Unable to add or delete bookmarks

I have recently noticed when trying to delete some old bookmarks from Safari (4.0.3) that they return after I close and re-open Safari. I am also unable to add new bookmarks. They appear to be added, however, once I re-open Safari the new bookmarks are no longer there. I have tried to reset Safari, and empty the cache and just about everything else I could think of. I previously had Xmarks, however I uninstalled it prior to updating, but I'm not sure how long I may have been having this bookmarking problem. Any advice?

Already uninstalled the Xmarks program (only add on for safari I installed), reset safari, and trashed com.apple.safari.plist. Are there any other preference files I need to delete because I am still having same problem? After my restart from trashing bookmarks.plist from safari folder, shouldn't it have returned after the restart? There is no bookmark.plist file in safari anymore.
Any more help is still appreciated.

Make a master list, preferably on iCloud.
You should be able to move contacts around via iTunes.
Just drop the vCards into the Address Book and wait for the sync to finish.

Do you mean bookmark folders? i.e. you can arrange all of your Sports Sites in the same folder. If so then click on Bookmarks and click the all bookmark folder.

Unable to add or delete notes

I just updated to 1.1.3, from 1.1.1, everything was working great prior to the upgrade
Now I cannot add or remove notes, I can see my old notes, but I cannot delete them, or add new ones.
I did a restore, no change

If you look in:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
there is a directory which looks like a GUID and in that are the files that itunes uses to backup your phone and all the settings. Check the date to see if the iPhone has backed up since your last sync. Note though that this is only be updated if there is any new content in your iPhone since the last sync.

Bookmarks is transitioning able to access your bookmarks in read-only -expect the transition to be fully complete by October 20, 2011, after which you will have access to your bookmarks with the ability to add/ edit/ delete bookmarks.

CAN ANYTHING BE DONE TO SPEED UP THIS TRANSITION PLEASE?

Looking at the error message "The Network Adapter could not establish the connection" , It appears hostname and port may be incorrect. Review the targets.xml under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\emd and
emoms.properties under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\config folder to make sure host ( sap_solman) and port (1527) are correct.
As far as setting the environment variables goes, you can go to control panel -> system -> advanced -> environment variables and set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID

Safari will not delete bookmarks

Safari will not add or delete bookmarks. If a bookmark is deleted it will reappear when safari is reloaded. Same thing when adding a bookmark.

Try troubleshooting the Safari .plist file.
Quit Safari.
Open a Finder window. Select your Home Folder in the Sidebar on the left. It has a small house icon. Then open the Library folder then the Preferences folder.
Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop. Relaunch Safari. Try creating a new bookmark. If that didn't help, move the .plist file back to the Preferences folder.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 7 buttons, click Reset. Try a bookmark.

Unable to add or delate city in today view for time or weather

I am unable to add or delete a new location or city in the today view for either the weather or world time. I have clicked on the "i" and it then prompts me to click on the "+" circle for world time, however, when I attempt to click on the "+" I get no response. Any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong?

It doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong. But I have a couple of suggestions for you to try. First force quit the Time and Weather apps. See this article:

If it still isn't working, I would again force quit the apps and then reset the iPhone. See this article:

It started after the major update to iOS 7.
I can't believe that this is so hard to do. It's just not letting me. I can add a bookmark to the home screen just fine, just not in a bookmarks folder anywhere I try.
I've used Apple products since 2001 and have always loved how intuitive they are. But the Safari browser since iOS 7 has been the worst I've experienced. At least right in the beginning after that update.
I'd really appreciate any help that doesn't just tell me how it's suppose to work...I know that.
My iPad 4 is not affected with the problem and works as it should.

I know you can't help with my Yahoo problem, however, apparently at some time in the past I have went to the Sync and tried to figure it out on both my laptop and my desktop, because I have the long snyc key information. However, when I go to try to sync both computers I never get the box to enter that key on either one. That is my problem. So should I try and get a new sync key and see if that works.

I fixed it..sort of.
Using the link below, BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) sent an email with a link to set up the email through the web. It was a very quick and easy set-up for Google App Email. No guessing settings - it just worked. And it allowed me to have two email set-ups with the same email address..sort of.
There was no way to have two mail folders on the phone with the old mail & new, but by doing it this way, a new folder was set up on my phone for the new address, and all the old messages remained in the Main Message folder. I don't know if that would have happened if I deleted the old account. I read a lot of people having trouble with Google Apps setup so this is definitely the way to go:

Troubleshooting a start up script can be difficult. There are some third party programs that also keep logs of start up programs, however for Firefox this may be different.

In the control panel there is also Administrative tools to view event logs, but this may be something a local technician can walk you through.

Can't delete bookmark

System info: Ubuntu 11.10, running Firefox-trunk 12.0a1 (2012-01-21), unable to delete bookmarks.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
