Unable to auto forward mail with encryption

Hi,
I'm currently testing mail exchange with encryption. I have setup two accounts with a comodo class 1 free email certificate. In Outlook 2013, the checkbox for "encrypt contents and attachments for outgoing messages" is ticked and I am able
to send encrypted mails from outlook 2013 between these 2 accounts fine. Now, I have setup a rule on one account to auto forward mails to the other account based on subject and sender. Outlook is open and active the entire time during my test,
but the mails get send UNENCRYPTED. Whenever I trigger the rule by "run rules now", the mails will be send with Encryption.
Anyone know why this is happening and whether there is a way of getting this to work?

Maybe you can try below approach and see if it works. Create below registry key in Registry Editor, Outlook will automatically encrypt a message that you are forwarding which was originally encrypted:
Path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Security
DWORD Value: NoCheckOnSessionSecurity
Value data: 1

Auto forwarding Mail

When an email is received from a specific, Windoze using, organisation I use Rules to auto-foward it to a number of other recipients.
However, the message changes formats during this process and what was originally a viewable message becomes an .html attachment:

I’d try reducing as much as possible the alterations that Mail makes to the original message when forwarding it.
One thing to try would be turning OFF Preferences > Composing > Increase quote level.
Another would be using Redirect instead of Forward. Beware, however, that doing that may cause the rule to stop working for no apparent reason. Take a look at the following thread for a recent discussion of this issue:

Forward mail with attachment (not WorkItem) from SBWP to Outlook

we want to forward mails (not WorkItems) form SBWP to Outlook.
The forwarding works fine for the mail but if the mail includes an attachment from type object (e.g. send object with note in MM03) we are not able to open the object in the mail. We want to open the object so that automatically SAP GUI is started and the corresponding object is shown in SAP.
In SBWP we are able to open the attachment in Outlook not. Are there any settings in SAP where we can define that.
Have we to define something parameters of the Integrated ITS?
We want the same behaviour for mails with attachments as for WorkItems if they are forwarded to Outlook.
We get an HTML mail in Outlook like

But there is no link to follow in the mail and nothing happens.

Check if your SMTP node in transaction SCOT is configured to send attachments of all types.

Encoding problem when forwarding mails with attachments using exchange account

Hi,
I'm facing a special misbehaviour of mail. Scenario: With Apple Mail 7.2 I would like to forward an exchange mail with attachments. The mail is wirtten in german and uses german special characters like äüöÄÖÜ. During editing the mail everything is ok which means all characters are shown in thte correct way. When I send the mail, something magic must happen in the background.
When I look in the sent mail folder and open the mail, all special characters are show as "?". Must be an encoding problem, I gues but I don't know how to fix it.
When I send exactly the same mail with another Apple mail account (non exchange), there is no problem. So I assume it has something to do with handling exchange accounts under Apple mail.
Any idea to solve this issue? Thanks in advance.

This is a know issue with Yahoo! Email on the iPhone. When sending email, sometimes it will say it has been sent, while it really has not (and it will not show up in the sent folder).
It has been discussed quite a bit in the forums, so a search will turn up a lot of discussion, but no solid solution. Some say Yahoo is working on a fix, other that Apple is.
The most common solution (which is usually temporary), is to either reboot your phone, and/or delete and reinstall your Yahoo! Mail account on your phone.

Forwarding Mail With "motion"

How can I forward mail which has motion in the body of the letter and retain the motion. All my efforts to do so just forwards the mail and all previous motion remains "static" or frozen.

If your OS detail provided is accurate - 10.3.9, you posted in the Mail & Address Book - Tiger forum which is for Tiger Mail and Address Book only.
Jaguar and Panther Mail render HTML received but do not support composing in HTML which includes when forwarding a message received that was composed in HTML which is required for such motion.
RTF with Tiger Mail is really HTML so you need to upgrade to Tiger or wait for Leopard's release.

Unable to read e-mails with pps, wmv suffixes

I can never open or read e-mails with the pps or wmv suffixes.
I've down loaded the suggested software but it never helps.
Any ideas on how to get around this problem?

Those are Microsoft extentions. .pps is Powerpoint Slide presentation - .wmv are Window media files.

That's the problem with getting yourself popular on the internet - its not so easy to disappear!
I would have thought it would be better to publish the new files with the same folder name as the old one....

That way the new files would simply overwrite the old on your iDisk and you won't have to start from square one with SEO. Also your original site name and home page name are a lot better for SEO than the generic "Site" and "Home". If you want to be found by search engines, avoid these page names such as "About", "Contact" etc, like the plague.

Cannot forward mail with photos to pc user

Images do not show up in PC users mail.
some pics show up as mime'
and
jpg photos just show up as filename.jpg -- user cannot view

The key factor here is "Forward" -- the exact nature of message, and status of any images it contains must be known to advise you about this. If sent to you from an email client embedding the images in HTML, then that can be problematic.
If the images are properly attached files in the message you receive, but that message is in Rich Text, then Mail may convert it to HTML and mess things up for certain recipient email clients. In this case, after composing the Forward, click on Format in the menubar, and choose Make Plain Text -- that should help, and this is not dealt with by Windows Friendly.

Unable to read web mail with talktalk but can with internet explorer

I updated to fire fox 4 and since I am unable to read my web mail from my talk talk account. When I try to get into my inbox it tells me I have undefined new mail. I can access my email with internet explorer but not firefox.

Auto-delete mails with ZIP attachments?

Unfortunately, I have to do business with Windows users whose machines seem to be infested with viruses that harvest email addresses. As a result, I am engulfed daily with mail that contains Windows virus attachments (ZIP files) and spam with GIF attachments. And I'm tired of it. Reporting the senders to their ISPs is an exercise in futility.
Since the only legitimate attachments I receive from clients are always, and without exception, Stuffit SIT or SITX files, is there any way to set up a rule in Mail that will delete emails with ZIP or GIF attachments but allow those with SIT/SITX files through?
There doesn't seem to be a way to add "Attachment" to the list of headers in Rules. In view of the fact that the most common vector for viruses is via email attachments, this seems to be a major oversight on Apple's part.
Any hints on dealing with this?

In 10.3.x, there indeed is no way to filter based on attachment names (this is a new feature present in 10.4.x). However, you should be able to mark all those messages as spam and filter them to your junk mailbox using Junk Matcher:

When I forward mail with attachments, all signatures turn into attachments

When I forward an email that contains a signature from the sender, and I add an attachment, the entire signature turns into an attachment when the recipient is using Outlook .
Is there a way around this?
I have tried Plain and Rich text settings, as well as all of the attachment settings.
Attachment Tamer isn't working since I upgraded to Yosemite.

Samsung Gear S - Unable to auto forward calls

One of the coolest features of the Samsung Gear S watch is the ability to forward all calls from your phone to your watch remotely from your watch.
Unfortunately, the software dials *92 then your Gear S number.
This call fails because *92 is not the proper number to forward calls.
It should be *72.
According to Verizon and Samsung support, there is not a way to change the *92 to *72.
There is also no known software update to fix this error.
This takes a MAJOR function of the watch away and with no "promise" to correct.
Sadly, the omission of this feature = return it to Verizon.
Any Gear S watch owners found a way to fix this issue?

Unfortunately, the watch is hard coded to dial *92 and when it dials *92 (plus 10 digit number), it errors out giving a "call can not be completed as dialed". This occurs even if I enter *92 + number into my S5 also. Oddly enough the Verizon customer service person located in CA was able to use the *92.
So it appears to be a unprogrammed "short code" *92 that is not programmed in my area's switch. (Missouri)
Two options are:
1. Submit to Samsung to change the forward number from *92 to *72
2. Verizon program my area's switch to allow *92
The engineer assigned to my case called and he is attempting to add the *92 short code since it is not possible to change on the Samsung Gear S OR Samsung Galaxy S5.
I am unsure if there are other areas that are affected but no one will be able to get the forwarding functionality to work in my area at least.

HT1386 All of a sudden when I forward a mail with an attachment the attachment does not appear in the message can you tell me why and how to correct it.

When you tap on the arrow in the upper right corner and select - Forward - doesn't another window popup that says Include/Don't Include? That is in reference to the attachment. Select Include from that window.

Auto forwarding option for a substitute

Hi ,
Can somebody help me the workflow automatic forwarding option works with substitutes.
USER A is a substitute for for USER B and both users are setup for automatic forwarding
to external outlook e-mail address.
When a workitem sent to USER B , it showed up in USER A inbox.
But the external e-mail sent to only main user ( USER B ) , but not the substitution.
Anybody has a clue about auto forwarding works with substitute ?

Outlook/ Substitute setup is working fine ..
both main user and substitute are maintained with external e-mail address and autoforwarding option.
Only main user is receiving e-mail. Substitute is receiving the work item in his inbox..but not outlook mail..
If Is end a work item directly to substitute , he gets the outlook e-mail.
