UNABLE TO CANCEL SKYPE NUMBER

Am I able to cancel my skype number? If not then that is stupid. It was a purchase by mistake. Didn't even confirm the purchase.

Skype Credit unable to purchase Skype number (for ...

Hi, I am unable to purchase Skype number (for German) using Skype Credit. It only show some other options like CC, paypal and others.
Then I choose to test UK number, but it enable the Skype Credit purchasing option by default, but no other options. Why?

Unable to renew Skype Number

When I log into Skype, it tells me my number is about to expire. When I click on "Settings" to renew it, it simply tells me I have insufficient Skype funds (I don't). All it will allow me to do is "Update" my payment settings, even though it actually won't (when I press "billing" nothing happens). When I go to the section of the site to download a number, it only aks me to purchase a new one. HALP.

On the day your Skype Number subscription expires, it will be automatically renewed for the same period of time for which you initially purchased it.
To change your Skype Number payment method:
Sign in to your account.
In the Manage features section, click Skype Number. You’ll see the next payment due date under your Skype Number.
Click Settings.
Here you can change your existing payment method.
You can change your payment method as long as the new method supports recurring payments, such as a credit card, PayPal or Skype Credit. This is not possible in countries where the payment cannot be made from your Skype Credit balance.
When you cancel your subscription and your Skype Number expires, you can reactivate it from your account within 90 days.

How to cancel Skype number

I want to cancel the Skype number I am being automatically billed for. I know what the Skype numb er is. In my profile, purchase history and profile it all shows that I have made no purchases and in the manage account area my I see no settings options and no indication of a Skype number. I no longer need the Skype number and just want to cancel it. How can I do that? What am I missing?

Cancel skype number

Hi, I'm trying to cancel my skype number. It will expire next month and I don't want to be charged for another year as I don't use it anymore. I followed the steps to cancel until the page "Are you sure you want to cancel your number? and click Yes but I don't seem to have any confirmation message that it's been done. Has it been cancelled?

Hi, Sqrly, Skype is aware of existing website issues. Temporarily enabling scripts, pop-up dialog boxes, and disabling plug-ins which could prohibit pop-ups may help get past website problems. If you still experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service or find yourself redirected back to the Community, please try again using a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented.
Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also block reaching an agent.
Last and not least, when you reach the last step of the process, remember to click on the "Start Chat" link when you are provided the choice of visiting the Community or starting an instant message chat with a customer service agent.

Cancel Skype Number and get a refund

I've just been auto renewed (without warning) for a skype number I no longer use - I've now cancelled it - how do I go about getting a refund?

You can try requesting a refund but, generally, Skype Numbers aren't refundable unless and until canceled. Cancellation is effective on the expiry date of your current billing cycle (09/17/2015 in your case). You can use the product until then.

Unable to reinstate Skype number

We have just realised that our Skype number has expired (no notification received - we only realised after trying to call it several times ourselves). However, we now cannot access the Billings and Payments screen (get an "oops we're having technical difficulties screen). If we click on the "reinstate number" link we get a "page not found" message.
Basically we cannot do anything at all to try and reinstate our number. We've been trying for a few days now, and really need our number back as it's advertised on our website.
Anyone else having the same issues?

Unable to Allocate Skype Number

Hi All,
I have tried multiple time to allocate a Skype Number (following the instructions at https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA976/how-do-i-assign-skype-numbers-to-members-in-skype-manager) but was unsuccessful.
Everytime I receive the following error

However, I would not recommend choosing "Request a Refund;" choose another route through the various drop-down menu options presented so you can start an instant message chat with a representative.

Hi there,
I have been trying in vein to set my new Skype number as caller ID for all my Skype calls. The reason I purchased a Skype number was for this reason. Depsite following the how to on this page "What is caller identification and how do I set it up?" my Skype number does not appear in the drop down menu when I follow all these steps ONLY my mobile number shows up. I am a little annoyed by this and I would not have paid for a Skype number had I know you can not actual assign this number to your caller ID. Maybe I am doing something wrong however, I am tech savvy enough to follow instructions and these don't help. I hope it is possible otherwise I feel I will need to seek my money back. Thanks in advance

Canceling old Skype number

I just added a new Skype number for Wisconsin, and now I wish to cancel my old Skype number with a Cincinnati area code. How do I do that? I followed the instructions, but there is no "cancel Skype number" option under my old Cincinnati Skype number. I tried finding a phone number for Skype so that I could get a live voice to help me, but never found this. How can I cancel the old Skype number?

Cancelling my skype number

I took a subscription for a skype number in June, thinking it was only for three months. I no longer need it but discover I have just been billed for the coming three months, even though I will not need it or be using it. I can find no way to communicate this problem with Skype folks. Help, please!

People are getting through and starting instant message chats with customer service agents, however it may take several attempts before you are successful.
