Unable to 'Add Server' in Sun's DeployTool Utility (deploying application)
Hi Everyone,
I tried to search for this but couldn't find an instance.
I am using 'Sun Java System Application Server Platform Edition 8'. The server is running fine (at 8080) with the admin console (at 4848) responding perfectly while contacted with a browser.
The problem started when I tried to deploy a J2EE web application (.ear file) containing some EJB components. I finished with all the development steps perfectly (creating .ear file, coding EJB and related interfaces, packaging the beans with their references registered etc.). However when trying to deploy the application in the EJB container (at localhost:4848), I need to Add Server in the deploytool.
When I select File-AddServer, it allows me to add hostName and port#. But when try to click on the name, it asks me for connection string (UserName, Password). I used the same values as I am using with the browser interface, but it is not accepting. Giving the error, `Check if the server is running or Are you using the correct username and password.`.
I tried many times, but it seems the deploytool is not picking the server at all.
Any help...

Unable to add server error code 5102
I'm trying to add a computer to our Windows Server 2008 R2 Active Directory, and when i try to join the domain, I get the following error after the "Joining Active Directory..." step" "Unable to add server. Credential operation failedbecause an invalid parameter was provided. (5102)."
I'm not really sure what invalid parameter i'm providing
Server: domain.local
Client Computer ID: macbook-02
AD Admin User: administrator
AD Admin Password: Some$pass2010
This isn't the actual info verbatim for obvious reason, but i kept it pretty close including the $ in the password. Anyone have any idea why it would be giving me this error?so i posted this in experts exchange and got a reply that helped out so i thought I'd share in case anyone here looks this up. You cannot use any non-alphanumeric characters in the password to authenticate to AD on mac. What i suggest to any network admins that do not want to change their admin password is to create an account with domain admin rights (you may be able to get away with print operator privileges, but I didn't test that). and create a password without any non-alphanumeric characters. Apple should really fix this, or at least make the error description give an example to why there is a problem.

Deployment Application To Weblogic Server Failed
Hello every body
I need your help in this problem please :
I'm using Oracle JDeveloper 11.1 in my local machine, I Installed Weblogic Server 10.3 on the server and it's works well, I made new JDBC connection in Weblogic Server and it's works well too.
I made new ADF Fusion web Application and I used the same connection that I used in Weblogic server and it's works well.
I made new Application Server Connection from my local machine and It's works well with my user account.
In my project I made new WAR deployment, Also I configured my Application properties to Bind Application to the Weblogic server Instance.
1-when I try to deploy my project to Weblogic server I get this error message :
Deploying Application...
[Deployer:149034]An exception occurred for task [Deployer:149026]deploy application test_webapp on AdminServer.: Failed to load webapp: 'test_webapp.war'.

#### Deployment incomplete. #### Feb 15, 2009 12:18:01 PM
Deployment Failed
2-Another application was deployed before to Weblogic server, it seems running well, whereas Weblogic Server marks my deployment health as OK, but when I try to run it for test using this URL : http://serverIP:Port/Deployment Name, I get this Error : Error 403--Forbidden
What Should I do for both cases ?
Thanks a lot ...Thanks Timo
But first I don't use any library at my project , this is last log in Weblogic Server logfile :
####<Feb 16, 2009 1:56:58 PM EET> <Warning> <DeploymentService> <D2KR2> <AdminServer> <[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '0' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <Osama> <> <> <1234785418343> <BEA-290008> <Deployment service servlet encountered while extracting uploaded file to directory ".\servers\AdminServer\upload\test_webapp". Where D2KR2 is my Server Name
Osama is my user in Weblogic Server
test_webapp is the Application name
My problem didn't solved yet, and I'm new at JDeveloper ADF.
Where I can find clear information about deploying projects to Weblogic server.

Unable to add/remove users in Mountain Lion Server (Options are greyed out)
For some reason, im unable to add/remove users in Mountain Lion server. The + and - are greyed out. It seems like something is wrong with the permissons because it looks like it cant write the the Ldav3 file (although that may be speculation). Does anyone have any advice for me? I URGENTLY need to add users.
Maybe theres a way to restore default permssions for the boot drive (if that in fact is the issue). Hopefully there is a way that I can fix this while leaving all users, groups, their permissions and shares intact.Anything interesting and relevent in the server logs?
Anything interesting in the server alerts?
Since it's far and away the most common cause of problems with OS X Server and with distributed authentication (Open Directory is entirely based on network encryption and digital certificates and on responses from your local DNS server(s)), verify your local DNS configuration is working and requires no changes with the following Terminal.app (Applications > Utilities) harmless, diagnostic command:
sudo changeip -checkhostname
sudo requires an administrative password. You might get a one-time warning about the sudo, and that can safely be ignored. The command will display some details, and indicate whether the local configuration appears valid and no changes are required, or further diagnostics for (most) common errors that can arise. -
Calendar Server - Unable to add users
When I try to add users to a node I get an error message like:
Working please wait...
unidsattach failed, see /users/unison/log/unidsattach.log, Error Code =
0x13205
Add user [uid=ttesting,o=Airius.com] to node: failed
Add user(s) to node completed.
<P>
This means that the Calendar Server is unable to communicate
properly with the Directory Server. There are some Calendar-specific
entries and an ACI that are added to the Directory Server when a node is
created. These are critical to the proper functioning of the Calendar
Server. This error may mean that they are missing.
<P>
You can also check the access log file of the Directory server to see what
the problem may be. If you see entries like:
[27/Jan/1999:07:39:47 -0500] conn=1 op=2 SRCH base="o=Airius.com" scope=2 filter="(nsc
alxitemid=15000:00001)"
[27/Jan/1999:07:39:47 -0500] conn=1 op=2 RESULT err=0 tag=101 nentries=0
This indicates that 0 entries were returned for the search on the SYSOP
Calendar user.
<P>
If you have recently imported data into your Directory Server, it is likely
that these entries no longer exist. An import to a Directory Server does
not append data; it replaces the current directory with the data in the
LDIF file being loaded. You will need to recreate this Calendar information.
Export your directory to an LDIF file and review the output to see if these
entries exist.
<P>
Here is a boilerplate that may be useful if you don't have a backup copy
of the original LDIF. Try replacing the baseDN (o=Airius.com) and the node
id (15000) to match your Calendar configuration. The password is "password".
The following is for illustration purposes and may not fix all problems:
aci: (target ="ldap:///o=Airius.com")(targetattr = "*")(version 3.0
; acl "Untitled"; allow (write, add , delete ) groupdn = "ldap:///cn=Cal-A

Jim,
I do not see this problem in the latest source line.
Probably I'm running a WLS server that is slightly newer than the beta,
so maybe
some things might have been fixed.

Unable to add network printers from Windows Server 2012 R2 to client running Windows 7 Pro x64
New Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard in the environment. Added print services to it and added five HP printers to it and shared them. Also deployed the printers via group policy.
Clients are running Windows 7 Pro x64. The group policy fails to install the printers (error 0x00000002). We get the same error when trying to manually add the printer from the client side.
From Event Viewer: Group Policy was unable to add per computer connection <<printer share>>. Error code 0x2. This can occur if the name of the printer connection is incorrect, or if the print spooler cannot contact the print server.
Any ideas on troubleshooting this?
Thanks.
-JohnJohn,
You might try playing with the HP universal driver, that might help you. Try installing a new shared printer on the server using the universal print driver, then try and connect to it to see if it is any better.
Check these GPO settings to ensure local machines can install the drivers.
1. Configure the following two Group Policy settings:
Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\System\Driver Installation\Allow non-administrators to install drivers for these devices setup classesEnabled
2. Device class GUID of printers: {4d36e979-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}
Computer Configuration/Policies/Administrative Templates/Printers/Point and Print RestrictionsEnabled
Security Prompts: When Installing Drivers for a new connection = Do not show warning or elevation prompt

* PPPoE/NAT and internal DHCP on the ASA were configured with the Startup Wizard in ASDM
NATting is working fine - internal PCs get an IP address in the 192.168.2.0/24 range and can all access the Internet.
I wanted to be able to connect from anywhere to the ASA in order to reach one of the internal servers. Should be pretty basic.
First I tried with the built-in ASDM IPSec Wizard, instructions found here.
VPN clients can connect to the ASA, are connected (until they're manually disconnected), but cannot reach the internal network nor the Internet. Note VPN client can connect fine to a different VPN site (not administered by myself).
Client logs show following error messages:

I've already tried the suggestions from this link, although the problem is different there (as the user can still access the internet, even without split tunneling, which I cannot).
A show run shows the following output (note in the below I have tried a different VPN network: 192.168.3.0/24 instead of 172.16.1.0/24 seen in the Client log)
Result of the command: "sh run"

Unfortunately I'm getting the same "AddRoute failed to add a route with metric of 0: code 160" error message.
I'm very confused as this should be a pretty standard setup. I tried to follow the instructions on the Cisco site to the letter...
The only "differences" in my setup are an internal network of 192.168.2.0 (with ASA IP address 192.168.2.254) and PPPoE with DHCP instead of no PPPoE at all.
Does anyone know what's going on?Yes, I have tried from a different laptop - same results. Using that laptop I can connect to a different IPSec site without issues.
Please find my renewed config below:

Unable to add account to Outlook 2010 for email address under custom domain
I am unable to add a new account in Outlook 2010 for an email account set up under a custom domain.
Can anyone explain why login credentials that work for outlook.com (successful access to email inbox) return an authentication failure (401 error) when used to test connectivity via https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com?
Details:
I set up a custom domain at https://domains.live.com and did the following DNS configuration steps at my web hosting company following instructions from domains.live.com:
Created custom MX record
Created CNAME record [name:] autodiscover.jrergonomics.com [value:] autodiscover.outlook.com.
I created email addresses at domains.live.com > jrergonomics.com > Member accounts and tested by successfully logging in to outlook.com.
When I try to add either account to Outlook 2010, I get a popup box with this information:
Title: "Windows Security"
Connecting to [email protected]
[[email protected]]
[ ] Remember my credentials
[ OK ] [ Cancel
The credentials that I use successfully to log in to outlook.com don't work here; I get the popup box 3-4 times and then the Outlook 2010 Add New Account dialog displays an error:
"An encrypted connection to your mail server is not available. Click Next to attempt using an unencrypted connection."
Clicking Next results in an error message:
"Problem Connecting to Server"
I have tried verifying the connectivity using https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com:

TechNet Community Support -
I am using 6.5 sp6 The server seams to run fine until I try to image a pc
or multiple pcs through zen, the CPU goes to 100 percent and then after
about about an hour I get a message
unable to exec server (insufficient memory?)
Cannot load the file C:command.com
insert correct disk and strike and key.
The only way to bring it back to life is a control,alt, del and reboot the
server. I did not have this issue prior to installing sp6, I was on sp5
and recently upgraded it to sp6. Thanks Scott
Here is the abbend log I get.

WS-Security and proxy service: Unable to add security token for identity
What the reason of "Unable to add security token for identity" fault in this situation (10.3.1):
I did simple "hello word" proxy service and tried to apply custom policy binding.
WS-Policy is next:
<wsp:Policy wsu:Id="WS-Policy-Siebel"
xmlns:sp="http://docs.oasis-open.org/ws-sx/ws-securitypolicy/200702"
xmlns:wsp="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/09/policy"
xmlns:wsu="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-utility-1.0.xsd">
<wssp:Identity
xmlns:wssp="http://www.bea.com/wls90/security/policy">

<wssp:UsePassword
Type="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-username-token-profile-1.0#PasswordText" />
</wssp:SecurityToken>
</wssp:SupportedTokens>
</wssp:Identity>
</wsp:Policy>
Process WS-Security is setted to "yes".
While debugging I see that all works fine - I can authenticate with defined credentials and breakpoints in proxy service flow works fine.
But at the end I get the fault:

Edited by: Andrey L. on Jun 9, 2010 5:55 PMI thought you were getting that exception when accessing the proxy.
No. Authentification works fine. Proxy body works fine. But at the end of proxy appears the exception.
Sorry for my english - I tried to show this situation on image: http://imglink.ru/show-image.php?id=9c0e0c1719f00289faf11696c6703bc3
Are you getting this exception when routing to a business service which is configured for WS-Security ??
I don't use business service in this test project - only simple proxy service with all logic inside.
PS transformation in replace action is very simple too:
(:: pragma bea:global-element-parameter parameter="$newOperation1" element="ns0:NewOperation" location="WSSecurityService.wsdl" ::)
(:: pragma bea:global-element-return element="ns0:NewOperationResponse" location="WSSecurityService.wsdl" ::)
declare namespace ns0 = "http://www.troika.ru/Enterprise/WSSecurityService/";
declare namespace xf = "http://tempuri.org/OSB%20Project%20WS-Security/Hello/";
declare function xf:Hello($newOperation1 as element(ns0:NewOperation))
as element(ns0:NewOperationResponse) {
<ns0:NewOperationResponse>
<out>Hello, { data($newOperation1/in) }!</out>
</ns0:NewOperationResponse>
declare variable $newOperation1 as element(ns0:NewOperation) external;
xf:Hello($newOperation1)

Hey , Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that you're getting the error 'Unable to add print driver hpfax1, error code 87' when installing your HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf Multifunction Printer on your Windows 7 computer. I would like to assist you today with resolving this install issue. Thank you for including all of the troubleshooting steps that you have completed prior to reaching out for support. At this time I am going to walk you through some additional software and driver troubleshooting steps. Please follow all of the steps below. If you're using your HP Laserjet through a USB Cable connection, please disconnect that cable now. Step one: Remove Driver: 1. Click on your Start menu 2. Select Control Panel 3. Select Programs and Features 4. When Programs and Features opens a list of programs installed on your computer will populate. Click on the 'Installed ON' tab at the top to change the date so the recently installed items show at the top. This will make it easier to manually locate the three HP Laserjet items you need to uninstall. 5. Next, look for the HP LJ M1530 MFP Series HP Scan, HPLaserJetHelp_LearnCenter, and HP LaserJet Professional M1530 MFP Series. If you see any 3 of these, or all 3 of these items, please click on them and select Uninstall. Step 2: Clear Temp Files: Click on your Start menuIn the 'search programs and files' box located right above Start after you click on it, type %temp% and hit enter on your keyboardWhen the Temp folder opens, select Ctrl + A at the same time on your keyboard. Everything in this folder will now highlight.Select the 'delete' button on your keyboard. The Temp folder contains temporary internet files. No actual files or folders on your computer will be affected by deleting the Temp files. Once the download is complete, click on the download to allow it to 'Run'An extraction should now automatically occur. Once the extraction is complete an installer window will open. Please close the installation window. You do not want to run the installation at this time. Step 4: Run Scrubber: To ensure that no trace of the HP Software and Driver package remain on your computer, I am going to have you run a Scrubber built into the installer package for your printer. Click on your Start menuIn the 'search programs and files' box located right above Start after you click on it, type %temp% and hit enter on your keyboardWhen the Temp folder opens locate the 7z folder. Click on this folder to open it. This is the HP Laserjet Installer Click on the Utilities folder under the 7z folderDouble left click on Scrubber. Static NAT causes unable to access server via internal IP
Hi all,
Need some help. I running site-to-site IPsec VPN in Cisco 2811 IOS 12.4 both site. Here I encounter a problem to access server on Site A from Site B
Site A having Leased Line connected to router with Public IP. I have done static mapping 1 web server to Public IP (NAT). This to allow external users to access the server via Public IP. At the same time, users at Site B would need to access to same server via Internal IP since they have Site-to-Site VPN established. But once I done Static Mapping (NAT), user at Site B unable to access the server at Site A using its internal IP. But external user can access server via Public IP. What went wrong here. Do i need to add extra command to get this done? We really need this.Hi sheik,
I'm accessing the server form Site B using its server's LAN IP.
If I remove the static NAT statement from my router at Site A, everything works well. I can access the server from site B using its LAN IP via Site-to-Site VPN. But in this case, external users unable to access server via Public IP since no Static NAT statement.
