Unable to assign My Music as Custom Ringtone after upgrade 5.1.1

I can play the music from micro sd. If I copy the song to the internal memory I can associate it to the contact.

After upgrading to 5.1.1 I am unable to assign my mp3s as custom music to contacts. I can assign default ring tones but even if my mp3 seems correctly associated to a contact, when I receive a call the default ringtone plays. Does anyone have this problem? Regards

I've run through all the steps of patching EPMA ran the Oracle_Upgrade 9.5.0.0.0.10 to 9.5.0.0.9.1.sql script per the patch readme. But can't figure out where it's pulling the schema version number from. Any ideas?

you forgot to update the EPMA database. Last step in patching is:
Now, you must run the database upgrade script before starting the process manager.
Run the single database upgrade script that corresponds to your database vendor.
Oracle_Upgrade 9.5.0.0.0.10 to 9.5.0.0.9.1.sql
SQL_Server_Upgrade 9.5.0.0.0.10 to 9.5.0.0.9.1.sql
DB2_Upgrade 9.5.0.0.0.10 to 9.5.0.0.9.1.sql
The scripts are located in the following directory:
%HYPERION_HOME%\OPatch\EPMA_11_1_1_3_01\files\products\Foundation\BPMA\Server\conf\

Exchange Synced Contacts Lose Custom Ringtones After 24 Hours

Currently running iPhone 3GS with 3.1 against a Windows Exchange 2003 Server utilizing Active Sync. Once I assign custom ringtones to my contacts (that are synced from Exchange) after about 24 hours all ringtones are reverted back to Default.
Anyone else having this issue or is there a solution?

Actually, I thought a system update does do a backup and restore. I thought it wiped out the data, applied the system OS, then restored the data. Otherwise how would all of the settings, applications, and other data be in the same status as before the update? In any case, I wouldn't have thought that all contact data would need to be re-applied afterwards. But actually my main problem, aside from this, is that my contacts are consistently losing their custom ringtones. I use push services for my contacts, and I can understand why re-population of my contact data loses them since a ringtone isn't a maintained data field in Exchange, but this situation only makes it worse if I'll lose ringtones after every system update.

Losing Custom Ringtones after MobileMe Sync

Last evening I finally had time to complete the iPhone 3G - MobileMe setup.
The Sync went fine, and no errors, however I discovered all my custom ringtones were back to default.
I didn't see any options or setting that would have contributed to this behavior. Does MobileMe not support syncing the custom ringtones ?

As a form of an update: This behavior seems to occur when you make a modification to a CONTACT in the address book on a Mobile-me enabled laptop / computer and then the entry passed through the Mobile-Me cloud and when it updates in the iPhone during the mobile-me synch the RINGTONE entry is cleared to the default value.

Unable to access application set in admin console after upgrade to 7.0 M

I am unable to access the Application Set through BPC Administration after upgrading our development server to version 7.0 SP3. I followed the instructions as per the Upgrade guide, and there was no issues during the installation. But when trying to access the application set i receive the following error message on step 9 ( 9/10) of during the connection.
Error message: Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not
permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , >, >= or when the
subquery is used as an expression.
I have done all of the steps outlined as per SAP Note 1242962, but i still receive the error message. I tried to do a SQL Profiler trace, but i have been unable to find the query which returns more than one record.
Any help is appreciated

Interesting that you ask about upgrade vs uninstall/reinstall.
We were running BPC 5.1
We have also re-installed the Admin client to be the new version.
We have been working with an outside consulting firm to manage our system upgrade/install.
Our dev and qa environments were uninstalled then reinstalled.
When we went to production, our system was intially upgraded. I do not know why this route was chosen when that was not what was completed on dev/qa. On our production 'upgrade', we are still working through issues. We then uninstalled iis, sqlserver reporting services, both .net 1.1 and 2.0, and the BPC application. Then reinstall everything and we were getting the same errors.
Our error was at Progress 10/10 Create Database Schema and check Application server collation.
Error Message: Object Reference not set to an instance of an object.
We are able to access the appShell and test copies of the appShell, we were not able to access any custom appSets which were created prior to the upgrade, nor are we able to access any appSets that were created as a copy of the custom appSet after the upgrade.
When logged with SAP, we were directed toward note Note 1331040 - Cannot log into 7M Admin console after restore from version5 noting that we needed to do the following changes:

The reason is because '7.0.113' means 7 MS SP04 while '7.0.112' means SP03.
There are 8 steps in this note, for us, only the first 2 were needed. I have asked SAP to create new note/update existing accordingly.
With the table entry, we were able to successfully access our app set.

Unable to connect to the MS Exchange server after upgrading to ios 7.1.2

I received a new iPad 4 through work. Upgraded to ios 7.1.2, but now I'm not able to connect to the Exchange server. Contacted IT through work, they have no idea how to correct it. They say all of my settings are fine. The error message says "Cannot Get Mail   The connection to the server failed." Any thoughts?

Appears to be a wifi connection problem. Did it work prior to the iOS update?
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Since it's a company wifi, you won't be able to do many of these.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. Strange issue in updating custom table after upgrade ECC6.0! Please help!

Hello everyone:
    I have some code (shown below) that deletes and updates some SAP tables and one custom table:
    DELETE T5UBV   FROM TABLE DEL_T5UBV.
DELETE ZCHRZIP FROM TABLE DEL_ZCHRZIP.
MODIFY ZCHRZIP FROM TABLE WRITE_ZCHRZIP.
MODIFY T5UBV   FROM TABLE WRITE_T5UBV.
COMMIT WORK.
For SAP table the code above works fine but for custom table it overrides all exisiting data! It should keep some existing data in custom table ZCHRZIP and append any extra data from internal table WRITE_ZCHRZIP. This functions as designed if I run in fore ground but in background it just overrides instead of modifying and appending! This is happening only after upgrade ECC6.0. Any thoughts? Please let me know.

Unable to open iTunes music folder on NAS after 10.5.6 update

I just updated my system to 10.5.6 and am now unable to open my iTunes music folder on my Sans Digital MN2L NAS. I can connect to the device and open every other folder but not the music folder. When I try to open the folder the finder window shows the spinning whatever in the bottom right corner for about 10 seconds and then restarts. This occurs when I connect using Bonjour and SMB. I can open the folder in question through my windows laptop without problem. There are approximately 1200 subfolders contained within the Music folder. My iMac and NAS are both connected through the same gigabit switch via CAT 5e.

I just found a post on another board that appears to have solved my problem. The issue wasn't really with the NAS but rather with a file that the finder left in the Music folder in the NAS.

TS4062 Music did not sync after upgrading to IOS6

After updating to the new operating system, all my music was gone and I do not know how to sync from my Mac to my phone. I already tried connecting the phone to the Mac and syncing, but nothing changed.

I wish I had an answer for you, but the same thing happened to me. Everything else seems to sync just fine. Homemade ringtones that I made using Garage Band sync, but none of the ringtones I purchased from iTunes will sync. They're in iTunes, as you said, and they're checked. But they simply don't show up on the iPhone.

Incorrect music library file size after upgrading to itunes 7.1.1.5

I was running itunes 7.0.2 and I have a 40gb click wheel IPOD (3rd Generation?). In itunes 7.0.2 my music library stats showed 7046 songs stored on 34.6 gb of disk space. Once I upgraded to itunes 7.1.1.5 and restarted itunes, my music library stats now showed 7046 songs stored on 445 gb of disk space and I can no longer sync my 40 gb Ipod to itunes because itunes says I don't have enough space available on my ipod.
What caused this change in reporting disk usage for my music library - which by the way is not correct, it is really 34.6 gb of space (which I confirm when I look at disk manager and evaluate the drive with the music file on it.
How do I get itunes to report my disk space correctly so I can start syncing my ipod again. I already reset and restarted my ipod, rebooted my laptop multiple times and even did a restore on my ipod (which of course wiped out all my music on the ipod).

I've had this problem too and since solved it. I now have Vista and iTunes working perfectly with my 20Gb iPod colour. I'm not sure whether the lack of comments means everyone is flummoxed or if We're the only people in the world who's had this problem!
Well in the name of sharing here is what I did:
1) Backed up my entire iTunes folder (inc album art work and all sub folders and iTunes ref files) to and external HD
2) Deleted everything other than the album artwork folder and the iTunes music folder
3) Uninstalled iTunes 7.2
4) Cleaned the registry
5) Restarted
6) Downloaded and installed iTunes v7.3.0.54
7) Opened new the install of iTunes
8) Clicked File> Add folder to Library> iTunes Music
9) Bingo my library is being sensible and reading the correct size AND my iPod syncs perfectly!
Not sure if the actual cure was the fact I cleaned out all the reference files and performed a reinstall or if it was actually a bug which apple fixed in version 7.3.0.54? Either way!
That's it. Simple. I hope this helps...
