Unable to buy anything
Since updating to iTunes 9.0.2 I am unable to buy or download anything
from the iTunes store, I just keep getting - There Is. A Problem With iTunes
Store, Your Credit Balance Is Temp Anavailable For Purchasing Of Music.
You Might Be Able To Purchase By Using A Different Payment Method.
Yet I am able to purchase music & apps using the iTunes store on my iPhone
without any problems.

Like you guy's I have been trawling through the discussion boards for an answer - well I got bored, so decided to have a play with my network settings....and it bloody worked! Can now download etc.
So, give this a go...
Control Panel > Network and Sharing Centre > Media Sharing > turn it on
And that was it! All worked perfectly after that!

Why is my Apple ID still disabled when supposedly it was fixed by Apple ID support over the phone this am over 12 hours ago and they said it ( my Apple ID and password) would be disabled no longer then 8 hours and I still am unable to buy anything in the I tunes store or pay for any apps or games.
We are fellow users here on these forums. Have you tried logging out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then logged in and seeing if it then works ?

why can't I sign into my account and add a rescue email so I will be able to redo my security questions? I have been unable to buy anything from Itunes because it's asks me for security questions that I don't remember what I put in the first place
1. Because if you could, someone who breaks into your account could do it as well.
2. You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

I am unable to buy anything in itunes. When I press the buy button nothing happens. I have credit card into and $15 credit on itunes. Has anybody else had this problem and if so what was the solution.
Go to a place in France and purchase an iTunes gift card. You should be able to use that in the French iTunes store if you have a French address associated with your iTunes account.

For the past 3 months I am unable to buy anything in I tune store as well as google play store using visa credit card.
It is getting declined in these stores only.
In all other online stores I am able to buy with the same credit card for eg. in e bay

I was about download music when it then asked me for my security questions. The problem for me is that I've never answered these questions ever in my hole apple experience and even if I did, I've 100% completely forgot about them. I then decided to email a link to deactivate my questions however this email from Apple had never come, I'm know left unable to download music, apps, and books.
You need to manage your Apple ID and change your security question there.

I am unable to buy anything on iTunes through a bank card I've been using for a long time. According to my bank, they're now getting a lot of complaints about this where iTunes no longer recognizes the billing information entered as correct - that it's no longer reconciling with the bank. This problem started escalating at the bank this week. My bank has confirmed they've made no changes - that the problem is coming from Apple. In fact, the bank rep I talked to said he had the same problem!!!
Further, I can't change to Paypal. Every time I try, I get a 'your request is temporarily unable to be processed' message.
How do I escalate this? I've been getting nowhere through Apple Support.I've also been having this problem for the last 4 days. I've sent 2 emails and spent 2 hours on the phone yesterday without success. I was told that they weren't aware of the problem because no one ever reported it. I was also told that they would work on the problem and email me a confirmation that they wee looking into it.
Guess what..........NO EMAILS! Not the 48 hour response time email or in response to my phone call! I don't think Apple cares and I sure wish I hadn't switched from my Zune! At least Dell replies!!!!!!!!!!! I will NEVER buy anything from Apple again -

Hello, I am unable to buy apps (even free apps) or any songs/albums/films anything but I have over £30 on my account but its asking me for my bank details and I tried to put my details in and it says it doesn't work. So now that I have done that its still asking me and I cant delete any of the information I put in (which only was my name and a few others) I have had this problem for a good few months now, can anyone help me? thank you.

I am unable to buy a song on ITMS because I bought a new computer. Every time I do anything it wants a password. In general, this whole iTunes thing has gotten to be too much work for me. There are so many hoops and obstacles its just not worth it anymore. When accessing the Apple Store on my iPod I have found today that I am able to purchase individual songs but unable to buy an album?
If I tap the button with the price on next to the song I then tap again and am able to go through the process of the purchase.
If I tap on the button with the album price it turns green and I get "Buy Alb" (the rest of the text is missing). If I tap again it turns grey, reduces in size and has no text in it. Tapping again just switches it between a small green button with no text and a small grey button with no text.
Anyone seeon anything like this?In Order to purchase Videos you do need iTunes 6.x + QT 7.x
You may either upgrade your system to meet this conditions or just buy track by track without the video.
