Unable to authorize your transaction, but money deducted from account

Hello, While placing an order for Thinkpad T450s, I received an error message - "Unable to authorize your transaction. Please select another payment method to complete your order.". However, the order amount ($1431) was debited from my account. I have not received a mail pertaining to failure/confirmation from Lenovo after the error message. Please advise the steps to be taken from this point. Best Regards,Ankit Gupta

    I am working on istore implementation process in R12.
    I had created the new business contact user, and login into the istore using the created contact user login.
    I got following error while selecting the item to adding the shopping cart.
    Error message is:
    Unable to process your transaction. The operating unit is either invalid or it cannot be derived. Please verify your Multi-Org profile options.API_MISSING_ID (COLUMN=ACCT_ROLE). Unable to create a valid contact for the given party id (party_id = 8333)
    Also this erroris not the consistent, I got this error while newly created user entered into the istore. After some trying it will work for the same user . But already created old users working fine.
    Also i executed the invalid object query, i found some of the ASO objects are invalid.
    ASO_BI_QOT_APR_MV - MATERIALIZED VIEW- invalid
    ASO_BI_QOT_CUST_MV - MATERIALIZED VIEW- invalid
    ASO_BI_QOT_RUL_MV - MATERIALIZED VIEW- invalid
    ASO_BI_QOT_SG_MV - MATERIALIZED VIEW- invalid
    ASO_BI_RSG_PRNT_MV- - MATERIALIZED VIEW- invalid
    Please help on this issue.

    Apple's policy on sales of digital content is that all sales are final. If however you wish to appeal to Apple, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History.

    You could use a different country (e.g. leave it on US) or try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours)

  • Transaction failed on 16 Feb 2015 but Money debited from International travel currency card

    Hello Lenovo,
    during her short trip to US, my Wife tried to order Lenovo laptop ' Lenovo Flex2 -14 inch - Black' from Lenovo official site on 16 feb 2015 from Houston, Texas area but got declined transaction with no transation number generated citing reason as "Unuthorized transaction".
    The amount 535.18 USD was deducted from the Travel currency card (VISA verified) immediately.
    After contacting Lenovo, they cited the reason in mail that they do not accept international credit card and thus order can not be processed .
    Now when we contacted the Bank (indian branch who issued the travel currency card), they asked us to send the mail communication regarding failure of transaction to be communicated to them to revert the transacted money.
    But recently they informed that they can not reverse the money until we present a official communication from Lenovo with clear mention of  failed tranaction with :
    Credit Card details
    Transaction amount
    Can you please direct me to the right set of department who can help us with the above mentioned issue and details required?
    We have been chasing the issue for last 1 and half month but  there is no satisfactory response from any party yet.
    Also sent mail to 'Lenovo customer care' but no repsonse yet even after sending periodic reminders.
    Please help.

    You are assuming that there was actually a charge made and you are giving advice that may honestly just not be helpful to the user.
    First, we do not intent customers to make purchases cross country - buy on US site and ship elsewhere.   We clearly say that it must be a US issued credit card.  The only international cards accepted are American Express, and if shipping to a Non-US address the order might still be canceled.  (most likely would be).
    Lenovo DOES NOT charge a credit card until we ship.   However, there is a Charge Hold placed on the card as part of the order process to ensure there is adequate credit available for authorization.  Charge holds typically drop off in several days.  If you check your balance, the charge hold can appear as a charge because it decriments the available balance.
    Lenovo did not take funds from the customer, so advising customers to issue disputes through their CC card company is just not a helpful / constructive course of action.
    In a perfect world, the process would determine when the pending order qualifies all other criteria before proceeding to the charge hold stage.  If the process could be changed in that manner, orders could be rejected without triggering the charge hold and leading the customer to being believed that their order was canceled.

    but unfortunately apple deduct from my account of VISA the price of Ipad two times

  • Double subscription but minutes deduct from the ne...

    I have a 120 minutes subscription to China which expires on 1 Nov. I have cancelled it because I subscribed to Premium (can call 50+ countries) 2 wks ago. But it says I can still use it until it expires. However, now when I make call to China, the minutes deduct from the Premium subscription while there is still 120 unused minutes in my China subscription. 
    I dont know if I can call anybody. so hope someone with same experience could help me with this issue. Thanks!

  • Money disappeared from account

    I have iTunes(version 4&7) on two computers. When I went to purchase a song on the version 4 iTunes, it wouldn't let me purchase it because I had to upgrade to a newer version of iTunes. After I presses cancelled, and opened iTunes again the money from my account dropped from $15.75 to $4.84, the same amount as on my other computer. I have had iTunes on both of these computers for a long time, and never have the money in the two accounts matched before. Plus the money in the accounts were from two different gift cards. How can I get the money back or who should I contact? Thank You

    First, make sure you're logged into the iTunes Store using the account ID and password you set up, or used, when you redeemed your card/gift. It sort of sounds like you have two different accounts in the iTunes Store, but now have both computers logged into the same account. If you are sure you're using the correct account, try logging out of the account and back in.
    If logging out and back in doesn't help, go to the Purchase History and review your purchases to make sure that you should indeed have a balance left. iTunes doesn't always refresh the balance it shows, so it's possible you spent the money and it just wasn't being reflected in the display. This display error can usually be corrected by logging out of the iTunes Store and then back in.
    If you confirm that you should have balance left but the iTunes Store isn't showing it correctly, send a message to the iTunes Store customer service department through the form at the bottom of their Gift Card FAQ web page and explain the problem to them.

    Ok Here is it ... Like many others as I have seen on the forum, I have used an Indian Credit Card to purchase a laptop. The card authentication has failed, but I see amount debited from the card. Please can anyone advice how do I cancel the transaction. I have tried mailing Lenovo customer care, and calling them no response. My $1400 are at stake !!! 
    I want to get the transaction cancelled as soon as possible !

    Please stop this unnecessary deducting of money from my account ive taken subcribtion only for one month, even after stopping subcribtion why again deducting money

    Possible, yes. But not typically advised around here, as the iPod's hard drive is not a reliable long term storage/archival device. Best to back up your songs onto either an external hard drive or CD/DVD media first before deleting from iTunes.
    Setting the iPod to manually manage music and playlists, though, will achieve what you're looking to do.
