Unable to "Buy Book" after Creating a Custom Book

I just created a custom book with the required minimum number of pages, but the option to "Buy the Book" is not available to me. Is there something else I need to do? I'm pretty new to Aperture. Any help would be appreciated!

I find the custom book feature very very useful in Aperture. To date I have always had books created through a local printer (their quality and binding format is excellent). I build the book in Aperture (custom as I prefer A4 portrait), use the PDF output option and then give the printers the PDFs which they then print to create the book.
I have thought about trying the Apple service but an unsure of the "suede-like" cover and prefer hard back. Might try the soft covers. But anyway, other book printers are happy to take the PDF output (e.g. my local printers, Blurb and probably others).

Problem after creating a Photo Book

After creating a 100 Pages Hardcover Book, I can't buy it, because Iphoto opens a window, saying that not all pages are filled with photos. verity I try, it goes back to one page, but this page is perfectly filled like all the others, no missing photos or empty frames at all.

You may have still a placeholder photo as the backdrop for your pictures. Check the page layout, if it is using an image background. Then you need to change the background or add background picture:
If you used the Golden Gate Bridge background, drag a photo to the background.

After creating a hardcover book in iPhoto how do you copy and create wire bound issues of the same book?

I created a hardcover book in iPhoto. Now, I want to make additional copies but wire bound instead of hardcover. Can't seem to make it happen.

Duplicate the book in case of problems (command-D) and click on change theme - select the same theme and the new binding -
Before ordering your book preview it using this method - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1040 - and save the resulting PDF for reference - the delivered book will match it.
- check the preview very carefully in case any text reflows or gets cut off due to size differences

After creating the database table i want to add fields through goto-table contents-create entries but "create entries" is in disable mode how can i resolve this?

You need to go to "Delivey and Maintainence" tab there you will "Data Browser/Table Maintainence",
Here you need to select "Display/Maintainence Allowed" in the drop down list.
Thie will help to find the "create entrie enable".

Best iphoto 11 book for creating a recipe book?

...Just upgraded iPhoto 11 and want to make a book that will allow photos (showing how to prepare dishes) AND plenty of space for text on the same page. The options I have seen so far seem to offer 2 possibilities: either (a) photos + very little space for text or (b) text only.
Suggestions very welcome.

Select the theme that you like the best for the dust jacket and cover and general pages. Then for those pages that would contain your recipes and photos create custom pages like those described in this tutorial: #19 - Creating a Custom Page, with the Theme's Background for an iPhoto Book.
If you have iWork you can use Pages to create each custom page in landscape mode. Then follow the tutorial to get it into iPhoto and the book.
You can do the same with image editors that support layers like Photoshop Elements for Mac. However, Pages is more powerful for this type of project.

Sounds like the Java Packages did not load properly. I would log in as the MW owner and do:
 
cd $EOF_HOME 
. ./EOF.env 
cd config 
export EOFPASSWORD <your passwd> 
./load_mw_java.sh LP 
 
and see what it says. That should reload the java into the DB. Then try your operation again TWICE. (The reason for trying twice is that most times, java will give an error the first time you use it after loading it into the DB, but will work fine the 2nd time.)

I have assembled a book in latest i photo but when i press 'connect' nothing happens. Have tried lots of different times, very frustrated!
anybody got any suggestions?

Have you run software update to make sure you have the latest version of iPhoto (should be 7.1)
Is you internet connection working OK?

Can't see the 'Buy' icon after creating a ringtone

When creating a rington on my laptop, which is where I have my primary library, I cannot see or click on the 'Buy' icon. I am unable to drag anything on the screen to move that box so that I can buy the ringtone. When I do this on a different pc I do not have this problem, but I need to use my laptop since one cannot evidently load a ringtone from one pc without clearing everything else on your iPhone. Help!

Change your laptop's display settings to 1024x768 in the Control Panel.

Problems with iPad and iPhone... new appointments in grey color after creating on my book...

I have some problems with Calendar application on my iPhone and iPad under iOS 6 with Microsoft Exchange 2010 accounts
When I create new appointment on my MacBook in iCal or in Outlook when new appointment have one or more recipients then after synchronization on my mobile devices I see new appointment in grey color but not in color of my calendar... color changes to right color only after saving some changes to appointment on mobile device but only on this device

but you should have a backup in itunes.
Every time you sync your iOS device iTunes creates a backup. go check if its there, iTunes Preferences >Devices. and there you should see if you have a backup, and in case from which date the backup is.
And ofcourse you can get your icloud data back by just logging in with your Appleid under icloud in settings on the iphone.
But anyway, if the iPhone works when you restor it as new: try adding your backup, and see if the issue comes back. And experiment with your backup and try to work out what is causing the issue, my guess is that its some app! Good Luck!

Buying ringtone after creating it

I am trying to buy a ringtone that i have created on itunes. I have done everything correctly and I do not see where the option is to buy it once its been created. I see where it says part of cancel but it wont let me go over far enough to see where it says "buy". I know its not my computer because i have moved and expanded the screen everyway possible. If someone knows anything about this please help me.

Don't maximize iTunes.
Once not maximized, move the window over and resize.
Also make sure you are on iTunes 7.6 (latest version). I know this was an issue in 7.5, I would of assumed they fixed it.

Problem after creating a custom theme

Hi guys,
I created a new theme into Apex. Actually, I just changed the page "No tabs" from the basic blue template.
Then I applied this new theme to an application (this application perfectly works with the basic blue template from Apex).
The result seems good, my theme looks like what I wanted, but the application is "dead"!
It seems that the processes are all inactive when I apply my theme. Everything comes back to normal when I put again the basic template from Apex.
Does anyone have an idea about this? I certainly dropped something in my theme, but at the moment, I don't know what it could be...

Unable to modify UDF after creating it via UI-DI API

Hi,
I've create UDTs and their relevant UDFs via DI API within a UI application. Now, although it does everything as expected, it does give me the following error if I try to modify any of the newly created UDF's from within SAP B1. The error I get is:
[User Fields - Description - Edit Type] , 'Field cannot be updated (ODBC -1029)' [Message 131-183]
If I try to add default values or modify the field size etc. I get the above error. At this point no transactions have been created within the UDT of the UDF etither.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the post.
I'm not sure though if I understand you correctly. You see I get the error message on every UDT and it's subsequent UDFs I create though code, only IF I try to edit them afterwards manually from within SAP.
When the Addon starts, it checks to see if the tables exists, if not then it goes and creates them (and their UDFs). I can then write to and refence the fields no problems. It's only when I try to edit the field (even though there are no underlying values in the tables) that I get the error message.
Now, if I understand you correctly you are suggesting that I delete the field manually (from SAP) and re-create them with the new changes? One problem with that would be then, that if I wanted to add more default values for example in the future AND there was already transactions recorded against that field, I don't think SAP will let me delete the field and re-create it?
Surely, this sounds like a bug in the DI creation of the UDFs then.. I was hoping that there would be a setting, which I could set when I create the table and/or it's fields via code.

You will have to search for ur requrired patches. You would also find pdfs, giving details on the same.
