Unable to backup to new iphone 5s as it still has IOS (7.0.4) on the new phone
I upgraded my phone from an iphone 4s to the new iphone 5s but it does not want to backup my data onto the new phone. Gives me the msg that some icloud backups are not compatible with the version of IOS (7.0.4) on this phone. What do i do?
When I get to the screen where I have to choose backup it list my iPhone 4s and saying IOS 7.1 Required underneath it, but it is greyed out so I cannot choose it and at the bottom of the screen it says that some iCloud backups are not compatible with the version of iOS (7.0.4) on this iPhone (that is the new iPhone 5s

I did an icloud backup on my old 4S with iOS 8.3 and wanted to install on my new iPhone 6 but it only has iOS 8.1.3! Can I do/use the backup after I chose "install as new iPhone"?

I Have just bought an iPhone 6 and want to restore my iPhone 4s via iCloud backup to the new iPhone 6. The setup of the iPhone 6 halted because according to the new phone it has iOS 8.1.2 whereas the backups were stored using iOS 8.2 following my updating of the iPhone 4S recently. How do I jump through this hoop? How do I update the new phone to iOS 8.2 without serring it up first? Anyone, please help?
Update the new phone to the same version that has been used to create the backup. In your case, the new device has to run 8.2 to be able to use the backup made with the other device.
Setting it back to factory settings will install the newest version and after that you can use the backup made under 8.2

Don't let her use your iCloud account on her iPhone.
On her iPhone, go to Settings > iCloud and select Delete Account at the bottom.
She can create her own email account if she has one, or you can create an iCloud account for her to be used on her iPhone for email account access, syncing contacts, calendar events, and notes.
You also need to sign out of the Apple ID for iMessage on her iPhone as well and she needs to activate iMessage on her iPhone with her own Apple ID. -

I tried to disable siri but the it did the same thing with voice control please make an option to disable all these things because i never use siri but there it is going off without being called upon please fix sooooon!!!!It sounds as if the button in the headphones is stuck and that is what is doing it. In the one wire of the headphones is a button to activate Siri. It is very possible something is wrong with that. Does the phone activate Siri all the time when the headphones are not plugged in? The headphones have the same warranty as the phone. Take the device with the headphones back to the Apple store and they can replace them.

I've successfully (as far as I can tell) deployed SCCM 2012 SP1 CU3 and all my existing clients are showing a client version of 5.00.7804.1400. But when I setup a new client system recently I noticed that the client version was showing 5.00.7804.1000,
and not 5.00.7804.1400.
For new client systems, do I need to redeploy the packages that were created for SCCM 2012 SP1 CU3 so that the new systems get the new SCCM 2012 SP1 CU3 client?

I just bought a new Iphone and when I connected it to itunes and I downloaded the backup from my last device, now I can't pass this step and every time I connect it to itunes is the same thing. And I can't download any app because problems with my account regarding the credit card but the information is correct and it says it is not!!!
You'll have to contact iTunes store support regarding your credit card information problem: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html. I'm not clear on what you're saying about your backup. Are you saying that when you connect to iTunes it's asking you to restore from backup even though you already have?

i am changing from an iphone 3G to an iphone 3GS and i was not offered an option to restore the new device from a backup of the old device - how do i reset the new device to allow me restore the data from the old one to the new one?
Go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings. This will return it to its new out of the box condition. Go through the setup screens again and you will be given the option to restore from a previous iTunes or iCloud backup (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2109).

What is the best way to get the notes content from iphone 4 to 4s without doing a restore? i want the new phone to be totally new but not sure how to get notes content across. If I do a restore as I have when previously from one iphone to another it has shown (in settings, usage) the cumulative usage from previous phones so all the hours of calls on all previous iphones will be displayed even though its brand new. Anyone know how I can get my notes (from standard iphone notes app) to my new iphone 4s without restoring from previous iphone 4. Thanks for any help offered.
First, if you haven't updated to iTunes 10.5, please update now as you will need it for the iPhone 4S and iOS 5.
Once you're done installing iTunes 10.5, open it. Connect your iPhone to iTunes using the USB cable. Once your iPhone pops up right click on it. For example: an iPhone will appear and it will say "Ryan's iPhone."
Right click on it and select "Backup" from the dropdown menu. It will start backing up. This should backup your notes.
Please tell me if you have any problems with backing up.
Once you backup and get your iPhone 4S, you must follow these steps. If you don't follow these steps, you will not be able to get your notes on your new iPhone 4S.
Open up iTunes again then right click on your device (iPhone 4S). Once you do you will see a dropdown menu. It will say "Restore from Backup..." Select this and it'll ask for a backup, select it from the dropdown menu. For example "Ryan's iPhone - October 12, 2011." Pick that and it will restore to your backup. Do this when you get your iPhone 4S so you will not lose anything. Even though you're restoring, you're getting back, since you're getting the previous settings, notes, contacts, mail and other settings from your old iPhone. You'll still have Siri though! So, restore when you first get it. Also frequently backup your device, as it will be worth it. You can restore from a backup if something goes wrong or save your data for a future update.
Once you do that, you should have your notes on your new iPhone 4S and iOS 5.

If you just bought the iPhone today, the first time you connect a new iPhone or iOS device to iTunes the first time that is used to sync with another iOS device, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iOS device to the new iOS device, or set up the new device as a new device.
Sounds like you did the former and if so, this did not include backing up the new iPhone first. All data on the iPhone was replaced with the backup for the iPod Touch. The data that was on the iPhone at that time is gone.
