Unable to add or edit SSRS 2010 subscriptions on reports that need to be saved to specific SharePoint document library

I have a SharePoint 2010 Reports library that has reports with old subscriptions.  Whenever a user tries to add a subscription or edit one by selecting the ellipsis to choose this particular library we get the SharePoint correlation error that really
doesn't provide much information.  We can successfully add the subscription by manually entering the folder path into the subscription without using the ellipsis or by using another library to store the subscriptions in.  I've looked at the Reporting
services logs but I don't see much there either.
There was someone with a similar issue with SharePoint 2013.  I've added the name of the article below but I haven't found anything about SharePoint 2010.  Any ideas are welcome....

If you re-publish the report, can you create a subscription from it? Remember that with SSRS 2012 and higher, you need to have Contribute rights to the report to create subscriptions.

    Workaround is to not use a sharepoint document library but write the report to a windows file share (this works but is not optimal).
    Hoping someone at Microsoft or an expert will come back with something.

    Hi,
    Can you check the SharePoint ULS log located at : C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS, and look at the log there when the error occurs?
    You can also check the Application Event Log on the SQL Server to see if there are any additional errors.

  • Delivery Error when creating Sharepoint Document Library subscription

    Recently we have been having issue with a subscription from a report we have.
    We have a report that has been generated and have a subscription from that report to create a PDF document within sharepoint.
    Recently the subscription stopped working and we have these errors showing:
    A delivery error has occurred. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.DeliveryErrorException: A delivery error has occurred. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.InvalidExtensionParameter: One of the extension parameters
    is not valid for the following reason: Failed to validate the delivery setting PATH.The specified user USERNAME could not be found.

    Looking into this, I found a few things but they did not help.
    One thing was to install update 5 for SQL server 2012 R2, but that didn't help.
    Another thing was saying something about there being 2 user accounts, a claims account and a windows user account, but I couldn't figure out how to make it use the correct account.
    I also tried to save it to a Windows File Share, and try to save it to the Sharepoint server side, however that failed stating it couldn't find that path.
    Being that sharepoint is tricky with its file store (is there really a location on the server that files are stored, I cant find it) I could not figure it out.
    I know I can windows explorer to the file location, \\site\shared documents\Folder but if I go to the web servers that host sharepoint I can't find where this path really is.

    According to your post, my understanding is that you want to get error in accessing sharepoint document library files.
    The cause is that the account being used to validate accounts on the production domain had been set to expire the password according to the general domain policy.
    Once the account is set to never expire, the issues will disappear.

  • Unable to add account to Outlook 2010 for email address under custom domain

    I am unable to add a new account in Outlook 2010 for an email account set up under a custom domain.
    Can anyone explain why login credentials that work for outlook.com (successful access to email inbox) return an authentication failure (401 error) when used to test connectivity via https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com?
    Details:
    I set up a custom domain at https://domains.live.com and did the following DNS configuration steps at my web hosting company following instructions from domains.live.com:
    Created custom MX record
    Created CNAME record [name:] autodiscover.jrergonomics.com [value:] autodiscover.outlook.com.
    I created email addresses at domains.live.com > jrergonomics.com > Member accounts and tested by successfully logging in to outlook.com.
    When I try to add either account to Outlook 2010, I get a popup box with this information:
    Title: "Windows Security"

    [ ] Remember my credentials

    The credentials that I use successfully to log in to outlook.com don't work here; I get the popup box 3-4 times and then the Outlook 2010 Add New Account dialog displays an error:

  • Unable to add or edit users in iphoto web gallery

    I'm unable to add new users/passwords in the "album viewable" drop-down when trying to start a new gallery away from my home gallery. I can also not delete old user/passes that are in there from galleries that I've deleted. I hit OK, and everything just greys out. Is there a preference file that needs to be trashed? It may be a result of using multiple computers to post photos into galleries, but I am just looking for a fix for now.

    Try deleting the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder. Now try editing them again.
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.≤br>
    Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

  • How to add User Permissions to form created in InfoPath 2010 created for SharePoint document Library

    I created a form in InfoPath 2010 with three views (one for user input, the other two views to be used by supervisors) and published this to a SharePoint 2010 document library. Now the way this form is supposed to work is that when a User goes to the document
    library and adds a document, it is supposed to open the Form with the User's input view. When the User submits the document, only him/her should be able to open and possibly edit the the form. When the Immediate Supervisor opens the form, it should open in
    the Supervisors view and allow them to fill in only their section and not be able to edit or alter the user's data. When the Immediate Supervisor saves the document, the Over-all Supervisor should be able to open it in their view and not be able to edit or
    alter the sections filled out by the User and Immediate Supervisor.
    How would i go about completing this? I have the views created but now have the problem of associating these views with their respective users or groups.

    You need to first create user group in sharepoint site then add user in group according to their role. Later you need to call usergroup.asmx web service to get current logged-In user group name so you can switch view and also apply rule for editing or disabling

  • How to view / edit other users subscriptions to reports via report admin user ?

    Is there a built-in GUI means or power tool to access a list of all the users' subscriptions to reports in SQL 2012 ?
    It seems that report admin can only view his own subscriptions, same as any other user via "my subscriptions", but no found option for report admin user to view or manage susbcriptions of other users.
    How would u recommend to view the list of all the subscriptions to reports in SSRS, and as necessary to
    also manage them ?
    p.s. Is there a GUI for this in SQL 2014 ?

    According to your description, you want to access a list which contains all users subscriptions and edit them. Right?
    In Reporting Services, we have a table named "Subscription" in the ReportServer database. It includes all the information of each subscription. Please go to SQL Server Management Studio and try the query below in ReportServer database:
    select c.UserName,b.SubscriptionID,a.ItemID ReportID,a.Path,a.Name ReportName
    from Subscriptions b inner join Catalog a on a.ItemID=b.Report_OID inner join Users c on b.OwnerID=c.UserID
    It will return us each subscription with corresponding ReportName, UserName and Path:
    Then we can go to the Report based on the path if we need to edit the subscription. We don't have build-in GUI for any version SQL, but this can be a good method to get the list of subscriptions.

    I have a document library in Sharepoint 2010 where users may upload documents.
    The goal is that users may see the documents but not edit them.
    How can i get the doc library so that users may upload documents, but can't edit any of the documents?
    Is there a way out of the box?

  • Document could not Save after edit in SharePoint Document Library

    Hi,
    Actually the User is as "Contributor" Access.
    I have uploaded the word document in document library. After that i have "Checked Out" and "Edit in Microsoft Word".
    Its opening correctly and I have made some changes and tried to save.i am getting message Like "File is read Only".
    So, what would be the issues. I am wired like anything because of it. The same thing happen for "Excel Document".
    Can anyone suggest me on this.

    Yes I have checked. "Content Type is selected as :No" only.
    "Allow management of content types?" option is "No" only in "Content Type"
    Still its showing the same.

  • Blackberry Storm II - Unable to add or edit contacts

    Hi,
    I have a two year old BB Storm II.
    I have today been unable for the first time to add new contacts or edit existing ones.
    I have tried a battery pull twice!

  • Unable to add re-edited photos to a book.

    I uploaded a folder of photos to ibook and found the book quite easy to assemble.
    I then decided to re-edit 2 photos. I went back into the original folder to do so, and re-loaded the whole folder to iphoto.
    The 2 re-edited photos don't appear - I have tried to do allI can think of, but they still dont appear.
    When I deletd them from the folder in ibook, they also were deleted from the book - but I cant find any facility to add photos to the iphoto folder.
    Must have missed something & I hope my explanation isn't too confusing.
    These are 'informal' wedding photos I am doing as a wedding present for a friend's daughter so I need to finish ASAP.

    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Unable to add further Edits using Adjustment Brush in Lightroom 5.

    Using Lightroom 5 - when I go back to a previously edited image to do further editing, using the Adjustment Brush, I open the effect that I want to use ( Dodge, for example) but all the sliders are inoperative. The word 'Dodge (Edited)' appears in the Effects header. Therefore I can't make any further changes to the image. I have opened the drop down Effects menu and ticked 'Restore default presets' but to no avail. Any solutions welcome.

    Thank you for that trshaner. The density was set at 100 but flow only 86. I've shoved that up to 100 now and I think we may have a result!

  • Unable to add XML and Webservices Datasource in Crystal Reports

    Hi,
        when I am trying to add a Web service datasource upon clicking the XML and Webservices Datasource in Database Manager I get the following error.
    Invalid Arguments Provided.
    Details: Java server startup failure. Verify PATH (JDK), CLASSPATH, and IORFileLocation properties in the CRConfig.xml file. In addition, verify that you are using JDK 1.5.
    I am using Windows server 2003 OS. Java is version 1.6. I tried the below things but none of them worked.
    1.Edit the crconfig.xml file to add classpath and license information
    2.reverted to java 1.5
    3.uninstalled and installed the CR 2008 software. None of these worked. Please help.

    Thanks Don but my issue is not proxy related.
                        I am not using a proxy though I am using a VPN to be in the network of the Webservice hosting server. Also, my problem is that I am not able to even enlarge the XML and Webservices Data source to add any xml or web service file let alone the one I want to.

  • HELP! Cannot add or edit entities/attributes or anything for that matter and have granted the proper persmissions.

    I have granted the proper access and cannot seem to get permissions to work in order to add or modify anything in models.  Don't know what I'm missing.
    Cannot find the object "tbl_3_19_EN" because it does not
    exist or you do not have permissions.
    Another permission error after trying to add an entity to an existing model.The specified schema name "mdm" either does not exist or you
    do not have permission to use it.
    Wierd thing is when I set it up, I was able to created the model???

    In this case, I think you need some CSS support to work with your particular database. So you either give them the remote access or backup of the database.
    If you have the Premier contact with Microsoft, contact the assigned Microsoft Account Manager to create a ticket to get CSS support.
