see many controls and then you can swipe left or right and you will see 3G button) . I just switched on the 3G BUTTON and solved the problem of stucking in Edge on ipad and 3G started working perfectly. It's sad IOS 7.0.6 has bug and does not enable 3G on IPAD

That's usully symptomatic of a phone that was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it.

After iOS 5 upgrade my "artists" are all screwed up on my iPhone but are fine on my iTunes. ANY SOLUTIONS?? HELP!!
I had a similar problem to you that I have since solved.
At first only some albums/songs were missing artwork but they all showed up fine in itunes. I went into itunes and did the view where the album art is displayed next to the album in a list, middle option for viewing. I found that on several 1-2 songs did not have the artwork attached and so that was the cause of it not showing up on my iphone. However after I got all that solved I found that the artworks were all messed up. Much like you described many songs had the complete wrong artwork and some songs on the same album had different artworks or the same artwork showed up on multiple albums.
I could only come up with resyncing my iphone to solve it. I only use one playlist for my iphone so that I can sort of do manual management and only have to deal with one playlist. So I unchecked the playlist and did a sync to clear off all the audio. Then I rechecked the playlist and did a sync to reload everything and after that was done everything appeared correctly.
I didn't notice if this was affecting any of my purchased albums, I don't have that many so I didn't think about it but affected a lot of them. I hope this helps in some way and that you can get it working again. -

itunes taking more time to Sync apps data after IOS 6 upgrade in iphone 4s. Also itunes is getting hanged and is very slow. I tried twice and still having the same issue.
I also noticed that. Even with a cable connection. Just a small pdf file hangs forever.
Forever ... 12/15 seconds maybe? It's a long time really, for such a small sync.
File transfer not so much! That behaves normally here, as one would expect with iOS5 and previous versions before iTunes 10.7.
It's the first steps. Doing whatever it is doing. Those are definitely slower now. It takes a while until it starts the actual transfer. -

before upgrading to Lion, I switched from MobileMe to iCloud. At that time I used my MobileMe user name and password. I purchased additional storage space to 20GB. I was unable to send any emails during this time. After researching, I upgraded to Lion and changed my icloud mail usuer name and password from the original I used from mobileme. How do I get my upgraded storage to my new account. I intend to delete the first one.

Unfortunately you can't, the additional storage belongs to your first account, you can't transfer it. -

I had the same problem as kurt185. But now I found the solution. It is a bug in the iTunes app:
You have to go to Settings>Safari>BlockCookies and must change from "Always" to "From third parties and advertisers".
After that iTunes works perfectly. -

According to the technical specifications for your iPhone 5, MP4 is a supported file format ( iPhone 5 - Technical Specifications ) so you can also try syncing the video over the same way you would sync music:

Cannot add artwork from computer to itunes 12.1
I can add add artwork from itunes store but most of my collection are old and itunes cannot find them. I have loaded them onto Helium ( It found them) But I cannot get them in itunes. Add artwork way, Copy and paste, Drag them Nothing works.
iTunes 12.1 should support three ways to add artwork using existing image files on your PC, all starting with right-click > Get Info and then the Artwork tab, Then:
click the Add Artwork button, navigate to and select an image file on your computer, or
drag and drop an image file from your computer to the Artwork tab, or
copy an image to the clipboard, for example, from a web page, go to the Artwork tab and press Ctrl-V (the right-click > Paste option that was available in prior releases is not available in iTunes 12.0 or 12.1)
However, there are three cases in which you can follow these procedures but artwork is not correctly associated with or embedded in your media files:
your media are in a format that doesn't accommodate embedded artwork - typically WAV files. To embed artwork you'll need to convert to another format - Apple Lossless or AIFF if you want to preserve lossless quality, AAC or MP3 otherwise.
your media files are read only - to fix this, use Windows Explorer to find the folder that contains your files, right-click and select Properties. On the General tab there's a check box labeled "Read-only" - if this is checked, or is grey (sometimes blue), click the box so that the flag is unchecked and the box is white. Click OK, and then OK again when the "Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files" option selected. Now try adding the artwork again.
Windows permissions issues are preventing iTunes from updating your media files (there's some anecdotal evidence of a change in this behavior in iTunes 12). See turingtest2's notes on Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows for advice on fixing this, then try adding the artwork again. -
Can´t add music and videos to iTunes
If I try to add music or videos to my iTunes library nothing happens at all, even if the files are mp3 and mp4. But there´s no error shown to me. Just nothing happens. I know that this question was already asked, but there´s no answer which helpes me. It´s strange, because it works for nearly a year.
